Incredible sweet shop, better than any I've had. The snow is magical. I had high expectations but was blown away. The flavors are bold - the fruit punch was just like the Kool Aid. A variety of delicious chocolate candied apples. They even have frozen adult drinks made with the snow. Love it, absolutely recommend.
I couldn't wait to try this place when I discovered it online. Me and a friend went to this location on April 8, 2023. The first thing you will notice is the many desserts that they have. Me and my friend tried the snow flavor. My friend had watermelon, green apple, and tropical flavor snows, while I have the Skittles, and Jolly Ranchers snow flavors and added soft serve vanilla ice cream. The snows tasted just like Skittles and Jolly Ranchers, and the soft serve ice cream bought the flavor together. I also had white chocolate covered oatmeal cream pie. It was ok, but the snow flavors made my experience here worth it. My friend also had the cookie and creme funnel cake which was also yummy
The kids are always wanted to go here so I decided to try it today. I had a scoop of the peach flavoured snow and it was pretty good.
I must say that for what I found, Quintessential Sweets is quite a hidden gem in Bartlett. Not only do they offer a variety of snow cone flavors to try, they also have candy apples for sale, which I thought was very unique. Their caramel espresso snow with ice cream is especially light, refreshing and not too sweet.
While I would like to see the shop serve more international flavors like matcha, keso, and ube, all in all, I love what Quintessential Sweets has to offer. I can’t wait to go back there one day. :)

I stopped in here with my wife for the first time after our anniversary dinner to grab some dessert and was not disappointed. She ended up grabbing a candy apple and I got a slice of birthday cake cheesecake and a snow cone. We enjoyed all of food we purchased and recommend this place highly.
They also offer quite the range of baked goods and funnel cakes which all looked yummy.
Great place to go to when you’re craving certain sweets you can’t get elsewhere. Funnel cake is something I could only get at fairs and festivals until I discovered Quintessential Sweets but their caramel apples are spectacular. Have yet to get one I don’t like! They also keep very well for a few days if I leave them uncut and the apple is always nice and crisp.
I absolute LOVE this place. The sweets are great and the people are awesome. They are always on point with everything. I definitely recommend to anyone who loves sweets. The ice-cream with snow is so so good.

We have passed this place many times and never stopped. Today, we decided to stop by and we were amazed. This place is a mini candy store, mixed with sweet fair treats, shaved ice, homemade ice cream, and flavored snow. Our sweet tooth’s were totally satisfied. We got a funnel cake and flavored snow. The flavored snow was not dry. You could actually taste the flavor. There is so much on the menu. We have already decided what we are going to try the next time we visit. They have caramel apples in a variety of flavors, chocolate dipped Oreos, strawberries, and even oatmeal cream pies! The young man behind the counter, Taurus, assisted us greatly and explained any questions that we had. Stop by, this place will not disappoint!
On 8/8/2023, I bought a strawberry cheesecake funnel cake. It was so delicious. It had the right amount of sugar and strawberries. The staff was very courteous and professional. I will definitely go to them for my sweet tooth.

My husband loves this place for their funnel cakes! We can never seem to make it here in the light of day. Whenever we go it's like 15-30 minutes near closing time and guess what!?!? Each time we're met with smiling faces and amazing service....if you live in this current world of customer service you know that's nothing short of AMAZING. Outside of excellent service they're killing the funnel cake scene HANDS DOWN! Their funnel cake is ALWAYS light, fluffy and hot with the perfect balance if crispness. I usually don't get a funnel cake the size of them are so huge...I usually just share some of the hubs (I'm sure he doesn't like it, oh well, lol.) Last night tho I needed my own! And boy did I get one! I'm so extra when I have dessert cravings.
So, I got the turtle funnel cake and add fresh cut strawberries, waffle pieces and soft serve ice cream! Y'all when I say it was EVERYTHING!!! I MEAN IT! First of all the ladies of Q-Sweets kindly adhered to all my additional topping request with a smile and presented me with the most beautifully appealing funnel cake that met all of my demands exceptionally...even with ice cream on top my funnel cake was still soft, hot and crispy...HOW SWAY!?!? Q-SWEETS my husband and I are LIFERS....Thank you so much!!
This is one of my favorite dessert food places. I discovered them on doordash first and recently visited the restaurant on Bartlett blvd for some of their funnel cakes which are Dee-licious! I would have given 5 star 🌟s but my first time visiting yesterday was disappointing cause they made me wait an hour for my strawberry crumble funnel cakes cause they ran out of strawberries which would have been okay if after we waited they warmed it back up or even just offered a complimentary dessert or snow for the inconvenience.

We were looking for a casual dessert place for Valentines, and we ended up going to Quintessential. The first impression of the place was ok. It smelled of fried food, which was welcome considering we were looking for something more than ice cream. But the place looked a little cluttered. It’s an odd-shaped store, but I think they could give it a more welcoming atmosphere, maybe less coolers out front and more tables.
We ordered the cookies & cream funnel cake. It was very good! I wish the cream topping on it was less icing-like so it didn’t crumble. We also took it home to eat since they didn’t have tables set up, and I’m just hoping that the cake was more crispy when it was fresh than it was after 15 minutes in a styrofoam container.
We also got the cheesecake milkshake. That was really good! Sadly, the cheesecake bites would get stuck on the bottom of the straw. I’d suggest they get those large straws people use for boba drinks for this reason.
The service was very friendly and helpful. No complaints there!
Overall, it hit the spot! I think we’d only make a return trip if we wanted another funnel cake. The ice cream was just typical of any other creamery.
Pregnant and had been craving funnel cakes went in litterly 5 mins before closing and they were so sweet and still served me. The customer service is truly top tier for that. I will be back, Amazing funnel cake and strawberry crumble cake 🤤
Stopped by the movies the other day and decided to step in to see what this place was all about. I think we sat there 15 mins before ordering because I was in awe and could not decide what to try. Never heard anyone I know speak on the place so decided to read reviews, hit and miss. Alot of people say over priced and I was thinking the same, well I can say that funnel cake being 6.99 qas about 2 inches THICK! My daughter had the snow with ice cream. I ate maybe 1/4 and was done! My 9 y/o ate 2/3's and rest went in freezer. Jayla and the manager Chris were very helpful and patient as they were slammed as I sat there and watched. I will say I placed my funnel cake in the microwave once I got home, next day, hit 30 seconds and I smashed the rest. The photo is cookies-n-creme. Powdered sugar, oreo crumbles, I believe white chocolate drizzle and I asked for milk chocolate drizzle to top it off.
Cute little place. Customer service was ok. I had a small snow cream and strawberry cheese cake funnel cake. Definitely will come again.
So many options! Deep fried oreos, twinkies, etc. Chocolate dipped rice krispie treats, flavored snow (Italian ice), ice cream made in house, candy. Like I said so many great tasting options. I'll let the pictures do the talking.
