Chaps Pit Beef - Baltimore - Photo album

First time trying Chaps today’s and wow did it impress! The staff was amazing and the food exceeded expectations! Prices are legit as well. It was so good we had to get bulk meat to go! Def will go back for more! The pit beef and sausage… my god! 🤤
So to be fair, this isn't BBQ. It's "Pit Beef". BBQ is low and slow. Pit Beef is basically grilling meat. Hence why the meat isn't fall off the bone. But nonetheless tasty. ⚠️ The regular sized Mac and cheese is an excuse to go buy $9 worth of lottery tickets. It's so basic as to bring into questi
First visit to the new building in the same parking lot. Food great as always. Been a fan since my first sandwich from Gus 25 years ago
This place is AWESOME!!!! I had the beef with fries and gravy. Explored Baltimore then came back a 2ND TIME for just the beef. It was absolutely phenomenal. Try the gold bbq sauce. I don't know what's in it but bottle it and TAKE MY MONEY$$ A must stop when u are in Baltimore. ❤️❤️
I finally made it Chaps Pit Beef! Great service, friendly staff, and the food is great! The meat is delicious, and there are plenty of toppings and drinks! Locals add to the flavor and the prices are reasonable! Kid menu and options are available! I strongly recommend the fries as an add on! There i
Happily, gratefully, and willingly I Indulged in some meaty, chunky, juicy, and wickedly amazing ribs from Chaps Pit Beef paired w/blue cheese and horseradish sauce As the pickiest rib eater - EVER, unless made by me, this 1st time visit allowed me to sign off on my search for the best ribs in Mary
The new location across the parking lot is nice and clean just waiting for the decorations. Food is phenomenal the majority of the time. The only issue I have is that the fries are not always salted which is a hit or miss but when it's a miss its not as tasty. Of all the food the Double D and the
I've been coming to Chaps for years, and it's safe to say that pit beef doesn't get much better than this. The pit beef sandwich grew up on Route 40, so it only makes sense that one of the first pit beef vendors in Baltimore originated in the same industrial corridor. The sandwich I had this go-arou
The sandwich was so yummy. I ordered the Big John which had everything in it but I mostly enjoy the beef. Will definitely try again when I come back to Maryland.
Non pretentious place, almost spartan atmosphere, but the beef is exceptionally good. This place has been featured in many food shows and on The Wire, and it's probably the only 1 restaurant that you MUST try when visiting Baltimore. The pit beef sandwich is their most famous item on the menu.
Got The Raven for lunch today. Did not disappoint. They slice and throw the meat on the grill to warm it and give it one last kiss of smoke. Always add tiger sauce .
Get your beef boy on. Kinda smoked in a pit, you choose the doness - tons of condiments and tv screens to go around. Cool place, clean bathroom and no bums.
I'm not from here, but I heard Chaps was the place to go for the iconic Baltimore sandwich. Let me tell you, I'm so glad I came here. The pit beef was exquisite, and the sauces were fabulous. When I'm back in Baltimore, I will be stopping here.
Stopped to try the pit beef, ended up getting a Reuben. It was the BEST I’ve ever had! Highly recommend!
I've only been here twice. It's a little bit of a drive and I don't like driving in the city. This is a good thing, cause otherwise I would be here every week. I had the Plymouth, burnt ends, minced barbecue and banana pudding. ALL was delicious and worth every calorie. What impressed me was that t
Great place and service even when crowded. Returned a few yrs later. Theyre in a bigger bldg but the food is still great. I order wings, pit beef sandwich, banana pudding and mac salad. The price for the mac salad size is disappointing but all the food was good. It's pricey but your taste bud
