Came here to eat after seadooing from Long Beach in the am. I don't eat eggs, dairy, or meats, so there wasn't really much for me to eat. The person who served me was able to let me customize my breakfast, even though there was some hesitation. I was able to get grilled veggies with hash browns. It
Good diner food, service was quick. Chicken and waffles was weird. Got one waffle with three meatless wings. Mimosas where good
This was my favorite breakfast restaurant. The atmosphere was great with all the amazing memorabilia. Service was great and prompt.
Everybody who’s complaining in these comments about the servers probably came here during lunch or breakfast rush (just assuming). These guys took care of us and their prices are reasonable compared to literally all the other restaurants here. Not only that, their food tastes a lot better than most
I tried this location for breakfast and lunch and it was delicious! We were a party of three and we all enjoyed our meals. The servers and the gentleman that sat us at our table were very friendly. I would highly recommend coming to this location for some amazing breakfast and/or lunch!
OMG by far the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time & it was just bacon & eggs! Kudos chef! Very high quality food & meats are used which makes a big difference. Opted for pancakes instead of toast & amazing. It’s a go-to place as I’m a frequent visitor to Catalina. Jack’s is historic, nothing fan
Once upon a time, in the heart of a small town Catalina Island, there stood a humble little eatery known as Original Jack's Country Kitchen. It was a place where locals and travelers alike gathered to indulge in the most delectable breakfast delights. From the moment you stepped through the door, th
Solid choice for your typical all-American breakfast. We got the farmer's breakfast, crepes with Nutella and strawberries, and Nova Scotia benedict.
If you wanna know the best restaurant in a small island, you ask a local. I did exactly that and everyone said the best place to get breakfast on the island was Jack’s. I came in for steak and eggs breakfast and it was delicious. The place is also a fun place.
We were on a weeks vacation in catalina and we ate here for breakfast 3/7 days. I really enjoyed the enviorment. All the employees were so happy to be there. Like they were just happy to be working there. Jacks has a great breakfast and lunch menu. We had several items from here during our time but
The service and atmosphere was great. I was on the first ferry to arrive at 7am. Food was good.
Good food for the island. We had the breakfast burrito which was served wet. I wish I had known as I would have skipped the wet part, but it was really good. We also had the combo with eggs, bacon and pancakes. It was decent as well. The restaurant was bigger than I expected. The staff was ok.
A wonderful little downtown breakfast place. Perfect spot for a morning bite. Lots of natural light and the staff is so warm and friendly. I ordered the Hawaiian Breakfast, which included two eggs any style, Portuguese sausage and french toast made Portuguese bread AND coconut syrup and macadamia nu
Amazing food! Except breakfast gravy. If you're used to homemade Texas breakfast gravy, you might not like this. They seasoned it with something I couldn't quite identify (maybe chicken stock or mushrooms). Regardless, it seems like it was made with corn starch which makes it not as rich and thick.
