I had dinner here yesterday and it was a wonderful experience. The NY Strip was supper yummy, tender & juicy. I loved the quaint neighborhood feel. Although I dined alone I really enjoyed myself. It’s now on my list of cool spots to take family, friends & out of town guests.
Super cozy upscale dining. Everything on the menu is scrumptious and the service is awesome! We love their garlic bread, filet mignon, lamb, and clam pasta!
Peter's Inn was a good meal, but holy @#$& is it expensive for what you get.
Our table ordered three steaks at the server's recc since Peter's is "known for them," but I can't say they were worth the price given steaks I've had at other restaurants in the city. The tomahawk was twice as expensive as the NY strip, but only seemed to only have a little.bit more meat. Most of the added cost seems to just be for the bone, so I'd 100% recommend steering clear of that steak if you really are jonesing for one.
I was disappointed by the steak sides in particular because all three were served with cookie cutter steamed veg + pomme puree. Kind of lazy to me given that the plates ranged from $44 -$82. Also, one of the steak plates in particular had an unpleasantly stringy/tough batch of green beans compared to the other two plates. Not sure why that plate was so different. Also, the tomahawk was served with a really random jar of beets...??? 🤔🤷♀️ Still confused about how that fit in.
I personally ordered small plates of fois gras, braised short rib, and nduja with various fixings over toast. Everyone agreed that the short rib was the best plate we got. Jus was to die for. 🤌 Fois gras was good, but the portion of it was really small + was overwhelmed by the sweetness of the marmalade and accompanying fruit. Nduja was pretty tasty, but was kind of difficult to eat due to the hardness of toast they served it on. I'd still recommend it though.
We also ordered the house salad + four slices of the garlic toast that reviews raved on and on about. The salad was well-dressed and refreshing. The bread was good, but I can't say that I found it to be a must-have. This might be blasphemous, but it honestly reminded me of those take-and-bake garlic breads you get in the grocery store. 🤷♀️
We also ordered a martini, Manhattan, and grapefruit margarita. The first two were on point, but the margarita was kinda rough. The service was really pleasant though and the bathroom was interesting. 😆
TL:DR; Get anything but the tomahawk steak and you will probably be okay with the meal (and hit to your wallet 💸💸💸).
The experience at Peter's Inn was fantastic. Our server was relaxed and knowledgeable. She had us feeling great about our choices (not bad choice there!) and provided attentive service. The food was great and the ambiance left me with feeling that I was at a quintessential Baltimore location.
Chef Dale Fields has a great neighborhood gem on his hands. From the incentive menu, to the cozy atmosphere, everything about my wife and I's experience here was second to none. Can really make a great meal out of several drink and food options. Fantastic service and unique drinks. Hope to make a habit of coming here. Highly recommend making a reservation in advance. They were swamped.
Peter's Inn is so Baltimore (no pretense) and the food and drinks are always, always fantastic. Best Manhattan in Baltimore. The garlic bread is iconic. Steak, salad, pot de creme. Do it. I've had many birthday dinners at Peter's, it feels special without being fancy.
We had an amazing dinner here. The Braised Short Rib en Croute blew me out of the water! My partner absolutely loved the One Bite Scallop and the Garlic bread. The cocktails were delightful and the to-go dessert was amazing.
Above and beyond, from service to a dynamically changing menu that keeps it fresh and delicious.
The Cuisine, service and decor were fabulous.
The menus change weekly, so I can't wait to see what is on the menu when I return for a second time.
Clean plate club!

And there fabulous dessert will have to stay a mystery until you check it out one day....
Amazing food and very delicious. The garlic bread is delicious. Also, their dessert is extremely good.I wish they have more options for vegetarian.
A cozy and delicious place for dinner! Peter’s was recommended to us by a local at another restaurant and we were not let down! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The place was clearly a neighborhood favorite with many regulars recognized by staff, but newcomers were made to feel just as welcome! There is a small menu that appears to change a bit each week. The garlic bread is a must! We also enjoyed clam chowder, scallops and steak - all excellent! We ended with a dessert of pot de crème which was amazing! We dined pretty early and the place was filling up when we left. Recommend making reservations or dining early!
Out of this world dinner!! Been wanting to go here since I laid eyes on the garlic bread on Instagram . Everything was delish . Our new top place to get an amazing steak dinner in Baltimore. Will be back !!
Loved Peter’s Inn, the staff was great and the food was amazing! Definitely recommend getting the house salad for two people and two garlic breads. Wish they would include the dressing they use for the salad with the garlic bread. Dip the garlic bread in the salad and it’s so good! Got the 4 oz steaks and glasses of wine. Wow their glasses are big! Definitely recommend!
I enjoyed myself here. The food was delicious, well prepared, and well presented. The atmosphere, while a bit cramped, still made me feel cosy, not claustrophobic.
Absolutely incredible meal and service. Truly some of the best pasta I’ve ever had in my life, and I’ve lived in Italy! The crab dip was insanely good and the pot de creme dessert was rich and delicious. One of my favorite restaurants in the city!
Truly one of the best meals we've had in 2022 so far! The hostess and waitress were lovely and we had a wonderful time!
This spot is so baltimore - handwritten menus that change regularly and the staff is friendly as can be
Don’t leave without an order of garlic bread and salad
Peter's Inn is terrific. Cozy, loud, and uniquely Baltimore. Limited days they're open show this to be a labor of love more than anything else. Get the garlic bread and the salad for sure. The martini service is a big hit with friends, though I prefer the Manhattan one.
Sat next to John Waters last time I was here which really filled up my Living in Baltimore bingo card.
