Absolutely amazing! The food was great and the service was great too. The crab dip in the bread bowl was the best I’ve ever tasted. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is in the area looking for a good meal in a nice environment (:

Got the brie platter...deliciois, followed by the crab cakes. Wasn't lump but was still quite tasty. The atmosphere was great and the history and beauty of the building only added to the experience.

The Owl Bar is my favorite place to go in Baltimore. The history, atmosphere, food, drinks and incredibly wonderful staff make this place incredible. Last night's Halloween party was so much fun! Cheers to Sergio!

Been here many times and the consistency of the food and drinks is unparalleled. And everything is tasty. Let's run down the list. Duck Fat Fries: Man they be so crispy. Crispy like you've never seen. Not sure how many ducks go into the recipe but I say a little prayer for them every time. Pizza: Will transport your taste buds to Italy. Not just regular old bapiddy-boopy Italy. Like Italy during a France vs. Italy World Cup match and Italy up 2 - 1 and they be lighting flares and and fighting. That real Italy. Burgers: Damn good. Brought this girl I was talking to here and she got the burger. She left my girlfriend. So many other great items here but I'm getting hungry talking about all this food, good thing I was writing this review driving on my way to Owl Bar!

We were looking for a 20s inspired bar that served food and had my favorite drink. This place was awesome! Not only was Bee's Knees on the menu, it was perfect. We had a chicken sandwich and the duck fat fries, and we were impressed. The music was great, and service was even better! I wish we lived in Baltimore to be able to visit frequently. You have 2 Texans who will definitely visit if we go back.

Food was pretty average but the aesthetic was great! They really went all out for Halloween which made this spooky fall brunch so much fun! I didn’t like the duck fat fries - especially for the upcharge. I’m not sure what about them I didn’t like, just that they kinda grossed me out. I tried the home fries and those were amazing!

Owl Bar is a great place in Mount Vernon for good food and great drinks. It's one of my go-tos if someone asks about a place that feels special and celebratory without feeling stuffy. You could easily meet a group of friends here, a cute date, or a group of coworkers for after-work drinks. Service and hosts here are always pretty busy-- definitely try to reserve your space ahead cause I think it also helps them plan for the night. Now, the interior is INCREDIBLE! The historic building is also a venue space that hosts large events like wedding receptions, but The Owl Bar is tucked in a separate part of the building. Prices for the bar are comparable to most of the neighboring spots, but the food is often hearty and I find it to be more filling (so more bang for your buck here). I have tried and enjoyed their MD Crab Soup, Duck Fat Fries, and house burger (cooked medium-rare)– all were very good! I'm normally cautious with crab soup, as I often find it too salty, but this wasn't too heavy on the Old Bay and had a good amount of crab in it :)

The service was wonderful, the food good. The drinks fell flat, literally! The soda we ordered was flat and the soda in my drink was flat. For a speakeasy, you would not think that drinks would not be the One thing that lets you down. It’s obvious when there’s no carbonation in soda. There are no bubbles and that should’ve been obvious to the bartender otherwise great atmosphere just need to fix the carbonation. I will go back.

I went here for an engagement dinner. The service and atmosphere was absolutely fabulous. I enjoyed most of the food except the hush puppy crab cake thing it was nasty. I Never Had A tart hush puppy before, but maybe it's an acquired taste. All my other food was delicious, though, especially the wings. My entire party had a good time. the waiter and bartender were phenomenal. I wish I knew their names.

To get to the Owl Bar: Enter through the main Belvedere Hotel and go to the left rear part of the lobby to find the small hallway leading to The Owl Bar. There are photos of all of the celebrities that have visited The Belvedere over the years. Follow this hall to the hostess stand. Service was polite and timely. The environment is great if you are looking for a cozy, dim lit environment to share a great meal with friends. The food is affordable and tasty. I would highly recommend the crab hush puppies during brunch. Lots of mimosa variations and a combo of lunch and unique breakfast/brunch options

Pretty good food. Better atmosphere and drinks. My wife and I got wings, duck fat fries, and a burger with two old fashioneds. There were a ton of wings and they were solid! The fries and burger were fine, just not remarkable. The drinks were very well mixed. Super balanced and delicious. And a great value for a cocktail at a bar. Overall, I'd come back here for a drink at the end of the night. I'd just prefer to try other nearby restaurants for dinner beforehand. Entrance is through the Belvedere hotel lobby. Walk through the hallway of photos of former diners back and to the left. If you get lost, there's a hotel employee by the elevator who can direct you.

Great experience until it got busy. We were sitting at the bar and couldn't get any attention once things got busy. We moved onto another lounge.

Been coming here for years. They have great pizza, great drinks, and the atmosphere can't be beat. The service is alwaysa super nice but can be a bit slow on busy nights, but that's basically any resturaunt post-Covid, so can't really knock it there. Easily one of my favorite places in the city.

Looks cool but my shrimp tacos were undercooked (the shrimp was) and the mango salsa was bland. Needs more lime and cilantro. And more salt. Maybe some crema. The brie plate was EXCEPTIONAL. Giving the food a 3 because a 1 for the shrimp tacos and a 5 for the brie plate. Everyone was very nice, great service. Spent $30-50 per person because we had a couple drinks each.

The classic experience that takes you back to a time period when folks were nice and the little things mattered. The Owl Bar offers a rich atmosphere that invites patrons to linger. Service is working on being better and the pizza is good. Not the place to visit if you're just dropping in for a preshow cocktail or bite. Save it for after the show. Side note: they offer green olives as a pizza ingredient. A big plus!

This is my new spot for brunch. Good is amazing. There's bottomless Mimosa, It's so calm. I love the history of the building, and the fact that some of the decor is original. Its like this beautiful hidden gem and I can't wait to go back.

Stopped in for a few drinks since our hotel is close by. Hard to find at first - the bar is inside a hotel, and the sign is tiny. however, bartenders and drinks were great.

This is a beautiful bar with good food and an old world feel. It feels swanky and upscale without being too expensive. I really enjoyed my cocktails and food. The thing that takes it from 5 to 4 stars was our server. I don’t remember his name, but he criticized my friend for her food choice and told her that her preference was weird (when it was not at all unusual). That sort of put a damper on the experience.

Traveling from NJ to see family and stopped for a drink on our way in. WOW. Staff was so unbelievably welcoming and sweet. Drinks were 10/10 I got a Cosmo and my s/o got a mule. Bonus was food network playing in the corner. Wish we lived closer to visit more often! Thanks guys!

A great bar tucked away in an old hotel in Baltimore. Awesome vibe, friendly staff, and most importantly - excellent cocktails. The food is pretty solid too so this is a great spot.
