Our neighborhood favorite. Where "everyone knows our names"...the warm old brick interior is reminiscent of a Bostonian basement tavern. Dave, the owner and chef, and his pleasant and friendly staff make you feel like family. He has a full service bar as well as surprisingly good affordable wines. We've tried everything on the menu and can't find a fault with any thing. We specially like the Tuna over flash fried kale as well as the fish dip as appetizers. He " imports" his grass fed beef from the Midwest and it's among the best I've ever tasted. The Pork Chop and the Salmon are outstanding as well as the Flat Bread Pizzas. His one desert, a huge apple dumpling with cinnamon ice cream is the perfect finish to a wonderful meal.

We dined here for our 18th Wedding Anniversary recently and I had the filet which was done perfectly, the Gouda cheese and Naan chips appetizer was fantastic as well as the cinnamon, apple ice cream dessert. The owner was very friendly and the staff attentive. We will be back and it was a great experience and place to celebrate our 18th anniversary!

Pork tenderloin sandwich is awesome and huge with hand cut french fries. Crab corn chowder was delicious. Personalized contact by owner and chef. Great place to stop, very welcoming.

18 East is my 2nd most missed thing since moving to TN, with my family being #1! I’ve been up here for almost 3 years now, eaten at 100’s of restaurants and still haven’t found anything that compares to the prime rib wrap & definitely no place that feels like home the way Dave always makes 18 East feel! I can’t wait to come back & visit soon.

Incredible place! Do make sure to give time for getting your order as the kitchen can get backed up. The food is very worth it though! I ordered the ribeye and it was amazing! Even being slammed, the waitress did a great job, I will return.

We went for our anniversary and had a wonderful evening. My wife had the pork chop which looked like it came off of a brontosaurus and I had the prime rib Ruben. They gave us the granny apple and ice cream because it was our anniversary which was tough to eat after eating so much food. Can't wait to go back!

The fiesta shrimp with its bed of fried kale was perfect, hot crispy, and the sauce, so good! Hubs had the oversized ravioli with creamy seafood sauce, he inhaled it. My burger was cooked to the point, very tasty, the sweet potato fries a bit dark and i didn't care for the butter on the side, but dipped them into the yummy sauce that came with the shrimp.the staff is very attentive, the owner was very friendly and stopped by our table several times to check on us.

I had the Portebello and veggie wrap to get something with veggies. It was filling and very tasty and came with chips and a big pickle for $11. The waitress was nice and the food came quickly. The owner even chatted with me and gave me some history of the historic building he renovated very tastefully also. I was really impressed with everything and highly recommend to bring your friends! I was solo so I ate at the bar but they also accommodated tables of four and more.

We are snowbirds and our good friends kept talking about 18 East, so last night we went. Through my work I have eaten in more 5 Star restaurants than I can remember. I’ve got to tell you, the four of us had simply incredible meals last evening. We had salmon, ravioli and shrimp dinners, with calamari appetizer. I honestly can say I cannot recall ever having a better dinner. Dave and his staff were so welcoming and attentive. I’m telling you, we are going back and you will NOT be disappointed!! A welcome return to fine dining. Thank you very much and we’ll see you soon!!

I had the cheese ravioli-delicious! Was drenched in a lobster sauce with shrimp and had some bread as a side. Lady friend got a chicken dish covered in Monterey jack and grilled onions/mushrooms. Lighting for reading the menus is tough-saw quite a few patrons using their cellphone flashlight to see it. Went on a Friday night, so as expected, it was busy. Good restaurant if you aren't in a hurry

First time here (for my birthday), and the food was good... however, the waitstaff seemed rude. Not sure if I will go back again or not.

Went there with a party of 9. 5 people were served wonderful food and very happy. The last 4 waited 2 hours and never got food. The owner came out and apologized. He never charged us for anything. He did the right thing! The waitress on the other hand should be let go. She was drinking and eating with the group next to us. Bad management

The food was good. It was a little dark but I didn't mind too much. My boyfriend loved his food. They were very busy, so not the best place to eat if you're in a rush. But if you're looking for a casual good place to eat, it is a winner. Will definitely be trying it again.
