My husband and I stopped in two times on our three day trip to the mountains. Service was great - we sat at the bar both times, had a few drinks and grabbed some food. Food was good both times (chicken sandwich & pup pretzel). We loved our bartenders both times & wish we had gotten their names! Definitely suggest :)
Awesome evening, stopped in for one beer ended up having chicken wings and more beer. We happen to be sitting next to the owner Dave and his food distributor Blake, They made us feel so welcome with conversation and many laughs. Cati our bartender was awesome. Jimmy the cook even made time to come out and meet us. The chicken wings were the best we've ever had. We are returning for dinner tonight. We live in Florida and on vacation, because of this establishment we definitely will return to the area.
Lilly was an amazing bartender and she is the reason why I ordered the tavern mac melt. It was amazing!! I'm definitely going back. The atmosphere was great... Everyone was really nice.
The food was really good! The atmosphere was cozy. Our server was very friendly and helpful!
Busy and fast paced, the server was friendly and observant. We ordered the brussels sprouts OMG..they were amazing. I honestly could have eaten 3 bowls!!! LOL For my entree, I had the Mountain Melt with tater tots...again...so good. My bf had the shrimp skewers. They were very good as well.
My wife and I are vacationing in Beech Mountain and decided to visit for dinner. It’s just a short drive from where we are staying. The staff was friendly and it’s seems to be a nice little sports bar. My wife ordered the fish and chips which she said was good. I got the Boss Burger (Cheeseburger with bbq sauce and onion rings) with fries and it was pretty good. Nice place to visit for lunch or dinner if you are in the area.

Was told to seat ourselves upon entering and chose a spot inside. There’s plenty of seating in two dining rooms, a bar, and an outdoor patio. Classic burger and mushroom Swiss burger were solid. Staff had good service and seemed to all be friends which is always nice. Small selection of draft beer, some local choices. We did not have a long wait for food and enjoyed our order.
The food was amazing. We stayed locally and were told to try it by a local. Very welcoming ❤️
The pretzel is big enough to spit for 2 people.
This is a great little place. Lots of different food. For example I got a Blacken Mahi Sandwich, my daughter enchiladas, and my son a footlong like I have never seen before. All of the food is was good. It was dog and kid friendly on the patio and had a bar/grill kinda feel. And our waitress was awesome.
Came in late on a Sunday. Bartenders were friendly and helped me decide on an entree. They recommended the cheesesteak, burgers, and fish & chips.
I got the fish and chips. It didn’t come with any tartar sauce initially, but thankfully they had some in the kitchen. It was really good.
