Good Wings. Good fried wings with good buffalo sauce in a bar setting. We got an order of medium buffalo wings, chef's style that I enjoyed but my husband didn't. He wasn't the biggest fan of the cheesy undertones. We also got a small order of Honey BBQ which helped break up the montonous flavor of a large order of cheesy buffalo wings.

We ordered our wings medium as recommended by many people but as a lover of spicy foods, I might get it hot next time just for a slight kick. If you want to experience the full buffalo flavor, I don't recommend going higher than hot since the spice may overpower the initial flavor.

Others have said it but these are the best wings in Baltimore! I dream about these things! Owner is super cool also.

I'm never even close to the neighborhood for any other reason, but it is worth the adventure for these wings. Believe the hype, or don't, and try for yourself!

The Best Wings I've EVER Had!. A co-worker suggested that I try one of the wings she had for lunch. I obliged. Why not? I was already full from my lunch. OMG! I never ask for seconds when trying someone else's food, but I had to have a second wing. I bought my own 2 nights later. The chef-style wings...I don't know what to say. I am a garlic lover so they fit me exquisitely. They are not your average buffalo wing. I haven't been surprised by food in a long time. I'm glad to say iBar's chef style wings pleasantly surprised me. I'm getting some tonight :)

Awesome buffalo wings!. Okay, what neighborhood bar or family restaurant DOESN'T have what they would refer to as "buffalo wings"?? After reading a positive review in the Baltimore City Paper recently, I decided I just HAD to go and try the wings. As a wing afficionado, these are some of the best wings I've ever had… and I'm no pushover when it comes to wings! (I am debating whether iBar or Bill Bateman's is my number one choice for wings now)

It's a fairly small, yet cozy and comfortable and friendly place. One of the first things that struck me was the ethnic diversity of the clientele. That's something I notice and appreciate whenever I visit new local spots to try out. The owners and bartenders are very friendly, too. You gotta try this place!!

I always go for the hottest wing sauce a place offers, in this case it was a dozen suicidal buffalo wings for $9.50. They weren't drowning in sauce, and the wings remained slightly crispy under the sauce there was. Man oh man, these suckers were hot but not TOO hot! You get a choice of bleu cheese or ranch dressings (who the hell puts RANCH on a buffalo wing?!?), and I would recommend you get an extra portion at 50 cents I think it was. Not because the portion was skimpy, but because you'll need that extra cool creamy goodness to put out the fire!!

I visited this location and was greeted and served by Ti. He was very attentive, I ordered the buffalo garlic Parmesan wings & a loaded baked potato with shrimp and my drink was called a side car (which actually was served in a martini glass). Everything was really good & I had zero complaints. Great job to the cooks & bartenders/servers.

It's unfair Google has an atmosphere rating, because this place is a dive bar by every metric, so I'm compelled to give it 5 stars with the understanding that it is a 5 star dive bar experience. That said, best wings I've ever had in my 42 years. "Chef's style" is the way if you love garlic and the bartender (Ty) is awesome.

The wings here are insanely good. Buffalo hot, chef style. Best wings in town, no question. If you enjoy good buffalo sauce and lots of flavor, they are perfect. I have never enjoyed wings this much before. They are truly the best. I don't go to iBar for the ambience or service-- I go for the wings. They're so good they deserve the 5 stars for the wings alone!

Food is decent and pricing is justified, in my opinion. Service is fair considering the volume of customers (on a case by case basis). Drinks are gooooood (the bartenders DO NOT play). Cool, down to earth atmosphere. Late night menu is fried foods only. Definitely recommend

This was my first experience at iBar. I wanted to try the wings. I got the honey old bay wings and 2 chicken tenders. The wings were huge which I love. I know some people don't like huge wings so keep that in mind. They were fried a little too hard but manageable. The chicken tender were huge and juicy. Joseph was our server and he was very good, gave honest feedback about menu items, and was attentive.

Went to watch an O's game and there was a 90 minute rain delay. So we hung out with the folks sitting at the bar and the bartenders. Spent almost three hours there and enjoyed it all. The wings are AMAZING! You must get the Chef's Choice wings.

The wings were very tasty. The seasoned fries were really tasty. The natural cut plain fries were not good. The last two wings I ate had a rubbery texture. Not sure what that was about. Service was good. Would give 3.5 stars, but Google won't allow it. Lol

Wings are amazing. Chef style for sure. Best wings I've ever had. Can't believe with all the sauces out there and they can't match the flavor and spice of ibar. It's perfect. Need to come out with bottled sauces bc this was a little drive

My friends weren’t exaggerating when they said I’d have some of the best wings in my life. Not only were the old bay wings good, but the mozzarella sticks were as well. My only complaint would be the staff seems to forget about the customers dining at the tables away from the bar. I would still return though!

TLDR: The wings live up to the hype. Both Medium and Hot flavors are tasty and wing size to price ratio is great. Vibe: 3/5. Located right on Maryland Ave in Old Goucher, ibar is a small bar restaurant that includes a half dozen high tops and a sizeable bar for seating. As for location, on the day we visited police had roped off the entire block directly in front of ibar due to a body being found right up the street. This was at 4pm on a sunny Saturday afternoon, so take that into consideration for neighborhood safety. However when we walked into the bar, there were a fair amount of people hanging out as if nothing happened, so either this is a common occurrence, or the wings are THAT good! Service: 5/5. The staff at ibar was wonderful during our visit. Service from both the bar and kitchen was great. Our food and drink orders came out perfectly done and in record time. There was a small hiccup when it came to paying the bill, as the waitress gave us the wrong tab, however it was quickly resolved. Food: 4/5. Top tier buffalo wings! Ibar claims to use the same wing recipe as Anchor Bar in Buffalo, NY, which many consider to be the founders of the dish. During our visit, we opted to try both their medium and hot sauced wings. You are also given the choice for level of fried doneness per each wing order, a major plus for those who like extra crunch (me). Both sets of wings came out meaty, piping hot and thoroughly sauced. Both sauces had a great flavor balance between heat, vinegar and savoriness. The spice level jump between medium and hot is decent, with hot having a substantial lingering afterburn. Upon request, we were given a sample of the hottest level sauce at Ibar, the inferno, which has added capsaicin extract to the sauce to take it to the hottest of hot. Definitely not for the faint of heart. As for the drinks, the bar has a nice selection of local drafts as well as a well priced cocktail menu, which includes the Baltimore staple fresh squeezed orange crushes. Overall, Ibar is a solid contender for best wings in Baltimore. In my opinion, I prefer longtime favorite Kisling's wings slightly over Ibar due to the more vinegar forward sauce and ginormous wing size, but only by a blonde hair.

Many of us who spend time in Baltimore have long familiarity with this locally known restaurant with a sports bar vibe. On a recent Friday night, my friend and I enjoyed classic whole wings, friend cheese sticks, a pitcher of IPA, and other food goodies while watching the US Open semi finals match. Upstairs was full at our late dinner time arrival but the downstairs section had a few tables open for choosing. Naturally we made to face one of the large screens to choose our favorite sports for the night. The Baltimore Orioles were featured but other options were available. Our beer arrived cold; the food, the service, and the atmosphere were all good as expected from previous times there. Security is on site; many customers or regulars. Street parking was easy that night directly by the entrance. Go check it out!

I've been meaning to try this place for years. I finally made the trek, 3 mile scooter ride. Every callous was worth it and my lips are thankful, even if they are on fire. The wings coated in a heavy dose of parmesan and garlic are one of the most delicious foods I've unabashedly shoved into my face ever. Go for the wings, stay for the burn.

Ever since Dead Freddie’s changed ownership and no longer has the #3 hot sauce I have been on a quest to replace what, in my opinion, was the best wing experience in Baltimore. (I spent many a Tuesday there in from the 90s until a few years ago eating twenty out of that brown bowl of deliciousness!!!) Since that dark day the wings died I’ve tried lots of places. Many were really good! Some were not so good. And a few were just plain bad! I never leave bad reviews because I believe that 1) my opinion is just my opinion and not not the word of god - everyone might not have the same taste, and 2) everyone can have a bad day and I’d rather say nothing than trash a place that might have just been off their game for a minute - why be a jerk? All that being said… (that was A LOT, wasn’t it?) my quest to find the best wings in Baltimore (and maybe Earth) is OVER! After nerding out on the internet, cross-referencing every existing “best wings in Baltimore” list I could find, the only place I had not tried that ranked consistently on every list was iBar. So we went… George greeted us and sat us at the bar. I told him about my mission and he suggested chef style Buffalo hot - which was exactly what I thought I wanted after reading all the reviews. He was confident that my quest was over. I was feeling good about the way things were going… My awesome wife got a turkey rachel - which she loved. It was too big for her to finish and she ended up taking half home. Then… I heard a bell ring and George walked out from the back with a plate stacked with Chef style Buffalo hot wings. They looked amazing! They smelled even better! - but the ultimate test is the taste. I picked up a drummy - it was cooked to perfection! Super-crispy on the outside and tender and juicy inside. The flavor - fantastic! Hot, but not too hot, the combination of garlic and Parmesan and buffalo sauce managed to put me in my feelings… I actually got a little emotional. I’ve found my new spot! My new favorite wings! Plus, as an added bonus, everyone was super cool (employees and customers) We met some amazing people and it was a great hang! Definitely going back often! If you’ve a wing fan I strongly recommend you give iBar a try!

One of my go to spots for great drinks and food. The wings here are always spectacular. They have a pretty nice menu and awesome lunch and daily chef specials that are delicious. There is a leak in the ceiling of the basement dining area to the right which poured on my hair, purse and outfit during our last visit. The staff was very apologetic although the manager did not come see us personally they comped our meal for the inconvenience. I wont let one bad experience ruin this place for me lol I'll just sit at the bar next time. Definitely check this place out.
