If you’re staying in downtown Austin, we’ll worth your visit. Small, but cool vibe, friendly staff (the bartender gave me a book recommendation!), and a range of 10 beers on tap that should please a wide variety of tastes. No food, but they have a food partner you can order from online. Second time here, and I intend to come back.

Definitely worth the stop! A few beers with caffeine to kick start your Austin vibes. Seth, the bartender, was very personable, friendly and knowledgeable about beers and Austin hot spots.

Came here around 2pm on a Sunday and was able to get seated right away. The place was at about 30% capacity. They have board games, which was super fun for me and my friends to do while trying the different beers that they have. I liked the overall chill vibe of the place and the decor that leaned into wood and nature feel with deep green walls and suspended plants

Central District Brewing is an unassuming place - no pretense, just beer. I would describe the aesthetic as Spartan, which is my style. There are a handful of different styles and one beer of each style. It’s not a big space nor are the offerings numerous. That’s not a judgement call, either, just the facts. I’d rather a brewery have a handful of beers and excel at each one than have too many and they all suck. Central District fits into the former. I couldn’t get away from their hazy IPA.

One of our favorite local breweries! They always have something for everyone and the staff (especially Seth) are so welcoming. I'm personally a big fan of dark beers and my wife is a fan of pale ales and IPAs. They have probably my favorite quad in the city and my wife is a big fan of the Weird Goodbyes pale ale. Since it is adjacent to the city parking garage, parking is never an issue. The Austin Duck tour and some other tours start from in front of the building so the people watching is pretty fun. If you're taking a tour, show up early and grab a beer!

Fun spot to grab a beer no matter the time of day. Central District Brewing is excellently situated in town to be a spot by or for the evening. They are putting on a special Thanksgiving flight which cannot be missed! Relaxed vibe with some great tunes in the background. There are even board games to keep your group entertained (found just round the corner by the water station). Clean and tidy bathrooms. Super friendly and helpful staff.

Excellent beers ' home brewed' , great variety from light, to IPA, to sour and stout. Super nice team working there as well.

This brewery has great beer, I hope they never change that. I had the American IPA and it was very tasty. My only suggestion as a tourist giving my review based on a one time impression and guide is to find an identity for your space unless the hope is to grow bigger. What I mean is the place seemed to lack meaning. It is a beautiful space and clean but I didn't see anything unique. I suppose part of that is the fact that it is built into the side of a parking ramp and business might be down due to pandemic having closed some of the convention centers nearby from the way business was previously. I'd also suggest more food options and maybe if you grow bigger a space for parents with kids.

Just a fantastic spot! Beers were all amazing, atmosphere was great to just sit and hang out. Will definitely be back next time I’m in the area!! It’s also pet friendly.

Very cool brewery/pub with an excellent selection of drinks brewed on-site. Great ambience and top notch service. The entire staff knows the beers intimately and can advise on the best fit. I suggest getting a flight and checking a few out.

Had our Baby Sprinkle for about 25 people here and it was perfect! The staff was super friendly and helpful and the space was so pretty. My husband and friends tried the drinks and had nothing but good things to say about them! :)

Dog friendly inside. We tried the hazy IPA and German style klosch and they were refreshing and fruity (IPA). Only downside is it’s way too noisy inside with loud music. Everybody had to hell inside to chat.

Great, great little brewery downtown. Very good beer selection from their own stuff and they have other brewery beers too. Very cool atmosphere and decor. Will definitely be back there again

A quaint spot to enjoy a beer downtown if your in the east 6th area. The IPAs were both great. There were a few small bites to choose from. Dog friendly inside.

Cool place with good beer, and as a visitor who stays in hotels I appreciate that someone hasn't given up on downtown Austin. They don't have food, which can be a plus or a minus depending on whether you want to bring your own. I came to get some work done while in town and it was a great place for that--not too busy, good seating options, some good low-abv options. There seems to be a designated stop for multiple terrible tour operators (things like Duck Tours) right in front, which provides some fascinating gawking opportunities for the kind of people who do those tours.

Small craft brewery specializing in sours. Limited food menu, but what's lacking in variety is compensated for in quality. The Come y Calla, Violet Crown, and Rhythm is a Dancer were all delicious. The location is convenient - right next to The Escape Game Austin, street or garage parking, and the light rail. Modern industrial decor with a window view into the brewery. The friendly barkeep mentioned that they do a theme night once a month - last one being 90's themed, with a Tang-inspired brew using blood orange. I'll definitely be back!

Very nice! The selection includes hefe, weizen, saison, sour, ipa, stout. Some are a bit of fruity, but definitely not overwhelming. All four I tasted were well done. Favorite is the Malibu Dreaming hazy IPA.Try the Kolaches, cheese and jalapeno was excellent. Opened just 8 months ago and well on their way to being a premiere craft brewery in Austin. And it's the only brewery in downtown Austin. Try it out!

Enjoyed an hour or so here trying some tasty beers and playing some games. They had a good selection of different styles including a few sours. We didn't eat but the food smelt good.

Nice sours. They had a special watermelon gose at the time we went. Modern aesthetic inside, cool place to hangout and have a leisurely drink during the hot summer.
