We thought the place was really cool. The house margaritas were impressive, we could actually taste alcohol in them. The burritos were also pretty good. Customer service and ambiance were well worth the visit. If this place is consistent next time, I’ll change this review to 5 stars.
Excellent food! The chimichanga is really good and the tin can nachos feed two and are great as well. We met the owners last night and they were very nice people. The drinks are very good and the fresh spun cotton candy with the check is a nice touch. Great atmosphere and an all around cool place. Nothing not to like here!
Excellent! So happy we decided to stop here. I am very picky and felt that this was an amazing place to eat I would highly recommend! The prices are very reasonable & you get good portions. The food was made fresh and was delicious! We are already looking forward to coming back!
Went there first time for lunch, everything from deco, service, to food quality was satisfactory. I liked everyone gets their own salsa dish so no worries about the double dipping, good chips and salsa to start as well. Taco was delicious and with good amount, not too big to feel guilty about food waste or overstuffed. Definitely will go back again.
This place is well located for the Anderson Mill or Cedar Park crowd. There is indoor seating with a bar and also a nice patio with a play area for kids. The drinks are standard for Tex-Mex but well executed. The beer list features some nice locals as well. Food is appropriately sized and well seasoned. My plate is their El Patio special. Overall a good experience although we tried it when still new and working out some kinks. Would probably be a five-star if not for that.
My shrimp fajitas where very tasty and the salsa for the chips has a nice little kick to it so I enjoyed those. The rest of my party enjoyed their meals and at the end they give you cotton candy on for free (strawberry flavor only). So the chips and salsa can be you app and cotton candy you dessert for free 🤗
The service was excellent. The food was delicious. I loved how the restaurant looked. The plates are big.
Great margaritas, delicious lime jalepeno sauce, delicious salsa, and queso. The queso has improved since our last visit.
Best experience ever! I had the Fried avacado plate. You will not be disappointed!
Staff were quick, friendly, patient, and excellent! Prices were decent, deals were available, changes were made after ordering by restaurant, but communication was effective and solutions were given and great! Thanks, y'all! We'll be back!

I went on Sunday, October, 15, 2017, and had a great experience. The host was friendly and seated us (just a party of 2) promptly. When we sat down, we got our chips and salsa and drink orders also very quickly. The salsa is so good! It is not too hot -- sometimes at other places I can hardly eat it because of the spice! We also ordered guacamole as an appetizer. It was a guacamole salad with lettuce under the scoops of guacamole. I didn't really like that, so next time I will know to ask for no lettuce. I ordered the enchiladas, and they were awesome! The chicken was perfect -- not bland or dry. The refried beans are made with chili powder (I suspect), and I really liked the flavor. Our server, Brandon, was attentive and friendly throughout our entire visit. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
Tried this place out on a Saturday afternoon, I'm so excited to have a good Mexican Restaurant near me. Flores, up the road, is by far the worst food I've tried in Austin. Tio Loco's was on the other hand delicious! Salsa was great, though the chips being served in a small paper bag was a little weird. The frozen margaritas were good, but the tap selection is seriously lacking. The food took a little long to get, but we had a very attentive and friendly server. I had the Loaded Fried Avocado and it was so good!! I've been looking for a good one in Austin and have no complaints about theirs at all. We also had the Southwest bowl which has thick pieces of beef fajita on top. All around it was a great meal. Will definitely come here often.
We dined the second week of the restaurant being open (10.13.17). They did a fabulous job of managing the restaurant and seating. The fajitas and enchiladas were really good and flavorful. The margaritas were good...especially the skinny Got a. Our server Leslie L. was accommodating, welcoming, and really made us have a great experience! We will be back.
Pretty solid! Not the best Tex Mex ever, but it seems pretty in line with the price. Queso is decent, happy hour has a lot of great snack offerings, margaritas get the job done and don't break the bank.
Very impressed with the 2 dollar bean and cheese burritos for happy hour. And brisket as a meat option is a good call. I will be back!

Came in early for dinner..very quiet but as the evening progressed, more diners came in and become moderately lively. Good ambiance and great service by Robin. We enjoyed very much the warm tortilla chips and not greasy at all. From this I knew we were going to have a great meal being this our 1st time here. I appreciate tortilla chips warm as so many other Mexican restaurants dont bother or are too oily to be edible. Had the jalapeno cream sauce over brisket enchiladas...yummy and very good flavor whereas my husband had traditional combo fajitas he felt lacked flavor. Perhaps the chicken and beef forgot the seasoning? So avoid unless just want to get it. Will be back for another meal.
Most importantly, my three small children were happy with the food and the cotton candy treat was an extra surprise. Service was great and food was tasty. They were out of tamales which my 10yo was looking forward to, but the crispy tacos kept her happy. Overall good experience, hopefully the service and food continue to trend upward so that this place sticks around.
