I ended up going there by mistake and found a place that quickly made it to the top of my list for shore dining. Atmosphere, service, & food were all top notch. Prices were high end, but appropriate for a fantastic dining experience. They have a very nice wine list, as well as a full service bar. The dress code is very casual, they're open year round, and they accept credit cards. I can't wait to go there again.

This place is always solid for us. Great food and drinks. It's a little bit overpriced but it is Avalon. We've always had friendly service. Love the salad bar and entrees always good. Had a dry baked potato once and another side that wasn't great. But overall it's a great place to get a good meal any time of the year.

Seated promptly and food delivered to table with in a reasonable time on New Years Eve. Everything is a la carte and gets pricey. Waitress was attentive. Dessert of Apple crisp was not good considering they only have 3 choices. Missed any apple flavor.

This spot in the heart of Avalon is a must for a night out. The waiter only had to mention "Fire On the Mountain" and I was sold. This was probably the best, if not tied for first place, Filet Oscar I've had. I liked that ordering was a bit different than normal as well and you have the chance to give your order directly to the chef. I definitely recommend going here.

I always come here when I go to the beach. Very expensive. Interesting ordering system, where you go up to the kitchen window and tell the cook what you want. Entrees don't really include sides. Salad bar is out of this world. Cool atmosphere.

Pretty expensive place to get a steak, and baked potatoe. Kids menu three grilled shrimp and French fries, 21.95. The wait staff was great and interesting to order your food yourself at the kitchen window. To me a little overpriced, but what do your expect in mid August four blocks from the beach. I would go back..

So the format is very different from any restaurant I've ever been to. However the steak (though expensive) rivaled some of the best steak houses I've ever been to. Incredible food. Will definitely come back. Highly recommend to anyone who loves steak.

Great place, good food, good service....a little pricey...but worth every penny. Go...have a good time. Great menu. Something for everyone. No reservations required. Open year round.

Great food, and great service. The same high quality in March as in August. Don't mind going to a window and ordering directly from the chef. A little pricey, but so is every VERY GOOD restaurant

Nice atmosphere. Great staff! (Carol and Karen) Prices are expensive! $30 for shrimp scampi (4) over rice pilaf. Alcohol also expensive: $5 for domestic bottle of beer.

Most unique restaurant on the Island. You can make your own salad from a great selection of vegetables. You also order your entrée with the chef and let him know exactly how you would like your steak, chicken or seafood cooked. Your dinner is cooked exactly the way you wanted! Always a good choice to eat at the Sea Grill!

Food is wonderful. My family and I have been going for years and have never had a complaint. Yes it is a bit overpriced, but we are always happy with our meals.

The Sea Grill is a landmark destination for anyone who knows the area. You order your food directly with the chef, so it's a very cool process and you can clarify if you have certain preferences. If you don't think that's a cool feature in a restaurant then you should stick to the basics or better yet stay at home :-) Headed back down very soon, can't wait! My favorite is the crab topped filet with jalepenos...and a Ketel One on the rocks - Cheers!

Great selection of entree choices in a great "local" favorite. Great any time of year but usually less crowded in the off season. Try it you won't be sorry

Different concept where you order your food directly from the kitchen. The food was good but thought it was priced a little high
