I would really give it 4.5 stars. We were pleasantly surprised with how good it was. And the live singer they had - well I was skeptical. That is hard to pull off. But I have to say that I was a real fan at the end. He did an amazing job. He is worth seeing. There is a Vegas lounge feeling since all of the tables are right by the bar, so there isn't a separate dining room. And we were hoping for Italian, and there was only 1 special pasta dish with olives, so if you want Italian, go to the standard Sorrentos downstairs. This menu is more steak, seafood, and sushi. We asked if we could order pasta from the other restaurant (in the same bldg) and we were told no, which was fine. The food we got was all very good. The foccaccia bread was great too. They have a special dessert guy doing flamed desserts, which is cool. Then they did say we could have desserts from the downstairs menu! Oh well.
Can't wait to come back. We were killing time in Banner Elk and sat at the bar on Saturday night. Enjoyed wonderful music and drinks. Tried the Roasted Sweet Pepper Appetizer. A house salad and the seabass. We watched multiple tableside desserts and coffees be made.
Loved our evening at Chefs Table. I had one of the daily specials. Drinks were delicious. Place was pack. Definitely need a reservation especially on weekends. Safe was attentive. They had live music while we were dining. Made our dining even better.
I've been here twice with my family, and I wasn't disappointed. This Is a very formal restaurant and the employees and staff always male sure you are having the best dining experience. We weren't rushed, and I'm not lying when I say that the food was the BEST by far I've ever eaten in my life. Don't even get me started on the desserts. They put on an entire show in the restaurant while they make you dessert, so if you grab dinner here one night, make sure you get a dessert because you won't forget your experience. The desserts and food is just something out of this world and I strongly recommend this place especially if your have a special occasion its a really fun time!
I need more stars for the service. The great service made the entire experience awesome. William was amazing he was friendly and he continued to check and see if we needed anything. The crab cake was delicious just right and the portion was enough that I was full eating an appetizer
Me and my wife love this place!!! Great service and food, wonderful atmosphere .Felix has made us some awesome desserts with a great show. We eat there frequently and it's always perfect. 👍
Such a nice find in Banner Elk. Great service especially Ally and Rachel. Food and wine just amazing. Our group had a nice evening here with veal, shrimp, and chicken dishes. Recommend.
Food and drinks were great. Service was a bit slow but they were very crowded. Only nit was our daily special salads were advertised as having artichokes but didn't. If they ran out they should tell you!
Our server was Gabby & she was excellent. We here are for a couple of days & decided to stop by for a nicer meal. We ordered 3 courses and dessert after & everything was amazing. No complaints what so ever. Felix seated us and made our Flambé dessert in front of us & he was absolutely wonderful and full of energy. As I mentioned we are only here for a few more days but this place was good enough to come back a second time during our short stay. The food & service was excellent 10/10
Exceeded all expectations! Can not tell you of anything negative, all positive to the max! Felix with the flambeau at the table was an experience worth waiting until the end of the meal for. Highly recommended!
