We got drunken noodles and their special crab fried rice for to go. They take some time to get food out, so be prepared to wait.
I was surprised to find thin rice noodles instead of the usual flat rice noodles in my drunken noodles. But nevertheless it tasted good and fresh. The crab fried rice tasted ok, could have had more crab.
The quantity felt a bit on the smaller side given the pricing, but definitely one of the better tasting thai places compared to others here in dripping springs.
Highly rated food trailer. A consistently good food business for a number of years. You will never go wrong here. Everything is cooked fresh. I have been frequenting this trailer since it opened. Never once had an issue.
Always a great experience when I come here. Food always hot and fresh! My go to. The only issue is having orders on time
We order from this place about once every week or two. My wife's favorite Beef Pad Thai. They also make a Sesame Chicken dish that's probably the best I've had. Just good, fresh food. Only catch is you have to order about 45 minutes in advance, but well worth it.
Pretty damn good food. I got the veggie delight, or the veggie lover - I'm not sure which - with added tofu, for $9.20. It was plenty of food to fill me up and it was very tasty.
The woman at the front, and the cook were both polite. I don't know what exactly other reviewers have to complain about with this place.
Best Pad Thai I've had in 20 years! Taste the love!
Amazing Thai food!!! Best I have had in Austin!!!! Massaman curry was to die for!
10/10 experience every single time I come here. It’s the best pad Thai, and the cheese rolls are unbeatable. Little heavy on the spice but that’s definitely not a complaint, just be mindful when selecting the levels. 😊 love love love this place
Ok.. I’ve eaten this place so many times and have yet to review it. So.. first, the food here is amazing. Because of that, it is crazy busy! I suggest always calling your order in ahead of time because the wait is always around 1 hour. Not a big deal to me if you plan ahead.
Also, the portions are pretty big. My wife and I split a Chicken Pad See Ewe and a Chicken Basil Fried Rice with an order of egg rolls. It’s plenty for two!
The Pad See Ewe is the best I’ve ever had. The Pad Thai is great as well.
We have also tried the Sesame Chicken. It was really tasty but a smaller portion.
The Drunken Noodle was awesome but a bit spicy for me. If you like the spice, that’s a great one.
Overall, phenomenal little Thai kitchen. Always call ahead!
Crab 🦀 fried rice 🍚 is amazing! And egg rolls
After eyeing this place for over 2 years I finally decided to give them a try today, and I'm so glad I did! I called ahead and was quoted a wait time of 20-25 minutes which is totally reasonable. When I arrived there my food was ready for me. I got the green curry with chicken and it is amazing. Just what I was craving! I will definitely be back!
Best quick & easy Thai food we’ve had in the Austin area. Having been to Thailand, we’ve been looking for good Thai food and this place definitely measured up!
Aroi is some of the best Thai food that I have had in the states. Having been fortunate enough to travel to Thailand on multiple occasions and spend a good amount of time there, I feel like I have a pretty good read on the cuisine. The food here is great, the Pad Thai (ask for it extra spicy) is the best in Austin. The fried rice is also very good. Portions are great for the price, and you can't beat the owners, splendid people. I eat here two times a week, and have done so for the past 6 months, I have yet to be disappointed.
If it is during the lunch rush, it is best to call ahead, but if you don't, not to worry sit and enjoy the fresh air under the live oak canopy.
Great tasting Thai cuisine. Soup, appetizers, spring rolls, entres, all really good. Would have been five stars even though it's trailer food except for the hour and twenty minute wait. And it's very easy to miss as you drive by.
My only complaint is that they're too busy sometimes and dead others which makes it tough to judge when you should call in your order if you want to eat at a specific time (like after the kiddo goes to bed).
Other than that, the food is great. The spice level is exponential though so beware if you're looking for something a little more than mild.
Despite the long wait, the food was very good. The chicken peanut sauce, particularly (although not available the first time I went). The sesame chicken was good, but not spectacular by any means. I will definitely go back.
