Good breakfast spot. Lots of seating and private handicap parking. Dog friendly with outdoor seating. Food was okay, not too spectacular. The Maine blueberries were delicious. The chorizo hash was a little dry and lacked some flavor. Potatoes tasted like plain potatoes. Overall friendly and quick service.

We went here for breakfast both days we were in Bar Harbor before heading to Acadia. The pancakes are fantastic — order a table cake, for sure. They are not your typical fluffy cake, but a crispy, delectable buttery heavenly hot cake. Kit’s Burrito is fire, a more substantial breakfast option. The sourdough toast is excellent. The large orange juice is fresh squeezed and amazing. Service is exceptional. Highly recommend.

Amazing breakfast spot! Maybe the best pancakes I have had- ever - they are unique in that they are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside- perfect! Delicious eggs Benedict’s as well! Service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance is super cute inside or outside.

I was in Acadia for vacation and ventured over to Bar Harbor early one morning to do some souvenir shopping and to get some Lobster Eggs Benedict at a local restaurant. I picked Cafe This Way because it was a little bit outside of the crazy downtown but still close. It was a beautiful morning and they had lots of outdoor seating. I was alone and was seated quickly. The guy who was the host was super friendly and gave me choice of seating. My waiter was quiet and friendly, kept my coffee filled and was prompt. The food arrived in good time and was delicious. I got the Lobster Eggs Benedict and it was cooked to perfection and the sauce was not overpowering. It was everything I had hoped for! The Bloody Mary was pretty good as well. They have a very thorough menu with lots of good breakfast drinks. The place has a very laid back casual friendly vibe. I highly recommend having breakfast here when in Bar Harbor!

Very crowded in the morning and love the ambiance. It’s like have coffee in a book shop. We thought we were following a sign but it’s actually the cafes name. The wait is short for us. We just wanted some coffee and end up with some food here too. The service is amazing and great atmosphere.

Great stop in downtown Bar Harbor. The corned beef hash was great, solid bloody Mary too. The star was the pancakes though. Somewhere between a crepe and a standard pancake, there were crispy edges and fluffy centers. So good.

By far, the best breakfast in Bar Harbor. This place was tucked back, so we almost missed it. I'm glad we didn't. The staff are all super friendly and were always checking in on us. I ordered the lamb hash with eggs and Hollandaise sauce. Such robust flavors combined perfectly. The lamb made all the difference over corned beef. It also came with a fresh slice of sourdough, which seemed like they baked it there. My girlfriend got the Monte cristo sandwich. The sandwich was very large, which was nice because she couldn't finish it so I got to. The ham in the sandwich was at least a 1/4 in thick, but it worked very well. If you're getting breakfast in Bar Harbor and cab only choose 1 spot, this is the spot.

This spot is a top choice for breakfast in Bar Harbor, and we strongly suggest a visit. We arrived at 8 AM and were promptly seated, but as we left, the queue had grown significantly, so an early arrival is advisable. We opted for the Cafe Monte Cristo and Mandala, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed. The service was swift and pleasant, with our food arriving promptly. The portion sizes were ample, especially the satisfyingly heavy Monte Cristo Sandwich. Additionally, we placed a takeout order for the Burrito and were delighted by its delicious flavors. Everything on the menu is good, but the blueberry pancakes are incredible, and I say this as someone who doesn't like blueberry pancakes. The blueberries are small and tart, like wild blueberries. And the pancakes are served with real maple syrup, which makes all the difference. I'd recommend the Country Breakfast and upgrading the pancakes to blueberry pancakes. It's the right amount of savory food and sweet food to make a full breakfast.
