Nau's Enfield Drug - Austin - Photo album

Currently a pharmacy & convenience store, was until January this year a 'diner', first opened in 1951, staff informed us they were hoping to reopen again as it's original purpose once they got repairs done, I'm sure it would be a benefit to local area, interesting place to look at how things once we
Finally discovered this place after meeting a friend for lunch. Would never have noticed it otherwise because from the front, nothing yells Delicious Food- It's a throwback in a city that is desperate to be new and fresh, and thankfully, most newbies in the city have overlooked it. Great greasy-dine
Never forget Hollywood Henderson, former Dallas Cowboy w Huge Personality - WON THE LOTTERY HERE …. FOR HIS SECOND TIME! 💰 Great Burgers, People, Old Coke Machine, slow-down and enjoy Austin
had many a lunches there over the years, can't say anything for the last few though COVID and all, but stopped by Thursday as I'd heard they'd re-opened. The building has been sold, they've lost their lease, the fountain itself has been taken down.
I've been eating here since I was very young so it has quite a bit of nostalgia for me, but the food is undeniably good, mostly because they make things that they know they can make well and have been doing so for a very long time. I recommend any of the burgers or sandwiches and no meal is ever com
I have been coming to Nau's since I was a little kid for early lunch and I still love it! The burgers and milkshakes are always amazing, with an amazingly friendly staff to top it off. I wish the fountain was open all day, but other than that I have no complaints.
This place will make you feel like you went back 50 years in time. The diner in the back has a simple but satisfying menu. The rest of the store has quirky toys yet also drug store essentials. Iced tea, chips, and a small bacon cheeseburger came out to about $8. It's well priced and gives you a sma
Nau’s is Austin! I am very happy Nau’s is still here. ❤️ I do hope they find some good folks to work the Soda Fountain/ Burger Restaurant that they have been known for... for many decades! I look forward to this Nostalgic part of Austin’s history to come back... hopefully Soon! You are a wonderfu
Good food, very casual. Drugstore is super cute! You must bring cash with you to tip the wait staff! You can use a cc to pay, but you're not allowed to tip on it due to the fact that they are a pharmacy. If you forget, there is an ATM right up the block.
Fountain serves great chicken salad sandwiches and real milkshakes!! Good hamburgers. Family owned old fashioned fountain drugstore...very nice employees. It is a great place to visit. :-)
Great place for burgers, thick shakes and a bit of nostalgia. The restaurant is located at the back of the drug store. It is a small restaurant so I advise you to go a time when it will not be to busy. Going for an early lunch works well.
I'll make sure and upload a photo of Nau's the next time I'm in. The pharmacy itself is great and they have some of the best prices in town. The back counter service is what brings me in. They have awesome burger, fries, and sodas. I don't think the place has changed since the 50's and I hope it doe
Do you remember the pharmacy where young George Bailey works in It's a Wonderful Life? Nau's is sorta like that. I've been to Nau's Enfield Drug many times for candy and once for lunch. To begin -- the store is really quaint and cute. The store's aesthetic makes it seem like a set from It's A Wonde
Classic drug store experience. They make really great milkshakes. Service can be slow, but that's normal for these type of places. Haven't tried a burger yet but can't wait to.
