Saffron - Austin - Photo album

Awesome service and great food! It can be tough to find consistently good Indian food in Austin, let alone Nepalese - you get options for both at Saffron South! Gobi Manchurian is a wonderful surprise - never think to order a cauliflower starter, but this one packs a punch of complex flavor! We ord
Note: this review is for take out. We ordered takeout and the food was out of this world. We were genuinely impressed with everything we ordered = the Saffron Chicken Lazeez, Baigan Bhartha, Chicken Tikka Kebab, and Kolonji Paneer Tikka. Each dish had its own distinct flavor profile. you could tas
Ordered take out and the food was delicious. A bit oily, but very tasty. I ordered paneer tikka masala-medium spice (next time I’ll get hot), saag paneer, and garlic naan. I would order from here again.
Will sure go back for the Mushroom Curry - happy we asked for spicy and put the extra spicy sauce on the side. My daughter has high expectation for Butter Chicken and it didn't disappoint. Lamb kabab is dry. Portions look small in the to-go boxes and turn out perfect with the rich flavor.
Went for lunch. They no longer have a buffet. The menu is extensive. The food was hot, spicy and quite delicious. You can customize your spice range, we opted for the sweat-inducing 8/10. If you like spicy hot, try the jalapeno naan.
It's hard to come by lots of variety in cultural cuisine where we live. We were fortunate to find this charm that serves Nepalese, Himalayan, and Indian specialties. Our array of dishes were nicely presented, freshly cooked, and super tasteful. The selections we chose didn't fall short. We loved an
Absolutely the best Curry I have ever had!!!! I ordered extra spicy and yes for certain people it may be a little hot, , but it was far more flavorful than anything else... Amazing!!!
one of the best spots in austin, food was amazing everything was perfectly paced out the chicken 65 is one of the best small bite plates. over all experience 10/10
Best Indian food around, they focus on what’s important. Food and service, their is always a staff member pleasantly standing by. The food is excellent and comes out quickly, I love this place!
Delicious food and wonderful staff. Best Indian cuisine i have had in Austin. We ordered the classic chicken, chicken Tikka masala, channa masala, and the chicken fried rice. All were delicious and can't wait to come back for more! They also have delicious nann!
All the food is clearly labelled vegan or vegetarian and the waiter was very knowledgeable about which items had dairy in them, which was great since I’m lactose intolerant. The samosas were great and interesting since I havent had many samosas. The saffron goat was great, the goat itself was soft
It was my first time there and I have to say that I was impressed! The food was really good, very tasty, like homemade food. The staff very nice as well. I totally recommend this restaurant if you like Indian food.
Stopped in tonight, originally had a reservation for 6:30 but got in around 6:10 and got seated immediately without issue, had the samosa, Biryani, Tikka Masala, and a few other options to the table! Service did take a bit of time and we had to wait a bit for the check but other than that delicious.
Very friendly family that runs this restaurant. They are very polite and thoughtful. Husband and wife are very sweet and always have great food and have the best customer service. Thank you again me and my family had a great time
I love eating at Saffron South. If we eat in, the service is always attentive. Sometimes I do take away and it just makes my evening. Just had aloo gobi and steamed Nepalese chicken momos tonight from Saffron and I am so happy I got online to leave this review.
I had to go, the portion for one person is super 👌 awesome. I got lamb curry, rice, and garlic Naan bread. Super delicious. My only wish was less oil? I think it's oil? But loved it and will return .
By volume Indian / Pakistani is the #1 food in Scotland. I grew up on this food. This is by far one of the best spots I have found in Texas. Solid you should try.
