Amazing service. Amazing surrounding. Amazing menu. Amazing food. The people are so friendly and know everything about each and every item on the menu, including the wine. Our waiter was Scott and he was awesome. Gotta try it!

AMAZING FOOD! Seriously, the best meal that I have had in a very long time! We had an artichoke francesce appetizer, which is the best thing that I have ever eaten in a restaurant! Our server was also very knowledgeable of the menu, what food there was, and how it is prepared. We will DEFINITELY be eating here again!!!!
Barra Sushi. I have only been upstairs at the sushi bar restaurant. It's really good sushi, a little overpriced I would say, but I think the owner is going for a more upscale South Beach vibe. I had a few drinks there, and they need to learn how to make a cocktail! It's not just straight alcohol, guys. It's gotta be sweet. I'll be back though...
Food & service ok. Only issue is hard floors, walls, ceilings, tables & chairs are excellent reflectors of ALL sounds! NOISY! Can' barely hear people sitting at your table! Try to go at less busy times.
Outstanding. Really great restaurant. The service was impeccable felt like a celebrity the place was crowded but the staff was really in sync. The marinara sauce was absolutely the best. Glad they served the homemade rolls, I sopped up the sauce on the bread wow! Had the fresh catch grouper oreganto perfectly cooked with a wonderful crusted top. My friend had the Shrimp diablo and love it. We split a tiara misu and can't wait to go back for more. Great service, outstanding food. You can't go wrong!!!
DON'T MISS. Wow, what a great find. This place was spotless and the decor was unexpected for the area, felt more like South Beach. The staff was very warm and friendly, and the food was amazing. We started with a crab cake in a lobster bisque sauce, thought we were in Maryland. Then our entrees my husband had a veal francese, that was so tender he cut it with a fork, I had their eggplant rollitini, and it was out of this world... The desserts looked good, but with the portion sizes we didn't have room. Don't miss this gem.
Best Italian in high country. Loved this place!! Best food and service hands down. Seafood was soooo fresh and pizza best I've ever had. Highly recommend this bistro to anyone coming to this area. Portions large.. Be ready to take some home. Atmosphere was nice and beautifully decorated. Don't miss this culinary treat!!

Nice restaurant in the Banner Elk area in NC mountains. This place has multiple rooms with each room a different theme. One is a romantic, more formal room, next is a wine room, one is a tasting room and one is a Bistro style room where we eat.
Menu in all rooms are the same except for the tasting room.
We went with two options, the calamari salad and I went with the Chicken Parmigian over veggies.
August, our waiter was extremely attentive, and the manager Felton kept checking to make sure all was going well. The food was good and fresh. Was it the best I have had? No, however, for a place up in the mountains with such a great menu, wine list, and service, this place gets 5 stars from me. I think my wife would have asked for the calamari sautéed.
but it came fried, and we went with it. nice and fresh! One thing I missed was the outdoor seating option, which we skipped as these FL folks were too cold.
Came here on a Saturday night. Was able to make reservations that afternoon. We were seated right away. It did take some time for us to be seen by our waiter, but he had a large party which he was taking care of at the time. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the Sorrento Eggplant. The sauce was wonderful. The garlic knots were delightful. Not horribly expensive, especially in a tourist town.
Definitely we enjoyed the time! Delicious crab cake, meatball, calamari with an amazing wine. The server did an excellent job, sadly I don’t remember his name 😞

Very good atmosphere, the lunch menu is small, but with very good quality. The tomato sauce is fantastic very fresh, and reminded me of the ones I had in Rome.
Dog friendly seating. Gluten-free options. The waiter was super helpful, and everything we ordered was really good.
Seated immediately upon arrival! From start to finish a great dinner and experience! Everyone's dish (for 11 people) was perfect! A fabulous dinner for my child's 16th birthday!!!!!
We ate at this restaurant while attending an event in Linville. The food was very delicious and cooked very well. What’s more, the chef accommodated a custom request which also turned out amazing!! I enjoyed the Crab cake as an app and the Frutti De Mare for my entre (along with a couple glasses of wine). Highly recommend if you’re in the area!
Food was good, service was great. The atmosphere was something from another era. I expect Fran Sinatra or Tony Bennett to sit down with us (which I would have loved!!!)
This place is fantastic! My experience at this restaurant was an event. From the bartenders to wait staff, if I could give this 10 stars instead of 5 I would. The food was the best Italian food I’ve had since I can remember. Even from being originally from New York and eating in many places in Little Italy, this place is at the very top. Thank you for this wonderful dining experience!
Had a delicious meal at Sorrento's Italian Bistro - Trout and Veal Franchise, served with mashed potatoes and a medley of fresh squash. Dessert was a creamy Cheesecake with Raspberry drizzle. Our server Ann was a joy, professional and knowledgeable regarding menu choices. Hope to go back again when we are in Banner Elk
We really enjoyed Sprrentos. We loved the outdoor patio. The Pizza was great, but the wife LOVED the Clams and Pasta. Really great spot!
Dined here on a whim & was completely surprised at how extravagant everything was. We ordered the chicken parmigiana & a dinner special only available in our fancy room of Grouper. The food did not disappoint, although both proteins were a bit dry. Our service was outstanding and I would definitely recommend!
Amazing food, huge portions. The staff was very attentive, the manager was very friendly and accommodating. We will be back every year when we visit! 100% would recommend!
What a dynamite meal that we had. Both the chicken francese and chicken marsala were outstanding. The chicken was pounded out, perfectly cooked and tender. The mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables were excellent. The atmosphere was comfortable and classy. And the service was excellent.

We ate there last night and Caleb, our bartender, was absolutely fantastic. Top tier service and phenomenal conversation. The food and wine were also incredible.
I highly recommend the Artichoke Francese. Caleb arranged another reservation for us this evening but unfortunately my husband doesn’t feel well so we aren’t going to be able to dine there again this trip, but all in all, I can not recommend Sorrento’s enough. Caleb truly made our experience memorable and we will be back!
