Crowded place, gotta have reservations. Saturday night dinner with nine people. Sat us on time and our waiter was excellent at explaining everything. Grilled Caesar has changed over the years and is not what I remembered, still great but less charred. Everything else was also delicious. Ample serving sizes and prompt service. A completely different bottled water, making this place unique.

I went here tonight for my birthday dinner. Tony was fantastic! Everything was so so delicious. I ordered the Lobster Regina & it was legit one of the best dishes I have ever eaten. Great wine menu! Attentive & prompt service! I will definitely be back!

Came here to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. The food was AMAZING! I had the fettuccine bolognese and when they say they have the best espresso martinis in town … THEY MEAN IT! Our server Peggy was awesome and very patient! I ended up coming back three days later because I enjoyed my time!

I celebrated my birthday at La Scala Ristorante in Baltimore’s Little Italy, and it was my first visit. To start, we had a warm grilled Caesar salad as an appetizer. Then, I savored the Samantha fettuccine, made in-house, with jumbo lump crab, fresh spinach, and a delightful vodka sauce. Meanwhile, my boyfriend indulged in a whole fresh branzino, not filleted, and a side of penne pasta. The staff, including our waiter, was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the evening, which added to our enjoyment. To top off the meal, I enjoyed an espresso martini that was truly out of this world. And for dessert, we shared a delicious tiramisu cake. The entire dining experience, complemented by the warm and welcoming staff, was a fantastic way to celebrate my birthday at La Scala Ristorante in Little Italy.

We were blown away by our wonderful experience at La Scala last night! Our server was so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu and specials, and we ordered the burrata special because she made it sound so delicious (spoiler alert: it was incredible). The atmosphere was warm and romantic and the restaurant had that classic Italian vibe that is lost on so many newer establishments. The food was incredible—the mussels with white sauce was the star of the show, but we loved our veal parm and lobster fra diavolo as well (and a very reasonable price point for 2 tails, I might add). Overall, a wonderfully charming experience. Will be taking my Sicilian parents here if they ever make it out to Baltimore.

This was our first visit to this beautiful hidden Baltimore gem. The restaurant crossed our path through the recommendation of friends. We will definitely be back. Quaint Atmosphere, Great Service and Friendly Staff.... Most importantly, our food was beautifully plated and was simply delicious and served promptly from the kitchen. Per the menu, dishes are cooked to order! Yummy...Soooo good!! I was in heaven. This was definitely the perfect spot to celebrate our beautiful mom on mother's day! Looking forward to the next visit!!

Went here to celebrate my sisters graduation and the service was phenomenal always on top of water refills and extra bread. The olive oil was delicious. The sea bass was so flavorful. The fettuccine bolognese was delicious and made awesome leftovers.

Fantastic restaurant in little Italy that we will definitely be returning to. La Scala combines a hardworking baltimore attitude with an old school Italian environment. This combination is pulled off very well by way of a diligent staff led by a beloved Italian Chef. The restaurant is a combination of a row homes and although it may seem busy the staff makes you feel right at home allowing you to fully enjoy the experience. Don’t be afraid to try a more creative option as you’ll be well rewarded with a delicious meal.

My first experience at La Scala was a party of 4; myself and my girlfriend and a buddy with his girlfriend. All in all, I love the ambiance of the restaurant. It truly gives the upscale feel without the gaudyness typically associated with a dining room of "ritzy" caliber. The server we had was very knowledgeable, but we had some times where we would be waiting just a bit longer than normal to have him come back and take our requests. That minor occurrence aside, he was able to give us all the specials without hesitation (and there were a ton!) and also helped us select a wonderful bottle of wine. The appetizers we selected were the calamari and the bruschetta. I'm sure that everyone has ordered tons of calamari and bruschetta in their lives, but I HIGHLY recommend both. The calamari was golden and delicious, with such a slight coating on the squid that it was perfectly flavored without overpowering the squid taste. The mouthfeel was impeccable. As for the bruschetta, mix up the tomatoes and goat cheese, add some of the house balsamic on the table, and get ready for a flavor bomb. For our mains, we got the veal ossobucco and the fettuccine Samantha. The fettuccine Samantha came out as a generous portion, with such a rustic beautiful plating presentation. The lump crab meat mixed into the tomato sauce was a wonderful combination, and my girlfriend thoroughly enjoyed it. The veal ossobucco was just a little cold, and didn't have as much sauce/drippings as I would have liked. The flavor was still there, but the fat also wasn't completely rendered. The homemade pasta on both dishes was impeccable, however. It truly makes a difference. For dessert, the ladies had espresso martinis and we shared pistachio cannolis. The drinks and cannolis were a great end to the night. The martinis had a decadent, slightly creamy taste which was a treat. The cannolis, of which I had never had pistachio flavor before, are definitely worth trying! I give this a solid 4/5 stars. I will absolutely be back again!

Our first time visiting La Scala last night and it will definitely not be the last! Wonderful restaurant, the upstairs seating area has a lovely atmosphere. Our waitress Angelina was such a pleasure and helped make our dining experience exceptional. Food was absolutely delicious. For the appetizer, we had the stuffed fig special. For dinner, we each got pasta dishes with breaded chicken on top! Drinks were excellent as well and service was very efficient! Prices are also very reasonable. You will not find a better deal for this high quality cuisine. Highly recommend this place!

Great restaurant in Little Italy. Very knowledgeable and attentive servers. Support staff was spot on with water, bread, and removing plates. Extensive but not off point menu. Good selection of specials that wait staff recited from memory. Food arrived promptly. Good portion with well balanced flavors. Located in a quaint old building with unique character. Multiple dining spaces on multiple levels. We are on the patio which was in the rear of the building past the kitchen. The patio was sandwiched between two other buildings with little light and no view. This was the only star I could take away. Would definitely recommend.

I had an absolutely splendid experience. Angelina was amazing and had wonderful recommendations for us. The ambiance is perfect and the food was incredible. My appetizer was the mozzarella, pancetta and shrimp bread. My entree was the lobster Regina and my dessert was the lemon sorbet. I’m excited to come visit again and try everything else they have to offer. Don’t let yourself miss out on this amazing place!

Who says Baltimore can’t do good Italian!? Whoever it is hasn’t been to La Scala. 🤌 La Scala is great Italian spot in Little Italy next to Harbor East in Baltimore. The Chicken Parm and pasta were great and they were very accommodating to our two kids. Thank you! The atmosphere was decorated with Christmas and was very festive. Can’t wait to go back when the weather is nice. A must try for all Italian food lovers!

Ok, Italian is not normally my go-to choice, just too much spaghetti and meatballs growing up. That said, this place is just plain excellent. The food was succulent and tasty. Angelina, our server, was superb, knowing the menu and specials inside and out, extremely pleasant, and appearing out of nowhere when we needed her. I will definitely come back whenever I'm in Baltimore.

This was my 1st time visiting this restaurant. My daughter loves Italian food so she wanted to try it out. It was a really nice crowd on a Saturday night. Our waitress was friendly and kind. I ordered the grilled Caesar salad in which you can really taste the grill on it! and Grambrei Alfredo because it’s my favorite. This was ok, more oily than creamy , I’ve had way better for a better price, but overall not a bad place to go if you’ve never been. I would go back but I would definitely try something different.
