Food and drinks were amazing and the service was even better. We were visiting the island and planned to never eat/drink at the same place so would be able to try lots of things. BUT we just kept coming back here. It was too good to stay away.
The green wet burrito was really good to me but the other stuff were just okay. The wings were not really good.
Found this spot after multiple places turned us away at a whopping 8pm.
The food was delicious, the margs were great, and Jenny was a fantastic waitress!! So grateful this was open for a tasty feast to celebrate the end of TCT for us (did in reverse)!

Food B, service and safety A+. Overall we enjoyed our meal here. It was nice they had some options for little kids like french fries and chicken tenders. But overall the dishes were okay to good. The margaritas are sweet and strong which I liked but my husband didn't. What we all really liked was the partitions in between the tables and the fact that they have outdoor dining. Staff is super friendly and helpful.
The Customer Service was great, the food was Amazing 🤤and the drink a picture of ( Coyote Famous Margarita ) was the truth 👍🏾👍🏾!!!!!!
Went here for lunch on a trip to Catalina for my birthday! I don’t regret going there at all. The staff was nice but the place is very small and it takes a little while to get your food. It’s perfect if you’re not in a rush and want a filling meal.

On a cold Wednesday night in January, not many restaurants are open, thus choices are limited. I must admit that I felt hesitant about this restaurant due to the uneven reviews. But it turned out to be an enjoyable dinner, all because our waitress Leah made it so. She was always smiling, attentive and personable. She made us feel we were well taken care of.
The beers were served ice-cold with lime. My partner ordered meatball soup, which he said was good. Then we had Chicken Fajitas (he) and Carnitas (I). The food was good. My partner usually is not a big eater but he finished the chicken fajitas. My only (minor) complaint was my carnitas was a little dry, but still tender. The portion was big and we had leftover boxes.
A previous review complained about not getting free tap water and paying $1 for bottled water. Well, the restaurant didn't charge a high markup. We were charged $2.50 for bottled water at another restaurant in town (Jack's). Restaurant business has overhead cost, so don't complain about $1 bottled water. If you think paying over $20 for chicken fajitas is too much, perhaps you should just buy chicken breast and cook at home yourself.
This is a good Mexican restaurant I would definitely go back.

here we go.... this place is a 10/10 i love it here i order a cadilac margarita and for my queen a mago margarita they came on fire.. both of them was super good then we order THEEE FISH TACOS AND THEE NACHOS and when they got to us i asked if im supost to feed the homeless population with them because the portions that they give us but the food was on point the nachos sheshhh bomb. so yes this place is that good our waitress super cool super friendly so make sure u tip right.. with that beeing said we will def be back for round 2... follow me @bearlocstarr1 on my instagram.
Food tasteful and colorful. Hat to pay for Salsa and chips. I had Posole and it was full of flavor.
It's a friendly Mexican restaurant. Plenty of choices (both food and drinks). Prices are reasonable (given that Catalina Island is a pricy place to visit). I gave 3 stars for atmosphere because the place is a bit noisy for my taste. However the crew is extremely friendly.

This place needs at least 4 stars not sure the reason behind only 3.5 stars. There are things that are negative for sure...
1. Waiting time after you order your appetizers- takes 25 -30mins just to get ur order. I overheard they only have 1 cook and 2 waiters etc...it looked like they had staff shortage.
2. Waiters don't check in often- they take the order and disappear in a a second, they serve your food and before you ask them something, they take off very fast. I am not sure about the reason.
3. Had fish AL Diablo from the sea option- when asked what fish is the one they served. The waitress went, asked the cook,came back and said " it's something Alaskan fish..but what Alaskan fish no idea...."
So surprisingly, it looked like just serve the food that's it...
Some positive things
- Food is very good, they will accommodate to your needs. It was very delicious. Yummy gummy shot was good. Chicken Enchiladas and shrimp taco was very good. They only have pork tamale. I really wanted chicken tamale though
- Payment option was digital, don't have to wait there for another 30 mins for the server to get back with ur card.
Came in to visit with friends for the day .. this was highlight of the day . Came in for a drink and ended up staying a while . Leah the bartender was amazing , came in when it was slow and got great service from her and when it picked up we still got great service . And all her drinks were amazing , I had coyote buffalo milk and the Paloma and he lava flow .. nachos were great too
The guy actually refilled our margaritas with the rest of what was left on the blender without us asking. If that isn't 5/5 service I don't know what is

Great food, and great service! Me and my party enjoyed ourselves here. We had a great time here, even when one of the neighboring parties was beginning to be a bit too much. That didn't subtract from our overall experience
