while visiting bar harbor, we stayed two nights at the Holiday Inn. This is the restaurant inside the Holiday Inn’s main building. They serve breakfast (7-9AM) and also dinner (I would also guess lunch?). They also have a full bar. We went for breakfast on our Sunday morning in Bar Harbor before heading to Acadia NP. They had a limited but well manicured breakfast menu that presented us with some larger meal options but required some creativity for those of us that eat small breakfasts. I am not one to eat a large breakfast, but I found myself some options on the “sides” section of the menu where I was able to order an everything bagel and then a side of protein (bacon). The service was quick and respectful. They easily separated our check between the 3 of us, and the coffee was delicious. We had a great experience and the server was attentive. As an upscale hotel restaurant, the menu is, of course, of a pricer scale with most breakfast meals being after $13. Coffee was around $3.
My husband and I came here for dinner on 7/3/23 the server was great! Frankly they were extremely busy due to the holiday weekend and our food took a while to come out. Other than that everything was amazing. The best chicken piccata I have ever eaten. there was a couple sitting right across from us who was SO RUDE TO THE WAITER. He said that his burger was raw! When it clearly was not. He said there was still “guts” on the burger. He was very loud when speaking to the waiter as if the waiter cooked the food himself. A very disgusting man. After the waiter told him he would remove his burger and his gfs dinner he continued to raise his voice and even approached the manager; however she handled him like a badass!! Stood her ground, and advocated for her staff. Good job! Be kind to people and STOP BEING AN ENTITLED POS.
Very good tomato salad with burrata cheese, wood oven pizza and awesome desert!

My husband and I enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Bar Harbor Regency. We particularly were pleased and impressed by the excellent service provided by the restaurant staff most importantly Leticia. She was pleasant, efficient, and professional.
I was surprised by the quick and friendly service and food quality of our breakfast and dinner meals. I had omelet for breakfast and the fish and chips for dinner. All four in our party were satisfied with the food including a variety of appetizers.
Not cheap, but the bartender was attention, the drinks were good and creative, the food was delicious and had the kind of complexity you expect at the price point.
We loved our meal at La Belle Vita, food was flavorful and staff was great
Some of the best service best food best drinks best views let’s not bring up the amazing crispy Brussels sprouts. Delroy, Lisa and Adam have made our honey moon amazing and kept us smiling the whole time. If we ever come back we would definitely look into the hotel they are connected to only so we can eat here and not walk. This has been by far some of the best food and customer service we have seen since covid. Most of the other places such as paddy’s also it never made us wanna come back but since eating at this restaurant we would definitely come back to bar Harbor

Joseph always was quick and super host,best customer service ever! You could tell how he navigates/helps everyone.
Young male hostess though was always unfiendly, would make you wait to be seated or answer a question forever, didn't eccept order for pizza to go at night, after 9 pm because they were too busy.. Had to drive out of the hotel to get it.
Very pleased with my stay at the Holiday Inn Regency and the La Bella Vita restaurant was a big part of that enjoyment. The food was very good and the service was extremely friendly and attentive. We enjoyed Alex and Marta during our stay as servers and they were excellent. Thank you to the entire staff!
I was visiting Bar Harbor for the first time this past week with my Mom and Dad. It was a Wednesday night and we were looking for a good place to eat. My sister had suggested that we try La Bella Vita, as she had a wonderful experience there a few years back. We took her word for it and I’m glad we did. We were lucky to have Dunja as our server. I admired her courage as she was here from Serbia and did a fantastic job! She was quick, polite and very friendly. Then there was the foodddd! I had the lobster ravioli and the food was delicious! To finish the night we were visited by Connor Mac, whom we found out had worked at a local hotel near our home. Very pleased with my experience and would along with my sister highly recommend.
