Grilled catfish is very good. Little hot sauce put the gumbo right on target. Generous portions. Huge menu with lots of options for everyone.

This place is my husband and my absolute favorite place in town! It's about time we got a REAL SEAFOOD place! I grew up straight off the southeast coast of Texas and had seafood for 22 yrs with a family full of shrimpers before moving to bartlesville and goodness me, did I miss it! I had tried seafood at other places but no one in Oklahoma even had a clue what real authentic seafood was suppose to taste like much less prepared! A lot of people who were born and raised in Oklahoma havnt even seen the sea which was surprising! Then this place moved to town and I was like, wow! This is amazing! My favorite is the grilled catfish and shrimp! Their hush puppies are amazing, very much like the ones I've had growing up. The only thing is their grilled oysters need cooking longer but that's it. On a note in support of this business, I think people need to give them a chance to grow. I personally believe the reason they don't have trashcans everywhere is because the waiters here are supposed to clean the tables for you at your convenience to be nice and show hospitality to their customers. They appear to be understaffed but is absolutely normal for a starting business. They are understaffed because they are a new place with most likely very little money getting started. Any businessman would understand this completely if they had to raise a business from the ground up with little funds. We must realize this and support new business like this as a community! This was once someone's life long dream to have a business like this and probably have taken most their life to dream it, work towards it and then establish it as a reality. And what a beautiful reality it is to see someone making something wonderful happen in their life and forciur community! The building is dated but they are blessed to have a building at all, God has provided for them! the booths may be uncomfortable to one commenter complaint, but at least they have a place to sit their customers. Isn't that nice? Sitting in a cool air conditioned place out of the hot summers? They may have a few staff rather than an entire bushel of people but they are learning and are competent in where they stand as a starting beginning. Stop complaining people and start being thankful and show some good ole southern hospitality to our southern seafood eatery! These guys deserve tips. They help us fat greedy Americans savor the little things that matter. Remember that! God has certainly blessed them! Sams southern eatery, you are truly loved!!!! Keep up the great work and don't let anyone discourage you or crush your dreams!!!!!!!!! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

This was my second visit. It was cleaner than the first visit. They were SUPER busy and while it’s obvious they have some kinks still the staff was very courteous, hard working and handling a standing room only crowd quite well. Last but not least the food was OUTSTANDING.

Some of the best fish I've ever had! The serving are huge and the staff friendly and helpful!

The catfish is amazing! The chicken strips are fantastic and the okra is amazing! Great customer service! Bring your family out!

We loved it! They just opened up 2 days ago, so it was a little chaotic trying to make sure everything went smooth. Despite the other frustrated and rude costumers, they done an amazing job! We will be back! All of the servers we were In contact with were so nice! All it takes is a little love and patience with new restaurants. People are human and make mistakes and that’s ok! You guys were awesome! �

Very good food, the salads seem a bit pricey, but you do get a lot, so well worth the money.

Love this place! Huge shrimp!! Catfish, red beans & rice, always excellent!
