The food was delicious and served hot. We had the wedding soup and the old Italian and the porketta. They have so many different options including vegetarian choices. Visit the market for all things Italian and a bakery with homemade sweet treats.
We came here for lunch and it was fabulous!!! So many options, great atmosphere and great employees. We enjoyed our stay here.
I went to Di Pasquale's to grab lunch. This place is amazing!! Customer service is awesome, too. I ordered some baked ziti with meatballs and a canolli. Both were delicious. The menu is huge. OMG. Also, there are lots of wine and other alcoholic beverages that you can buy. It's not a huge place, but there's a million and one items to choose from. You can eat in or carry out. I can't wait to go back!!
TLDR: Amazing Italian eats with a well stocked Italian market. Come for the italian hoagies and pizza.
Vibe: 5/5. Di Pasquale's latest location in Brewers Hill is definitely an upgrade from their humble Highlandtown location. The market is broken up into 2 sections, the grocery market on the left and the sit down full service restaurant on the right. The market is sprawling and has everything you could ever want from an Italian market. From pasta, to frozen house made sauces, to cold deli salads to alcohol, it's a foodie destination! For the restaurant portion, the dining area sits off to the side of the market, giving it a bistro vibe. There are several 4 top tables that can be pushed together to accommodate larger groups. Simple yet clean decor, nothing to complain about!
Service: 5\5. The staff at Di Pasquale's were fantastic. We went for a weekday night dinner and were seated immediately. Our waitress did a fantastic job explaining the menu and helping us make a few hard choices (the menu is huge!). Bonus points for our waitress bringing us a whole carafe of iced tea, as it was a hot day outside and several rounds of fresh brewed iced tea was exactly what we needed. Overall, the service was super friendly, quick and very helpful.
Food: 5/5. Hands down, some of the best Italian eats in Baltimore. On our visit, we went with the Old World and Tuna Diavolo hoagies and a Briella Piccante pizza. Both subs were well made, stacked moderately high of meats and cheese. The flavor combos of both subs worked amazingly well, both having fresh pickled hots from the deli that just make the sandwich. Bread is also made in house, having a nice chew and structure to hold up against and sort of toppings. The pizza was also very tasty. The Briella Piccante was a Neapolitan red sauce pizza that had spicy soppresseta, mozzarella cheese curds and green olives as the toppings. The combo of spicy meat, creamy cheese curds and briney olives worked wonderfully. The pizza dough is very thin, with a nice solid crunch with every bite (no flop). Pizza size is approximately 10", so the perfect size to share if ordering other items or for 1 person. Since no Italian meal is complete without dessert, we opted to order some of their fresh made pistachio gelato, chocolate dipped cannoli and the fried dough with Nutella. Di Pasquale's cannoli game was on point. Generous cream filling with a crunchy outer shell that was dipped in chocolate. The pistachio gelato was also a winner, including huge pieces of pistachio in every bite. The fried dough was reminiscent of a funnel cake, but without the crunch which is my favorite part. However, the Nutella sauce was a nice touch for dipping. Overall, our entire meal cost around $65 which is more than reasonable considering the amount of food we ordered. If you are looking for a casual Italian meal for both lunch and dinner, I highly suggest stopping by Di Pasquale's for a bite!
I can’t recommend this place enough! I so enjoyed the food and shop. The cannoli cannot be missed. I had fettuccine in clam sauce - it was good, but I liked the gnocchi my friend ordered. Delish!
Well, there is not much to say other than WOW. This place is a treasure trove of amazing food. There is a substantial market here that is filled with European delicacies that would make you eat glass to get another bite. They are that good. My wife and I had the opportunity to speak with the owner for a bit. He was manner the meat counter and was very kind and humble. I shared we had driven in from Dallas Texas and he was as he put it. Honored we chose to eat as his place while we were in town. Well, it was all our pleasure because we still talk about this food months later. The review is much over due and we look forward to going back one day!
A good friend took me to lunch here, during a recent visit to Baltimore. We arrived at a busy lunchtime, but were seated quickly nevertheless. The sandwiches were outstanding, the coffee and cannolis definitely to die for. Despite it being hectic at lunch the service was still efficient and very friendly. I’ll make sure to return the next time I’m in Tom and will in the meantime recommend this great place to anyone who is looking for a good Italian deli and great food!
I LOVE this place! There are so many authentic options to choose from its almost overwhelming. From items made fresh on the spot, to the frozen items section if you want to stock up! They have everything you could imagine and more! Plus there’s a small dining section if you want to grab a bite to eat and enjoy an aperol spritz or some wine! There isn’t a single item of purchased that hasn’t been delicious and the imported selection is incredible!
I only eat meatball subs from here. Their subs are HUGE! The meat is well seasoned and the bread taste like it’s freshly baked. It’s enough to share with 2 people. They are quite expensive 4 subs came up to ~$85.00. But it was worth every penny.
Wow! Everything is amazing!! I spent a few weeks back East and this place is my favorite spot. Awesome Pizza! However, everything else is great too. I'm a picky eater but found so many good things. The service was awesome! I didn't want to post but I have to share. Go!
Great food worth the short wait. Don't forget to take home dinner.
Omg soooo YUMMY! My daughter and I first time. We enjoyed our spread here on a Friday night. We try different restaurants on Fridays in tonight was our night to try out Di. Omg I am sooooo happy we did! I got some food to go lunch meat, stuffed shells, frozen sweet peas, etc. We dined in and enjoyed lasagna, baked ziti, garlic bread, Cesar salad, rice balls, and meatballs. All was super yummy! Of course we bought half of it home to enjoy for the rest of the weekend. The service was superb our waiter was super dope! She was super sweet! We will definitely be back! I couldn’t stop eating lol… overstuffed in ready to sleep now. Thank you all for a wonderful experience!
Growing up in NY deli's are my thing. Dipasquale's is a go to for subs of all kinds
I'm also a Italian sub junkie and they do a great job with theirs. The bread of a sandwich is key and they have great bread. Three sandwiches pictured are Italian with everything, luigi with breaded chicken and a butchers hill cheese steak.
Also tried some deserts, the raspberry thumbprint cookies were real good and the Italian tri-color cookies they sell from Brooklyn are very good.
The shop also had a variety of Italian specialties like fresh pastas, sauces, olive oils etc.
Recommend taking the trip and giving this place a try. Go hungry

Love this place! Food and service is always great. The Italian market section is great too. I’ve tried everything from their pizza and sandwiches to their deli and pastas. It’s impossible to go wrong
Hands down my favorite Italian market for shopping to make my own food at home, catering parties, carryout and place to dine in Baltimore for authentic Italian dishes! The food is always top notch! Have been going there with family and friends for years even prior to the new location! Highly recommend
Food is excellent, especially the Italian coldcut sub. Very crowded, so you may need to wait a little bit of time to get a table. Liked their old location better, but the food is still just as good.
The only deli I will go to!! Di Pasquale's is a gem. They provide consistent friendly service and amazing food. Their deli is great with delicious sandwiches. The bread is ALWAYS fresh and they carry quality boars head meats! They offer a ton of menu options plus market items as well. I will always recommend Di Pasquale's!
As someone who loves to cook Italian food, this place is heaven. They offer a massive variety of imports along with fresh bars, fresh desserts, and a deli. Our dine in experience was friendly, prompt, and comfy. I shared Tuscan chili and the best Scooch I've ever eaten.
While I don't have a sense for wine, my girlfriend was impressed by the selection offered. We picked up fresh pasta, cheese, and tiramisu for the next day and they did not disappoint.
I will be back n as often as I'm in Baltimore.
Stopped in here because of the great reviews. Got a few things including a deli sandwich. The flavor was good and the bread was perfect. The balance between crunchy and soft- they’ve got it! This place has a ton of selection (deli items and otherwise- jams, cookies, pasta, olive oils, jams, even turrón). Plus space inside to sit and eat (and a bathroom!) - the staff and other patrons were all friendly. I saw the proprietor taking sandwich orders, addressing an issue with the register and chatting with customers. There was no parking in front of the location but I parked a block away. Now I have a favorite deli whenever I go through Baltimore. It’s just off the 95 and there are some gas stations between the deli and the 95 so I can gas up nearby too!
Edit: the last few times I’ve been here I’ve been able to park right in front. Great sandwiches and other options- I stop here whenever I pass through Baltimore.
