Review Haro Brother Restaurant - Ava

The service here is amazing! My father comes in every day and they know exactly what he wants and brings it to him.  This restaurant does fun community things like giving cookies to moms on Mother's Day. But, it is about the food! The Belgium waffle always comes out golden brown. Fried eggs are always just cooked enough to keep the yolks runny. The bacon 🥓 is typically crisp. It's the best breakfast in Ava. Daily specials keep things lively.  The entire restaurant feels welcoming. (One hint: if you order a Belgium waffle with fruit, request the fruit heated and on the side--you'll thank me.)

The food was excellent, the staff was nice, prices very good. Just off the square of Ava across from the courthouse. I had biscuits and gravy, and the portions were very good. Great place to take a whole family, in fact they treated us like we were family. That was my first time there and I plan on going back.

Best diner I've ever been to. Staff is on top of service, from the servers keeping your drinks full and orders accurate to the cooks ensuring every plate comes out delicious. No complaints at all.

The breakfasts never disappoint. You get good sized portions. You get good old fashioned cooking, stick you your ribs food. Will always be a 5 stars to me.

Service here is fantastic!! The food though could use some work. The past two breakfast we’ve had here have been mediocre at best. The country fried steak on our last visit was mostly breading and the white gravy was bland and floury. This is currently the only breakfast restaurant in Ava and they’ve started to cook like it. Sad because we used to look forward to eating here..

The skillets an biscuits & gravy were on point. I requested soft bacon 🥓 an they knew EXACTLY how to cook it i cant go to many places an request this...an get soft bacon back.. Everything was amazing. We stopped talking when food came ...it was to good for conversation for a few minutes!! i think they should have a regular coffee an a dark roast blend option. But other than that.. there some great group of family right there... my group of 6 came in just for the weekend float trip. An this was the was place we picked before we made our 4 hour trip home 🏡 an im glad we stopped. If were ever back out this way you can surely count on this group to be back in those seat for some great servers an yummy food. We didnt leave our leftovers they were to good to leave. 🤣 the staff was a little overwhelmed with the lobby being so full, but everyone was helping everyone out... nobody was struggling on their own.. the girls did pretty well.. an even MADE TIME to talk to the elder(seasoned) crowd/regulars even though they were swamped. An seemed to have some new trainees an they did amazing too.... small town love is truly one of a kind an im happy we stopped an got to see a glimpse of all that. Hometowns are the places to see the places to be an visit, take the time to stop> even if your just passing through..... *Tip your servers* Many blessings to you all.
