Amazing food! Small, quaint place that is an experience 10 times its size. People are great, food is great, drinks are great. Simple as that.

Yucca fries are amazing (super filling, too). Their staff is very friendly and customer oriented as well. We placed an order through Facebook for a burger, got a beef patty through miscommunication, and they replaced it no questions asked. Awesome service.

This place just does everything right! I mean spot on. This owner has a vision apparently and executed it well. I almost want my daughter to go to MICA just so I have a reason to eat here more.

On the hill is my favorite coffee shop in Baltimore. Food & drinks are consistently good and reasonably priced. You can't beat $6.50 for a bacon egg & cheese bagel. They have online ordering which makes it super convenient to order coffee on my way to work. They also have those cane sugar sodas on draft which are so good if you are going on a coffee break, I don't know where else you can get a fountain cream soda.

A quaint little gem tucked away on a quiet street corner, this cafe dishes up satiating and savory breakfast fare at a reasonable price point. They have an easy kiosk for self-ordering with a card, the bathroom was clean, well-stocked, and with soap and great warm & hot water for hand washing, their staff was friendly. Their staff was friendly, and let me bring my folded-up bicycle inside. There is some good bicycle parking here in the form of sign poles, although they could use a staple rack or two on one of the sidewalks. I had a chicken, egg & potato breakfast burrito with jack cheese & salsa fresca, and a refreshing black iced tea. You can dine in (May of 2022) and enjoy good air conditioning and heating, or enjoy sidewalk seating.

On the Hill has some of the best sandwiches in the city in my opinion. I usually get the Mosher and it is consistently delicious with amazing meat. Their service is fast and friendly and the coffee is great. Definitely a go-to spot for a high quality and affordable breakfast / lunch!

If you are looking for the best sandwich ever, make your way to On The Hill Cafe in Bolton Hill! I got the Mt. Royal which was delicious if you like smoked turkey, melted cheese grilled to perfection with pickles! They also serve up a refreshing homemade pomegranate lemonade. The Cafe is nice and cozy with sidewalk seating and a alot of great menu options without being overwhelmed. I hear the "smash burger" sandwich are the best, which I will try on my next visit!

My go to spot for cobb salads and corn pancakes. The salad tastes hearty. They give greens generously. The cachapas remind me of home- NYC. Whenever I feel nostalgic and hungry before 3pm I can always count on OTH.

Stopped here for some breakfast. The food was good but very pricey. The interior was nice but they desperately needed blinds on the front end of the restaurant as the sun is unbearable in the summer

Had the pleasure of visiting my amazing Daughter at her College during a beautiful Autumn Weekend in Baltimore! After she gave me the tour of the MICA campus, she insisted that I join her for a Coffee/Tea at her favorite lunch spot "On The Hill!" I found the Café to be very charming and absolutely loved my coffee. The staff was very nice and engaging. They have many delicious specialty Teas & hot drinks as well as sandwiches, burritos & burgers on the menu. They even have Rice & Beans and fantastic "Plantains!" Stop by, sit inside or grab a sidewalk table, order away and enjoy!

Their to-go cup plastic lids are PLA-7 which means you can toss them in the compost if you use a composting service (it will not naturally biodegrade in a landfill though from what I understand). Anyway, love their commitment to being an environmentally friendly establishment. They are a leader in this space.

Oh my the burrito I got was to die for. Excellent food selection. I love that this is a farm to table restaurant. I see some negative reviews about the staff which definitely wasn't my experience. I will be back soon to try more and will update my review if my experience is vastly different. At the very least it is a really cute cafe, clearly popular since you have to fight for a table and the food is delicious!

Food is great! The Bonita salad is my favorite! Coffee is amazing! Staff is quirky, never ignorant, parking is usually pretty easy to find, wish they had more seating...

I was walked to this location on a cool March day by a friend who lived in the area. He asked if I was in the mood for coffee... and I'm ALWAYS in the mood for coffee. He mentioned that there is a corner cafe he wanted me to try. He did warn me that it was very tight inside so we may need to order to then walk around, which was fine. We enter to a completely crowded cafe, which was a plus to me. That shows interest and positive vibes for the company. People want to be there. So, I order a double espresso and my friend ordered a dirty chai latte. No food. Double Espresso = $3.50. Not bad. It was a little small though. Big bang though for your buck. Dirty Chai Latte = $3.75. We were pleased with our quick coffee pitstop on our walk. If I'm back in the area and craving some local roast, I'll be sure to stop in. Thank you for a positive experience. Oh, and super welcoming and friendly atmosphere to all.

It's a tiny gem near MICA. The black bean burgers are as good as their coffee selection. It will be a stop on my Baltimore trips.

Happy to say the last three or so times I've visited the food has been great. Upping from 2/5 to 4/5. Original review: I'm conflicted because I live very close by and would love to see this place succeed, but unfortunately their food can be very hit or miss. Last time I got a bagel egg and cheese sandwich, the bagel was inedible -- it was impossible to bite through. The bagel was obviously way beyond stale. I had to throw it away, which I don't think I've ever done (as I'll eat food that I don't like, but it wasn't even possible to eat this). The previous time I went it was really nice: fresh bagels and fresh chocolate croissants.

Breakfast burrito is top notch. Skip the plant based chorizo. Not my thing, flavor or texture-wise. Burrito was still good. Blueberry muffin could use 18% more blueberries. So tender! Ask for butter. Brownie had an amazing delicate almost milk-chocolate flavor, rich & fudgy, this perfect top layer. I indulged because I didn't finish the burrito. Because of the "faux-rizo." I mean, I don't normally get a blueberry muffin at breakfast and then a brownie for breakfast dessert.
