I can't say enough good things about Finback Alehouse. From the service to the food everything was wonderful. I had a very good chat with the bartender about the best collection of unicorn bourbons I had ever seen at any bar. If you are visiting Bar Harbor Maine, definitely stop in!

Had a Cubano with waffle fries. The bread was toasted perfectly, had a nice crunch. Some of the best waffle fries I’ve had. Also had nachos with chili and buffalo chicken dip for appetizers.
Fish was great! Smash burger was awesome. Did NOT like the fries, very crunchy and oily. Atmosphere great and no wait to be seated. Service was prompt but kinda cold. Regardless- we would definitely come back because of the quality of the food (minus the fries). Overall a really good restaurant!!

Fantastic, upbeat place. Food is phenomenal, Buffalo chicken dip was wonderful, my family and I had 4 entrees and each one was exquisitely prepared, and downright delicious. Staff and servers super friendly and helpful. I had the Cuban sandwich-best I’ve ever had.

We loved Finback! It’s an old bar with lots of 80s-style wood on the walls and we really felt cozy there. The staff were friendly, the service was quick, and our food was pretty good. Get the waffle fries! It’s not every day you see that.

Maaaaaan! If you come here you HAVE to try the cowboy smash burger! It was DELICIOUS. The blueberry BBQ sauce might not sound appetizing to some but being from the south, felt like that was the right alleyway for me to get in on the Maine blueberry craze.
