Recently visited Golden Chick because we had heard great things about it. We don’t have it in Utah so we were excited to try it. There was a mistake with our order and the owner (manager?) was very kind and apologetic and fixed the problem right away. The food was delicious and we will definitely go back the next time we’re in Austin. :)
The chicken is always fresh and delicious! You can’t beat that crunch 👍I prefer Golden Chick over KFC/Popeyes any day. Those are places it’s always a hit and miss and never consistently good in my opinion. I’m not a huge fan of the location though. Just because if their is traffic on Lamar it’s kind of a pain getting in and out.
Great food at good price! They are better than the other fried chicken options (even the more expensive ones) on any item on their menu. Clean lobby, friendly and capable staff.
I love the food but the only problem is that they have a older man in drive thru and he can't hear you have to speak loud for him to hear you and sometimes he very rude.
Food is very expensive as always, and I forget that until it's time to pay 🙃 but the food is worth it, especially for their yeast rolls. Those rolls never disappoint.

I liked the customer service, and there speedy service. The chicken was delicious. I got the big family box for only $42.99 and my grandkids loved it. All the tasty side dish and there gallon of lemonade was just the right size for my big family. We loved there fries but not too crazy for the mash potatoes n gravy. I highly recommend Golden Chick.👍

Love this chicken. Always perfect the marinade makes the chicken so juice. Love the Gravy too. Yeast rolls are yummy. Wish the okra didn't always get soggy on my way home.
