We have been ordering from Sesame Hill for years and Love IT! Great food, great service and very convenient. Love their chicken fried rice and egg rolls.

The food had a very different flavor, but delicious nonetheless! The sesame ckn was tangy with a hint of chile while the ckn was lightly bread but was perfectly crisp. I loved it. Thank you.
Good Food, Fast Delivery. I am somewhat a Crab Puff connoisseur. I order them whenever we have Chinese food, whether dining in, taking out, or having delivery. Sesame Hill has my favorite Crab Puffs. They are so good! Even though they are also the most expensive puffs I've ever ordered, we usually order two orders and they are always worth it. Yum! I also love their sweet & sour chicken.
Their delivery is astonishingly fast. I am always surprised how quickly everything is at my door and how hot it is upon arrival. I will definitely continue ordering from here for a long time.
Love and hate. The first time I ate Sesame Hill food, we had it delivered on a wednesday afternoon. The food was perfect and the delivery was surprisingly fast.
Second time we ate their food, I went there to order it and then take it home. The frazzled girl who took my order was running between answering the phone, taking drive-thru orders, and taking orders out to the cars. Friday night and they had one person handling all this stuff? It was very busy. I had ordered $40 dollars worth of plain fried rice (for a group of people), and after 45 minutes, it came out with vegetables in it. I was just baffled. I had repeated my order twice. Twice!
And then, the girl said to me, "Can I give you a dollar to just pretend that this didn't happen? The cooks are totally swamped right now."
And she wasn't joking. She put a dollar in my take-out bag. Then she said, "Just have them [my friends] pick the veggies out and tell them to get over it." Then she laughed, she thought this was a funny situation. At no point did she attempt to correct my order or offer me a discount because it was screwed up. I was too stunned to speak, really. I knew a couple of my friends would eat the vegetable rice if they had to, and I also knew I wasn't going to sit in there for another 45 minutes (there was a no smoking sign inside and it still smelled like cigarettes, how is that possible? Not to mention the cooks screaming at each other in the kitchen...). So, I paid, and left.
The short of it: Get delivery in the afternoon. Do not go at night, and do not go inside. And don't go through the drive-thru - cars sat there waiting for 15, 20 minutes before their orders came out. How is that convenient? And make sure they have your order right.
The the food is good, though, really good. And it's the only delivery place I've found who doesn't get confused at the concept of plain fried rice (it's on their menu and everything).
So good and so cheap! You get a whole lot for your money ( you could easily split a dish and still have some left) and the quality is great. I got the Thai shrimp and my husband got the sesame chicken. Both were amazing! A must try!
Nice Chinese in the hood. When Sesame Hill first opened, I barely noticed it, a small little drive thru and I paid no mind to it. One day a to-go menu appeared on my front door and a quick gander at it sold me on trying it. I ordered the make your own healthy meal, with the black bean sauce. HOLY SPICOLY.. the black bean sauce is spicy...Pork was well cooked, veggies very yummy. Egg roll was small and nothing awesome, but the star of the meal was definitely the Salt and Pepper Calimari, which was crisp and well seasoned. They delivered the meal hot and quickly, and the prices were quite reasonable. This was good news, since I can throw out all the other menus I have collected over the past months, and concentrate on this one as my chinese delivery go to.
Wow...this little hole-in-the-wall gem served up some excellent Sweet & Sour Chicken! The added fresh veggies: bell pepper, onion & carrot were perfect. The fried rice and egg roll were good. And the Hot & Sour soup was one of the best I've had!
I love sesame hill! I really love their crab ragoons and have had most of their dishes by now. Don’t judge a book by its cover. Yeah it’s located on the side of the highway and in a random area but pretty good food~
Do not let the appearance fool you. Their food is definitely worth stopping for.
Last week I tried it for the first time. Ordered Mongolian beef with rice and two egg rolls... My total was seventeen dollars and some change. But it was worth the money. The portion was generous.
I will definitely return.
The beef and broccoli was amazing. The beef was trimmed impeccably, and tender. The brown sauce is great. The fried rice wasn't fried tho, it was just mushy. We sat at a table and they brought us our food togo, so I guess they have tables but nobody dines in?
We will come back. Hard to get to but glad we found it. Sesame chicken has a tiny "kick" but is not spicy. Good pork fried rice, egg drop soup, and egg roll. HUGE iced tea, but I wasn't a fan, will order soda next time. Nice lady, good food, almost across from Oak Hill Hampton Inn and they deliver.
My son, daughter and I wanted to eat here today. My son complained that the food was good tasting, but the "lunch" portion size could have been a bit more. The tea tasted like and looked like water. That was disappointing to my daughter and son. I had water. It was a filling meal to me and the value was very good also. 02-13-19
Food is fine for within a mile of home. Quick. Convenient for locals, but I wouldn’t travel here. Seems over priced for the quality and level of service.
Overall I keep coming here because it is so close and coming and going from this area can be a pain with 290 right here.
Called to make an order, it was ready very fast! Went through drive thru for pick up. Delicious!
Great food! Such good flavor!
They definitely exceeded my expectations. One of the closer restaurants was closed and they were open an extra 30 minutes after so I decided to get food there instead and it was better than my regular place. Definitely give them a try because it’s made with a lot of care. Barely spent $30 on two people and for so much good food.
Great flavor, a lot of food for the price, drive-thru window is really convenient. Had the lunch special with hot and sour soup, egg roll, Mongolian Beef, and steamed rice. I will come back often!
