A very relaxed spot with good food. The lobster roll and lobster mac and cheese were absolutely standouts, and the sandwiches and wraps were good. If you want a no frills place with great lobster, this is a great choice!
Hubby and I wanted some fish. Decided to go here. Was an excellent choice! I had the haddock fish sandwich and him the fish and chips. The food was amazing! Our waiter, who I sadly forget his name, was so nice and amazing! The atmosphere was fun! Would definitely go back.
We had adult beverages, clam chowder and half moon fried mozzarella all delicious. Waitress was extremely busy (short handed) service was still very good. We ate outside in the shade nice breeze great atmosphere.
Stopped in late night July 4th. After a certain time no table service. You order your food at a front desk and get a buzzer. Seat yourself. We sat at the bar. Food was decent and the 2 drinks we had were good.
This place made me happy! After so many area restaurants didn’t have the lobster roll I’m glad I found it here and it was delicious. You can’t go wrong with anything from the menu. Tots are perfectly cooked and seasoned. Clam chowder was delicious. The chicken sandwich was amazingly juicy and perfectly cooked. The steak and cheese sub was so delicately cheesy! Recommend this place. And the cherry on top was Lynn. Wonderful service and hospitality. Very friendly and attentive.
We came late night and the service was still good. Food came out fast for a family of 5. Steak and cheese sandwich was really good and the lobster roll was fresh.
They’ve seated us immediately and service was extremely nice and fast. Menu was already on the table with daily specials. Food was delicious, but I personally didn’t like the prawns, but my friends did. Prices were adequate.
Was recommended this place by the staff at Kimball Terrace and it didn't disappoint. My wife absolutely loved the lobster roll and although my daughter didn't like the mac and cheese my wife thought it was great and boxed it up for later.
I had the double burger and although it was very juicy and soaked the bottom bun because the 2 patties, it was very enjoyable.
The music was great as well and the wait staff was extremely courteous and attentive. Def would recommend this place if you're in the area.
A unique bar and restaurant with affordable lobster rolls that are just as fresh as anywhere else around. I really enjoyed their spacious back patio with a gazebo bar attached. A very Maine setting and great place for lunch. They also serve food later than most other places in Bar Harbor (until 11pm). We had the lobster roll for lunch with a perfectly made Bloody Mary, fries and coleslaw. The coleslaw wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but still good. Definitely a must visit while you’re in town. A lot of the locals come here too.
After 9pm, only 21 and older can enter to sit down and have food. Super friendly staff and the food came out quickly. The Dog & Pony Tavern is a nice place to stop in if you need a late night dinner option at a good price. Lobster Mac & Cheese is overpriced but delicious!
