Once we landed in Bainbridge Island I have seen a couple of mentions about Mora Iced Creamery. Even though I had a heavy lunch, I wanted to try these guys & headed towards there store. It’s not difficult to find, there are obvious sign boards.
When asked what’s their signature flavour & I was recommended to try their Swiss Chocolate. Took a scoop on there waffle cone & it was heaven from the first taste. Beautiful rich chocolate with accents of caramel (though not a big fan) made thus creamy, icy ice cream, more delicious. A perfect accompaniment on the journey back to the jetty, especially on a rainy day. Heartily & heavily recommended, don’t miss it.
This place was a popular attraction for everyone. I greatly enjoyed the location and the raspberry sorbet. The lines took a half an hour long due to popularity. They're quick and efficient when taking orders. It's a must to visit this place!
Went to this place a couple of months back and now I'm writing this review! There were amazing unique varieties of ice cream flavors including lavender, cheesecake and Irish coffee. After tasting spoonful's of the different flavors, I finally settled in for the Irish coffee. It was absolutely delish. I am a crazy coffee addict and this ice cream was totally worth it. My sister got the lavender ice cream and it wasn't anything like lavender, just tasted pretty much like Vanilla ice cream. But I would definitely recommend people to visit this place. And it's a tad bit pricey.
HUGE selection of flavored. Lots of chocolate stuff. The ice cream wasn't amazing. But it was decent ice cream. A little expensive, I thought. I got a single scoop cone and it was a little over $4.
But the service was great they let me try like 7 different things. And the young ladies were very nice. Not a lot of seating. But a nice place.
Mora makes their own ice cream. We tried the Swiss chocolate and the Mexican chocolate.
Green Tea Ice Cream. I was looking for a good post-dinner flavor that wasn't too sweet. I chose Green Tea which was a delicate flavor, lightly sweet and creamy.
Being lactose intolerant, this ice cream was worth the stomach ache I endured later!
The icecream...cheesecake with brownies...was delicious!
Delicious unique flavors - would suggest anyone in the area to stop by for a sample even in the winter.
This place is so good, that we have to wait in the line for at least 20 mins to buy ice cream.
There were many flavors and varieties of ice cream available here.
I have visited this place twice. The first time I had ordered triple parfait and this time I had ordered banana split with coconut, pistachio and Italian chocolate ice cream. It was mouth watering..!
I would definitely recommend this place to all the ice cream lovers.!
Delicious ice cream with gourmet flavors on a quiet lane in busy Winslow. The interior is bright and clean. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Great stop for an afternoon break.
Excellent local ice cream shop with a great variety of ice cream and sorbet flavors. Often a long line so be prepared to wait. They no longer accept cash, so credit cards or contactless payments only.
It’s worth the hype! You get a lot of bang for your buck. The flavors are divine. My husband laughed at me as we were leaving because I described it as “luxuriously delicious.”
I've eaten a LOT of ice cream in my long lifetime, and I honestly think this is the best ice cream I've ever eaten. Rich but not too rich, and very flavorful. The flavors are unique (with the "comfortable" basic flavors available as well of course) and the ingredients are high-quality. But don't worry when you see the word "unique" - I'm not talking about wildly mismatched crazy flavors like "lemon cajeta bubble gum" but lovely pairings like "dulce de leche with shaved chocolate". For chocolate lovers like me there were several options. And I LOVE that they have cake cones! And gluten-free cones for my celiac friends! Staff were super friendly and didn't rush me at all. I recommend the "split single scoop", which was plenty big enough and lets you try two flavors. I don't travel to Seattle very often but I'm hoping to make the Bainbridge Ferry and Mora Ice Cream regular stops....
Quick service, polite staff, and delicious ice cream. We got the double scoop, shared between an Italian chocolate and the lavender flavors. Both were so delicious.
Ice cream was soooo delicious! Prices a touch high...and customer service was just baseline. If you work in a place that has a lot of tourist traffic....workers should probably expect tourist questions (like...what restaurants would you suggest around here.) I know the questions probably get old..but again, it's a tourist area...we can google things...but sometimes its nice to hear the more locals reviews of places. Again, ice cream and variety of flavors...top notch!
I loved the ice cream! Expect to wait a bit, I waited about 15 minutes luckily! I got the dulce de leche with whipped cream and I ate it all. Customer service was great and patient.
