Once you find a parking space, it's all uphill from there when dining at Jeannie's Great Maine Breakfast! There was a small wait, but there is plenty of window shopping and people watchng to keep you busy. The staff is definitely a step above other places that we visited. They provided efficient, friendly service and new their stuff. As far as the food the blueberry pancakes were awesome. I tried the strawberry rhubarb preserves on part of my pancakes and I loved it. You must try the preserves! Hubby had eggs with biscuits and gravy and made a special mention of how good the biscuits were. The atmosphere was Saturday morning hustle and bustle of a small Maine town, which was exactly what were looking for! If in Bar Harbor, stop here for Breakfast!.

My family really enjoyed this spot! We visited 2x the week we were in Bar Harbor. Friendly staff, the kitchen was singing 🤣 and the food was delightful! The strawberry rhubarb spread was addictive and another member of our party states the Blueberry pancakes were the best they ever had!

This breakfast spot is the best!!! Indoor and outdoor dining. Our server was super fun, informative, kind, and outgoing!! The food was superb! Great location downtown Bar Harbor. Kind staff. About a 45 minute wait on Sunday at 10:00 am. We went across the street for a latte to drink while we waited.

Jeannie’s Great Maine Breakfast is located in downtown Bar Harbor, Maine. Open early for sunrise viewers. We were roaming Bar Harbor Town and had to leave for NJ before 1 PM. We have not had anything since morning so decided to have breakfast. it was 11 AM and not sure what option we had - we explored a few restaurants but breakfast time had passed. but glad we found this Maine breakfast - breakfast time was till 1 PM (but check out the timing -as everything in this town is seasonal) We got the table and ordered Blueberry pancakes (3 pieces) - Garden Omelet Western Omelet given all the eggs, meats, and dairy in a traditional American breakfast. omelets were quite good with wheat slices of bread... side items are at the table. Service was excellent and friendly, prices were reasonable, and the waiting time was short too. The restroom was clear and also the changing station for babies with all the stuff - good thing...(not something I see in restrooms frequently) As they said their breakfast was BEARYLICIOUS...

Great breakfast spot in Bar Harbor. We had the blueberry pancakes and the pot roast delight (pot roast with eggs and home fries). Everything was so tasty but the real star of the show is their sauces! The blueberry sauce on the pancakes is an absolute winner (you do need to add it on to the order) and the strawberry rhubarb sauce that comes on the table was a great balance of tart and sweet! This place gets busy quickly so don’t forget to sign up for the waitlist on their website!

Overall experience was great. Good food, staff was pretty helpful, but seemed just a hint hurried. Wife and I both had breakfast sandwiches. The were large and well prepared. They had some type of strawberry rhubarb jelly in a serving jar on the table. When I asked for strawberry jelly, the server just pointed to the jar. It was not sweet like "regular " jelly.

Had a pretty decent breakfast here. I ordered one of the specials, which was salmon on an herb biscuit with home fries and eggs. The eggs and homefries were great, no complaints there. Sandwich was good, but could have been great. The salmon and cream cheese went together perfectly. The tomato was fresh, and so was the spinach, but there was a bit too much on there. My main complaint was the herb biscuit. The herbs overpowered everything. I ended up just discarding the biscuit and eating everything else. Overall, I was pleased with the meal and would go back again. The pancakes looked amazing.

Food was good. Banana nut pancakes were really good.. yogurt with fruit and granola was ok..egg with home fries was good ..the stuffed french toast wasnt as good as i hoped..i think it was a bit under cooked in the middle. Like soggy toast. I know it was busy but they didnt check to see if we needed anything I Would go back though..

We were warmly greeted at the door and our phone number was taken so they could text when our table was ready. The breakfast was delicious and filling! The lobster omelet was perfection, and the blueberry pancakes I split with my mom were great to top off the meal. Make sure to definitely add the real maple syrup 😋
