After a long day of hiking at Acadia National Park, we found this wonderful spot to unwind and relax. It had come highly recommended, and we decided to have dinner here. What impressed us right away was their user-friendly website, offering online reservations and a wait-list feature that kept us informed. We only had to wait about 20-25 minutes before our table was ready. For our main courses, we opted for the Lobster Feast and Lost Lobster, which included clam chowder and lobster bisque. While the food was good, it didn't quite reach the level of excellence. However, what truly stole the show was the blueberry pie with ice cream. We enjoyed it so much that we returned the next day solely for another slice of pie. Without a doubt, this place serves the best blueberry pie in Bar Harbor, having tried a few others. We wholeheartedly recommend indulging in their delectable blueberry pie. IG: journey_man16

I took my family to Side Street Cafe in Bar Harbor. We had an awesome time there. This place is great for kids. They gave my girls Play-Doh to play with while we waited for our food. It kept them entertained while we enjoyed the atmosphere. The food at Side Street Cafe was fantastic! We tried the haddock tacos. The fish was soft and tasted great. I also tried a spicy margarita. It was the best one I've ever had! It was spicy but not too hot, and it tasted great with the tacos. So, if you're in Bar Harbor, you should visit Side Street Cafe. It's a fun place for families, and the food is great. Try the tacos and the spicy margarita!

Excellent and quick service. The waitress even mentioned the price of the specials. I got the chicken caprese salad and substituted it with shrimp they did not even charge me extra for the shrimp! The fries were well seasoned and the calm chowder was thick and delicious. The blueberry margarita was strong and tasty. My husband got the burger it came with chips and a lot of avocado. The burger was okay but the rest was very good.

This was our first time here. Bar Harbor was a hopping place and we did the online wait list, started at #44 and our wait ended up being 40 minutes. The process was easy, and now the food part.... wait for it.... food was awesome. The service was also exceptional, from the hist, to our waitress to the food runners. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Great spot for dinner and drinks. The lobsters rolls are full of luscious meat and served chilled. Their margaritas are good and they offer a variety of flavors; mango, blueberry and more. They have plenty of seating indoor and out. The bar is also a great place to pull up a seat and have some drinks/food. Checkout their happy hour specials!

We got the sweet potatoes fries which were hot, crispy and salted well, although cut way too small. The honey mustard served with the fries was seriously incredible! My boyfriend got the Cowboy Mac and he said it was good. I got the lobster roll with a side salad instead of chips. I think $40 for a lobster roll was extremely expensive for what it was. It was served on a thin slice of plain white grocery store bread. It would have been nice if it was on a brioche bun for that price. It has butter on it but no mayo. It was slightly soggy and falling apart by the end. I will say though, they do put a GENEROUS amount of lobster meat in there, so that contributes to the price. Overall, I’ve had a better lobster price at a better price in Boston, but this place is pretty good.

Had my 1st Lobster roll here and I got hooked (fisherman humor). What a great find. Do yourself a favor and get off the main drag and go to the Side Street Cafe. Nice wait staff, good amount of seating, and excellent food. Crab dip was so good that I forgot to take a pic before eating half of it..

This was our first bite of food during our 2-day stop in Bay Harbor, and it was really good overall. Minor quibbles include a slightly under-seasoned lobster mac & cheese and server who seemed scattered and disinterested. However, the apple cider margaritas and the seafood dip were very tasty. I would definitely try some other items on the menu on a future visit.

WOW! 🤩 This is the #1 BEST LOBSTER ROLL in Bar Harbor …so we HAD to try it! It did not disappoint!!!! It was SOOOOO GOOD!!! Anton, our server was amazing! Super fast service and we got right in! The atmosphere was inviting and the cocktails and mock tails were so delicious!!!! Do not leave without trying the Cadillac Fries!!!!

Their lobster rolls are the best. All the sides we tried were okay not great. Mac and cheese was a bit tasteless but salt and pepper helped. And the fries needed to be crispy, they were too limp for my liking! I'll definitely be back for the lobster rolls on their own though. Try to avoid sitting outside... A delivery truck stops every day at lunch and all you can taste is diesel fumes while they leave the engine run for 10 mins.

I tried Side Street on the suggestion of the crew working at Acadia GEMS. Best choice for a quick dinner after a day of hiking! I enjoyed it so much that I went back the next day with a friend for dinner and then the retreat group that we met up with selected Side Street as our lunch stop on Sunday. So yes, I ate at Side Street 3 times in 4 days! No regrets!! The happy hour menu is on point! But also, the Cadillac Fries and Lost Lobster platter were both first class! 12 out of 10 stars!

Fun, popular place to grab a casual lunch with outdoor dining options that are per-friendly! Their lobster stew was the best thing I ate in Maine during my stay, their French fries were the best we’ve tried in Maine, and their chicken salad wrap is as on point with fresh vegetables. I got a virgin blueberry mojito that was refreshing, pretty, and tasty - highly recommend!

We loved blueberry infused lemonade. My shrimp taco was flavorful, shrimp was juicy and delicious. My husband loved his haddock sandwich. As so many people recommended blueberry pie, we ordered one with ice cream. That was our downhill for this meal, it was just too sweet for us. All in all, we enjoyed our food, but we would stay away from blueberry pie next time.

Extremely cute and allergy friendly restaurant! If you love margaritas, they have amazing ones including blueberry! My personal favorite thing here was the blueberry mint lemonade; to die for. They have great lobster rolls (with gluten free and dairy free options) and absolutely delicious tacos. Super friendly staff and loved the outdoor space.

Awesome happy hour and dog-friendly restaurant! We come here every time we visit Bar Harbor and LOVE their lobster dishes. The margaritas are famous for a reason and the staff is very personable. It’s the Cheers bar of Bar Harbor.

We love this lovely cafe in Bar Habor. The bartender is very nice and friendly. Nice ambiance. Food is good, we really appreciate their hot blueberry pie served with ice cream. However, the lobster stew is a little bit salty. Highly recommend to take a drink here when you come by.

Price- moderate/high ($20-30 per plate) Quality - 4/5 Atmosphere - 4/5 (modern) This place was nice and had outdoor seating. Friendly waitress and attentive but not overbearing service. The fries were delicious! Parking is paid across the street. $4 an hour.

My parents and I just got into town after a long day of flying and driving and came here for dinner. The food was amazing but I especially loved the blueberry pie, it was my number 1 favorite piece of pie the entire trip. They had live music going on and it was just a perfect dinner.
