Was in the area and craving Chinese food and found this one nearby. Decided to give it a try since our favorite spot had closed their seating area during Covid and really wanted to sit down and enjoy our meal. The service was very good, friendly hostess and waiter. We ordered the steamed dumpling appetizer with the assumption that the main dishes may take a little longer. The main dishes actually ended up coming out first which was strange but a nice surprise, dumplings came out shortly after. Overall food was good, service was great, place looked ok but if your looking for a quick meal it’s a good spot to stop by. The only thing is the menu is a little limited which can be a good thing or a bad thing but I’m definitely used to seeing a few more classics on the menu that were not being made at this place.
Arguably the best Chinese food in the area! Always super consistent and the staff is always super friendly and hard working. I love the beef and broccoli with their Hunan Sauce for a little extra spice. No wait time and the food comes out fresh and quickly. Must try if you haven't been here!

I went with friends, one of them recommended it to me. I loved the food and the service is exceptional. The shrimp are the best and the rice is great. The place is clean and perfect to have dinner with friends and enjoy a good meal. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is perfect to have a good time with friends and family.

We went on Christmas Day and they were completely slammed! Workers were almost running trying to get everyone’s orders, drinks, seated etc. The food was slow to come out but we didn’t mind because obviously this was a different situation due to it being a day when most places are closed. The Happy Family plate was really good and the fried rice was tender and flavored well. My husband ordered the Kung Pao chicken it has a lot of peanuts on it next time we will ask for no nuts. Rangoons are a little more on the sweeter side and the egg rolls were really good. I don’t recommend the sweet tea it was just like sugar water there was hardly any actual tea in it. The employees were really friendly and definitely hard workers.

Very nice cozy restaurant on normally get food to go. Tonight have the Kung Pao chicken with fried rice. Good service food ready quickly great taste could have had a little bit more meat in it seems a little bit skimpy there but otherwise everything was okay.
My favorite is the sesame chicken. Literally my favorite of anywhere in town, and the crab Rangoon are on point. I get them with hot mustard which I mix soy sauce into. I haven't tried much else, I go there for the sesame chicken almost exclusively. 😋
I have been coming here for about 14 years and having moved from around Avery ranch I still travel back for some delicious Chinese food. I am extremely picky about my Chinese food and Hunan ranch has been consistently amazing. The service and staff are wonderful and prompt, my water never got below half of a glass. The food was very quick to come out and was fresh and hot when we received it. My personal favorites are the wonton soup and crab ragoons. The chicken fried rice and curry are my favorite entree dishes. I love this place and will always come back.
Like this place and come occasionally. My daughter (7 yr) likes Chicken with broccoli and I like Seafood Neptune and scallop with garlic sauce! Reasonable price and good quality food. Eggplant is superb!

The Hunan Ranch Wings are crispy and delicious a must have appetizer (with sweet and sour sauce), serves two people.
My favorite is the Pan Fried Noodle, this item is located on the back of the menu. Crispy pan fried noodles are fried to perfection with generous portions of plump steamed shrimp, sautéed beef and white chicken with assorted vegetables, snap peas, carrots, squash, and baby corn all tossed in a wonderful brown sauce. One bowl can serve two people.
So go ahead and splurge, order an appetizer, pan fried noodles and any other main course. You and your family can take a serving from each course and add it to your plate as if you are having dinner at home. With this much food, rest assured that you can take the left overs home to enjoy for lunch the next day.
If you have not been here, I highly recommend Hunan Ranch in Avery Ranch, Cedar Park, TX. The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere will not disappoint.
Without coordinating, we ordered orange chicken and orange beef with fried rice and lo mein. The fried meats were a good mix of crispy and chewy and the rice and noodles were flavorful accompaniments. Our waitress was nice and the place was clean, open and bright. We’ll come again soon to try more!
Kung Pao chicken, lettuce wraps were AWESOME but chicken wings were less than okay. Service was great and quick.
First class friendly service and excellent food. Artistic environment. One of our favorite restaurants. Try the Japanese beers and you won't regret it.
Such a sweet server and what generous portions! Delicious variety of vegetarian options and able to please our picky eaters as well! We'll be back
