Well known restaurant in downtown Bar Harbor. Reservation was ready on time, and we enjoyed a great meal with the family during peak August vacation season. The layered Ahi Tuna Poke bowls were truly delicious, we all sampled a bite, and it earned high marks. My Atlantic Seafood Pie was a delight, with a Volcano bowl drink to share. We liked it so much here, that we came back twice. Pro-tip, make a reservation ahead of time, they told walk-ins it would be a 4 hour wait. Great staff working hard to get it done! Will certainly return on our next trip.

Definitely a touristy spot in good location for cruise ship passengers. The food tasted good. The atmosphere was great. My wife's lobster stew and fish and chips were hot and tasted great. Unfortunately, my New England clam chowder as well as my haddock were served lukewarm at best. The haddock portion was small given the price.

This place is a different world inside! It has a specific aura that energizes you the moment you feel it. We were pleased by the drinks 🍹 Also the food was too good! We had a concern that the server was too occupied by her duties and couldn’t attend us quick, although I wouldn’t blame her for it. Rest assured, the place is a high recommendation for folks looking to dine in Bar Harbor.

We went all out tonight; got the blueberry ale, steamer clams, the big lobster bake, and lobster roll. Honestly, I probably didn't get the best lobster--mine arrived with one big leg falling off the main body and the lobster seemed to have softer shells. However, our overall experience is quite awesome; our female server (I forgot her name) was awesome. She's very attentive and made our dining experience very enjoyable from the beginning to the end.

My favorite meal in bar harbor. I had the shrimp and scallop pasta. We also had the sweet chili calamari. Both were delicious and I would go here again in a heartbeat. Long wait. We were told 90 minutes for a table so we shopped and walked around town for an hour. When we came back after 60 minutes there was a spot at the bar so we just ate there instead of waiting another 30 min for a table. Bartender wasn’t over friendly but the food and atmosphere made up for it. The other dishes my friends ordered were fish and chip and the lobster pasta. We all enjoyed our meal.

For a party of 4 at 6pm on a Wednesday night we had to make reservations and the earliest they had was over 2 hours later at 8:15pm. This is definitely a tourist spot. The waiter was excellent but the food was just OK in my opinion. I ordered the MDI burger well done and it came out medium. My friend said the meat lovers pizza was great. Another friend said the lobster roll was good but it wasn't a lot of lobster for the price. It was a cool place to visit but I won't be in a rush to go back, it's just too busy for me.

My boyfriend and I ate here back in October, was greeted by 2 hostesses (1 male and 1 female), giggling about my last name before the girl brought us to our table… it was rude and childish. I don’t think restaurants should hire immature middle schoolers to greet their customers! Anyways, the food here was absolutely amazing, no complaints on that. Our waiter was attentive… we decided to come back the night after the food was soo good! Definitely a busy place, if you don’t book your table online hours ahead of time you will not be able to get in at all… we waited until 6pm one night and got lucky bc they had one reservation left for 8:30pm

This place gets super busy. Make a reservation. The service is friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The vibe is fun. We ordered the calamari 4.5/5, the haddock and chips 4.5/5, scallops and lobster linguine 4.5/5, and the blueberry pie 5/5. Good drinks, beer, and wine choices.

Was able to be seated early for our reservation. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. EXCELLENT mussels and haddock sandwich/fish and chips. The gluten free items were incredible. Sweet potato fries and the cranberry sauce was delicious! Extremely satisfied. Annemarie was the best. Margaritas were great.

This place was phenomenal, and I will happily drive 2 hours from Augusta to eat here as often as I can. I have Celiacs disease, and it's tough to find pizza that I can trust not to make me sick, while still tasting like PIZZA. I tried two of their pizzas (I made one of my own, and their lobster, smoked bacon and jalapeno pizza was sooooooo good). The crust was so soft and not hard to chew at all, and tasted like actual crust. I've never ever had gluten free crust that tasted like that, or held up so well to reheating. I was also able to have fried calamari since their fryer is dedicated gluten free!! I try to avoid fried food as much as possible, but I couldn't resist their calamari. It was exactly what good calamari should taste like!! So tender and crispy, and the chili sauce was delicious! Our server was great, very knowledgeable on Celiacs, and gave us top notch service. We went on a very busy Saturday, so we were squeezed into a small corner, which is why I gave 4 stars in the category section for that, but that was not uncomfortable and we weren't bothered, we just had to adjust to people walking close by. I can't wait to eat here again. I had such a hard time choosing what I wanted to order, so I guess I'm just going to have to keep coming back to try everything!
