Wow! Talk about an incredible sandwich...This little place makes magic between 2 pieces of bread! My boyfriend and I were looking for a quick bite before boarding the Lulu Lobster boat tour. My dad told me about a place on the docks off West St that had great blueberry pie that they placed in the window. We walked in and they had a great menu. I chose the tuna sandwich and the lovely lady taking our order recommended I add avocado. It was a basic white albacore tuna salad but it (when combined with the arugula and avocado on their bulkie soft bun) was mind blowing! My boyfriend ordered the Lobster BLT & he loved it as well. They both came with a pickle & a bag of chips. There were a few tables in the cafe, but they were full so we sat and ate our sammies at the picnic tables out front of the little cafe. It was the least expensive (and one of the best) meals we had the whole time we were in Bar Harbor. I couldn't leave without a piece of their homemade blueberry pie. It was 1/2 the price of other places on West St and it tasted fantastic! They topped off my fresh brewed iced tea (also super delicious) and we were on our way. I would highly recommend this place!

Our family was staying in Bar Harbor on vacation. Discovered Sunrise Cafe in our search for quality take-out breakfast sandwiches. Very happy with our sausage egg and cheese, pastries, good coffee. Very friendly service that brightened our morning. They got our order out to us fast so we could head off to Acadia state park. We'll be back, great job team!

Stopped for a coffee and breakfast, and it was a good choice. We had the cheese & ham sandwich and a strawberry&nutella crepe. The latte was perfect for the choice we did. The staff was really friendly and nice to meet as we all come from Europe.

lunch here at the sunrise. Café was fantastic. Friendly service and staff, as well as really good food. I think it’s a little bit pricey because of its location, but well worth it. It’s really small so it gets overcrowded quick but if you catch it at the right moment, this place can be a real gem. this is located right at the docks for the departure point of the whale watch company’s nature cruises. So if you get there early, you can grab a hot chocolate and a sandwich.

Best cinnamon roll I've had in a while. The crepes are made fresh. Had a bacon egg and cheese crepe and it was delicious.

This is a gem that hides in Bar Harbor. Fresh baked goods made on site... great prices... wonderful service. True Maine Blueberry Pie, 1/2 pound cookies, freshly made muffins. A total must visit!

Absolutely loved this place! WOW what a wonderful place to to eat Breakfast. The staff was so friendly with smiles and a great sense of humor. Even though they get crazy busy when the crowd rolls in for the next tour, they handle everyone with kindness and respect. I truly enjoyed my experience, and I know that ne t time we are in Bar Harbor, we will return.

Stopped on a whim after the whale watching tour because we were hungry and didn't want to wait anywhere else. Great decision! We loved it so much we then stopped for early lunch the next 2 days as well. We can recommend the bagel breakfast sandwiches, cinnamon roll (huge!), blueberry muffins and scones. It was all great and staff was very personable and friendly.

A great place for breakfast with delicious food and coffee. We stopped for a late breakfast and had both a sweet and a savory crepe. Both were very flavorful and delicious with fresh ingredients and reasonable prices. Coffee was delicious and the lattes were great with some creative combinations. There is a small seating area inside and picnic tables outside right on the water. This is definitely an option that should be on your list when visiting the area for breakfast.

Great place with friendly people. You can watch them make your crepe right in front of you. Need to come back for some blueberry pie, heard it's the best..........We stopped in 2 days later and I got that blueberry pie. The best I've had in long time. And on our last day in town the next day had another breakfast, another 5 stars.
