Not only was the food great, but the guy who was working was incredibly nice and personable! I went here for lunch with coworkers and he wrote all of our names in Arabic. We thought that was pretty cool lol. I ordered the falafel over rice plate and loved not only the taste, but the price and the amount of food I received. I will definitely be revisiting in the future!

A food truck that could easily be a restaurant. The presentation, cleanliness, taste, and friendliness of the owner really exceeded my expectations. I ordered the Sosa Plate and Beef Shawarma Wrap. He included plenty of sauces and the dishes were very flavorful. The dressing on the salad was just the right amount, the meats were cooked very well, and the rice even has little slices of potatoes! The sauces were delicious. I would highly recommend checking it out.

LOVED this place! The owner is super passionate about the food. The flavors are fresh, authentic, and really great quality for the price. The falafel and hummus were delicious, and the chicken Kabob wrap was great. Would definitely go back!

1000% the best chicken shawarma and cucumber salad! The wrap is so fresh, the chicken is delish! All it took was one bite and I picked up my phone to write a review. Definitely a new favorite!

All around delicious food! We had the chicken plates, which were delicious and had generous rice portions. We sampled the falafel and it was AMAZING! On top of the delicious food, the service was so kind and lovely.

Best Falafel in Austin! It is ridiculously good. Everything is so fresh. The hummus is finger licking good! And great service by the smiling face gentleman. I will definitely be back, and highly recommend it.

Highly recommend you try this hidden gem out. Food and service was phenomenal. The chicken shawarma and rice were fresh and perfectly made. The best I’ve had in Austin for sure. I found my new go to spot for Mediterranean food.

Sosa is AMAZING!!! The staff are all SUPER friendly and you can tell they take a lot of pride in their food. Everything is fresh, never frozen. I got the Falafel with hummus wrap and it’s DELICIOUS. I work right near the truck and I’m so happy to have found my frequent lunch spot!

Food was amazing! The falafel was Prue comfort food. For me being an Alabama Texan I highly recommend you give this place a try. Never will be disappointed in anything you chose. To top it all off the owner goes out of his way to serve you. Truly a great Austin highlight.

I wish there was a way to give 10 Stars. I have eaten here 20-30 times over the last year or so. I was in the Middle East for work and I experienced Falafel and Kabob in the region where those dishes were born. I will tell you that all of the food is amazing, but the Falafel is LITERALLY a Teleportation machine that brings you right to the heart of the middle east. I had the pleasure of sitting down with the owner, who generously put the secret "yellow sauce" on my Falafel wrap, and we both had a moment where the smell of the food combined with the background noise of our great city of Austin sent us back around the globe for just a few minutes!!! The secret sauce isn't always on hand, but ask just in case. Hands down, the BEST Falafel in the United States. I've been everywhere between Alaska and Florida, and no where has better Falafel. Not Atlanta, Not Michigan, Not New York, Not California. Austin, TX, Period. (PS, Pro Tip: Combine Congress Avenue Kayak adventures with a stroll north on the Waller Creek Green Belt Trail to end your day on the water with some AMAZING food)

Food was really yummy. I went during day time but I am pretty sure that evenings will be even nicer with lights and all.

Sosa’s was a great Mediterranean lunch time experience. Everyone was so nice, I had the chance to meet the owner who wanted to make sure everything came out well (and the gyro wrap was very good). This little food truck sits within perfect walking distance of the Spokesman and Austin Still with some seating available. I highly recommend checking it out.

I had an exceptional time at this food truck. The owner is kind, gracious, and caring & extremely personable. My friend & I did not eat the food immediately, but took it to go in a box elsewhere. The food kept well with our short travel time. The food looked as good as it does in pictures, and the taste did not disappoint. The flavors of the food were rich, delicious, and some of the best food I ate while on my work conference in Austin. Super blessed by this food.

Just had the most delicious lunch at Sosa’s! The owner was so kind and went above and beyond! He gave us a sampling of the rice and falafel before our food was ready and even gave us “off the menu” homemade pickles that were so so good! All of the food was very fresh tasting and well seasoned with great prices. You really can’t ask for more in a meal. We will be coming back to be regulars there from now on!

Simply put, Sosa’s IS THE BEST Mediterranean food I’ve had since visiting Afghanistan. The flavors brought back so much nostalgia! Haider, the owner is the BEST. He made our food to order, and it was hot and nothing short of mouthwatering. The chicken shawarma was seasoned perfectly immense flavors of cumin and mustard (maybe lol) that’ll make your heart skip a beat. I can’t wait to come back to Austin and try more items on the menu.
