First place I ate after work upon my first arriving to Austin Texas. And it was by far one of the better all around locations to dine el pastor or street dining out in the open air dinner. Prices are reasonable. $6 gets you two tacos your choice flour or corn . Has a few issues with out of ethnic bums but the local Kat doesn't seem to mind. Has an inner area between vehicle parking and the two stands that's actually located there, plus a gas station and convenient Exxon station all in one spot. And the urban inner city with the trees and wild life blended well makes for some good views sounds and vibes. There's even wild yet familiar parakeets.

We had gorditas (chicken and pastor) and tacos (pastor and asada verde) and they were great. The price was very reasonable as well. The lady attending was very nice! They had no problem in putting my food in my Tupperware 🙃

This was the fourth stop of day one's (#4) Taco Crawl. We ranked each place on service, taste, and space. I only researched, via G Maps, times businesses are open. Little to no English is spoken but staff is friendly! I got chorizo breakfast taco and barbacoa. Both were good. Covered seating and decent amount of parking. Overall I would recommend, top 3 of the N. Lamar strip we tried.

We are Mexican food fanatics and La Gordita Loca is on par with (if not better than!) some of the absolute best, featured-on-TV places we've been - and for a fraction of the cost - DELICIOUS! Thank you!

Food was amazing and price was just right. There wasn't any English on the menu, that how you know its authentic. The red salsa is kind of spicy, becareful how much you put on it.

Not only one of the best burritos I have had but for $6 you won't find a better deal. I will be recommending this to everyone I work with and I will be returning regularly!

OMG!! Those 15in Burritos are sooo gud. I'd highly recommend Fajita de Rez (Beef) Burrito. Well cooked---juicy taste on that first bite.

They have the best avocado tacos and burritos are huge but tastes amazing. I definitely recommend anyone and everyone to go by and check it out.
