I love this place for our family for brunch because they have delicious healthy options for me and classic diner options for my kids. It's a win-win. There's an entire gluten free menu, lots of vegetarian options, and delicious buddha bowls. They also have beer on tap and an espresso machine. I like the atmosphere - it's like a diner but feels more Austin. They're also great for take out and kids.

Our first time here. AMAZING! I got the chicumi steak wrap (added avacado) with chips and queso. My husband got the Blue Cheese Bacon burger with sweet potato fries. Love the atmosphere.

The service was good, you order at the counter and they bring you your food, if you want more drinks you go to the counter and get it yourself which is nice so you are not waiting on people. I liked my burger, they have a large variety.

I came to Galaxy Cafe for dinner with a few friends. The chicken tortilla soup wasn’t great, tasted a bit stale and bland. The steak was decent and so was the mac n’ cheese side. Overall, I’d say the value for the money is pretty good and the food comes out rather quickly.

The coffee!!! The food!!! The staff!!! I ordered a migas wrap.... I couldn't finish it all but I didn't want to stop eating! It was 100% perfect! I ordered a macchiato, and a lady came out and asked EXACTLY how I wanted it made. It was, by far, the best macchiato I have ever had!

Still, The Best Breakfast in Austin!!! 👉Update: Come on, Galaxy, why are you cutting back on the b🥓con? And, my pancake keeps getting smaller!4 &1/2 ⭐️ today! *A week ago* We chose Galaxy Café yesterday for their all-day breakfast (check the times, I believe it's 4 pm). The food is excellent. It has been for years. Only the staff has changed. Years ago, we met the kind and approachable owner, Kelly, at the West Lynn location. My hubby and I prefer the Galaxy Bowl, American Breakfast, oatmeal (and its generous toppings), pancakes, coffee, orange juice, and various tea's. Try their lunch and dinners too, and you will N⚾️T be disappointed.

Friend brought me in for the first time for dinner. Very low key vibe for a Friday night, which is what I like. Had the Grilled Chicken with Mozzarella & Bacon Sandwich with a side of Mac & Cheese. The sandwich was great, chicken was flavorful, big pieces of mozzarella and ALOT of bacon! The Mac & Cheese was about average, but didn’t detract from the meal. Will return.

A nice patio that is dog friendly. Yay ..ADA wheelchair accessible. Clean and friendly staff. The star is how yummy the breakfast was. One of the lightest and fluffiest pancakes ever. The salsa for the migas was also a treat. I would gladly go again.

This is one of my favorite spots for a fun modern diner feel. They've a great selection (but not overwhelming) for all ranges of food preferences. My kids love the breakfast tacos and request them every weekend. The staff have always been kind and helpful. Great for families, ladies who lunch, and anyone who enjoys fresh homestyle food.

We went here for dinner on a Thursday night, not too busy. Excellent menu choices and friendly staff. I tried the salmon salad this time around.

Perfect balance of American fare and fresh foods . You order at the counter and the food is run out to your table. They also have really great curbside. Pictured are the Pesto Pasta and the Zócalo Burger

Pretty great food with fast service. Atmosphere is light & relaxed. We came early on a Sunday which seems like a good idea. Cashier thinks quick on feet for our questions. We will be back.

Oh boy! Two days in a row I have found a hidden gem. Galaxy Cafe is nestled in a small shopping center in Austin's Northwest Hills. I was in the neighborhood and looking for a place to have lunch with my wife. First time here and I just love this place. I had the Zocalo Burger and my wife had the grilled chicken chipotle wrap. Both were, pardon the pun, out of this world. We both had the sweet potato fries as a side. Oh and just a note, these sweet potato fries where some of the best we've ever had. The menu here has something for everyone. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Several times during our visit we saw staff members go above and beyond while taking care of their customers. This locally-owned, Austin original is a place you do not want to miss.
