This was the BEST breakfast I ever had. 3 eggs, bacon, sausage, fries and grits! The staff was very friendly and the service was fast and mindful. Would definitely go again. Authentic soul food at a great price.
I believe 5 stars isn't enough to explain how great this place is. I had the officer Steve special adios mio!!!!! I believe this is the best breakfast spot on long island(Queens and Brooklyn included) and possibly the state. It was cooked and season perfectly. The other food I saw customers eating looked delicious to. I was tempted to ask if I can try some of there plate but they brought my food out and I was shocked to see it. Very very delicious food and service was fast and efficient. And the price was just as great as the food.
Very good food served fast and hot. Excellent breakfast choices, except no biscuits. But mediocre coffee and so-so service.

REALLY great Soul Food! You can taste the love in every single bite!
I see quite a few reviews describing the staff here as having very bad attitudes - but we’ve been received and served with warm, welcoming courtesy each time we’ve gone there. We never dine in - we always get takeout, but it’s always been a nice experience - not to mention delicious! 😋
The food here was absolutely delicious. I ordered the ribs, Mac and cheese and collard greens. The ribs were tender which is the first thing I look for. The sides were both flavorful. My only wish is that they put more food into the platter. My wife had the barbecue chicken which is 3 pcs now instead of 4. The yams she ordered were very good and the barbecue chicken also tasted good. The wait was about 15-20 minutes and the price seemed fair. I would highly recommend going here if you are looking for a good soul food spot in Long Island.
The food was amazing! I had the OB caveman deluxe and my gf had the officer Steve. When I tell you everything was good. EVERYTHING! It was definitely a soul food spot and I will order again. The French toast doesn’t even need syrup that’s how good they were. Can’t wait to order again.

Soul food at it best. Chicken and waffles were amazing. The chicken was seasoned just right, the waffle had the perfect combination of crunch. The beef brisket was tender and melt in your mouth good. Fell in love with the yams. The owner was so nice and hospitable. Prices are also moderate. There are not many tables but when I went it was not crowded so we got to sit down but I've heard it can get busy at time. A must try.

Idk I'm a supporter of underdogs and the independent. Was put on hold for a very long time when I called until after more 10 I hung up. Gave a while and called back. My order had issues "yet" I believe in accuracy. I can't fully say it's their fault. It was delivered and we all see reports on how uber eat and door dash drivers leave things or eat or drink things when a person doesnt tip as well as they wanted... So the missing tea and food item could have been due to that. "Possibly" yet when I called back to let them know of missing items as well as fact that I was still going to give them a good review I was just notifying them of the missing items. I got a nasty attitude initially.. That alone.... When your about to say nah dont worry just be cautious. Ticked me off. Then I ate the food and ... I regret ordering the cat fish. It's meat was soggy and seemed water logged. Grits were disgusting and a weird creamy. The salad was good tho I got no dressing I requested balsamic and got nothing. Large Tea was missing yet the rest of the order was mostly decent
The staff is very pleasant and seasoned on the customer's needs. The place is small and intricate and very clean. The food is the BEST SOUL FOOD IN THE ENTIRE LONG ISLAND.
THEIR FOOD IS AMAZING. Always fresh and served hot. Also they have a great Desert menu as well. If ever in town please do yourself a favor and try the place out. Their food will have you Mesmerized.
Great service great people and even better American food! Nothing like soulfood. I went for the first time today and I am hooked . I'll be returning next week. The plates are full plates . No skimpy little portions . I ordered salmon cakes candied yams and collard greens for lunch which was amazing and peach cobbler for desert. I'm so full and satisfied .
First time visit, small place with only a few tables so not a place for a big crowd. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. I ordered the brisket and chicken and waffles. Both were done very nicely. The brisket was very juicy, the chicken was nice and crunchy. Definitely worth going and will be going back in the future. Nice find.
BEST BREAKFAST I EVER HAD!!!
I recently just moved to Long Island. This morning I decided to order breakfast. I'm a breakfast person big time. I ordered the Cave man breakfast with French toast. Hands down THE best breakfast I've ever ate in my life!!! Everything was DELICIOUS!!! I'm a customer now!
Great soul food 👌. The price is a bit expensive but most definitely well worth it. The food is very good 👍. The employees are very nice. It's covid-19 safe as they practice social distance and sanitize each table after every use. Did I mention the food is delicious 😋. Loved it and I had food to go home 🏡 with. 😋😋😋😋😋
I absolutely LOVE this place! Everyone is kind and the food is incredibly delicious! Ben is definitely accommodating when it comes to catering. I have called them at the last minute on many occasions to cater a meeting for me. They have always come through for me and within budget. Benny B's, the best thing to hit Long Island in a long time!
