Fantastic food and wonderful drinks! This place is a great hole in the wall since you would think this place would be sketch if you go by looks only! The food was amazing and very authentic, and the drinks were cool, strong, and refreshing. All in all, this will be my new go-to place if I am in the area again! Also, just be sure not to sit under the vents because they are dirty, I never checked the restroom, but it's probably dirty too.
The drinks and service are great here! I’ve been multiple times, and my only complaint is the absolutely disgusting 7/11 next door that constantly has homeless or drug addicts outside asking for money. Be careful when you park, the owner of the 7/11 doesn’t mark “their” spots and will BOOT your car if you park in the wrong spot. Baby A’s is always a good time, but coming out from dinner with a boot on your tire really dampens the night.. again, I am saying please be careful where you park. Also, the dirty scum bag that boots your car will negotiate for cash.
Folks, not a better frozen margarita in Austin, if ya ask me. These things are so secret the owner comes in and mixes the mix and no employee knows what the secret ingredient is; told to me by a server there. The food has never disappointed me in 20 yrs; it's been that consistent. There is more than one in town. Some have a nicer atmosphere, but this one is my fave; looks do not matter to me. By all means, it is not undesirable when you walk in and there is a purple lighted elephant in the foyer upon entering. It's clean, that's my number 1 requirement when I walk into an eatery. Give it a try if you like Tex Mex, and grab a Purple Rita, tequila isn't the only surprise in these drinks!!!

Service was outstanding. Chili rellano with cheese was covered in a delicious slightly spicy sauce. Wide choice of drinks. Large dishes and very affordable for Austin.

We checked it all the way to Austin for the husband's birthday. Not a bad choice except THE AIR CONDITIONER WAS BROKEN so we ate dinner in the stifling heat. THE WAITRESS WAS AN ANGEL SENT FROM HEAVEN. SO SWEET AND PRETTY TOO!! The purple Margaritas were good though they are so potent and so strong they are limit two per customer. any other drink on the menu is fine to get hammered on but the Baby A purple margarita has a strict limit of two!! We began with a loaded queso that had us practically licking the bowl clean we had two baskets of chips because we could not stop eating this queso!! It had guacamole sour cream pico de gallo and taco meat in it. It was thick, rich and DREAMY!! When it got cooled it was so thick it would clump up on the chips and we weren't mad at it...AT ALL!! We had the fajitas for two. I believe the meat may have been left in some kind of citrus marinade a little too long because the beef had a mealy texture but it was quite good. The chips and all of the salsas were fantastic. The rice and beans tasted homemade. I truly believe that the whole experience would have been way better than it already was had the air conditioner been working. If you go to Austin, try it. They have three or four locations. We went to the Lakeshore location and we would go back. It may be worth a phone call to make sure they got their air conditioner fixed because they do not have patio seating otherwise if you're willing to risk it go ahead just make sure you take hand fans or a little battery operated portable fan.
The Jerry's burrito, excellent, sopapias excellent and so was the honey. The purple margarita were good for the hype, tres leches was excellent.
Expensive but perry good food. Not really large servings. The drinks are the best. Get you a Purple margaritas that's really good here. So good there's a limit of 3.
Great first meal in Austin! Service was excellent. My party all got the margaritas and said they were great.
We had a nice meal at Baby A’s. We had the Sarita Combo with cheese enchilada and a puffy taco and a regular taco. The food was good and the service was good. Nothing fancy but good food.
The food was pretty good. Service was good. The chips and salsa were fresh and were very good. I had enchiladas. My only complaint and it’s a deal breaker for me. The tortillas are factory and not homemade.
First time to the restaurant and we have been waited on perfectly. Greeted at the door with a smile, sat at the table and a young gentleman with a fro was our server. He had a great personality and attitude, a very good server. The food was cooked perfectly and tasted awesome. The flight that we ordered was delicious, they just need to be bigger, lol.
Great classic margaritas (would pass on the purple ones though). The classic frozens are tasty and strong. The “Famous Baby A’s Soup” is one of the best non-creamy soups I’ve ever had. (Nothing beats a thick creamy soup with a half stick of butter in it though). Baby A’s has become my go-to spot for a quick buzz and lunch break. Highly recommend.
The veggie fajitas were seasoned so well. The cilantro lime rice, black beans and refried beans are VEGAN!!
If there were more vegan options it would go much further on the list of places I'd go back to.

Good Tex Mex food and strong drinks. Fish tacos were really good with fresh ingredients and the shredded chicken tacos were good too.
I have been here before. We had the blended margaritas that are made in a big machine. Delicious but very expensive! Bartender was efficient but not engaging. Our waiter was very friendly. Food was basic Mexican fare. Tortilla soup really yummy!
Very accommodating, we showed up in three separate parties and our waiter quickly made room and got all orders out at the same time
