Review Pocono Pub - Bartonsville

We travel for 3 months at a time. Finding precious jewels of gathered people who share their skills with the community and the community responds by nurturing the space in which these shared moments take place. The foods are prepared perfectly, the service was like a family dining table and the price/quality ratio is bottom heavy with room for beverages from an amazing bar staff. Yep... 5 stars.

11/14/23 Been awhile since i was here. Met my friend here for a beer and a chat. The original kind of chat, where you actually talk to the person ;) Anyway, i had their hazy IPA and it was good, so good i had a second one. Also had the buffalo chicken quesadilla and that was really good too and a very generous size i might add. I would certainly get that again.

This place is amazing, hands down. From the atmosphere, to the food, to the people. I was in town for business for 3 days, I came here every day. Nothing on the menu was bad, it was all great. They have a soup of the day which when I was there was hamburger soup one night and Philly cheesesteak another night. The soup is more brothy than filling. Very delicious but again mostly just broth. I also had the chili which was thick and chunky and absolutely delicious. I was able to try their award winning wings which are indeed award winning. Not too hot either, I got hot flavor and they weren't hot but bursting with flavor instead. Entree wise I got the Italian Cheesesteak one night, the jumping jack burger another night and then the creme de le creme, Prime Rib! Wednesday night is their prime rib special, beautifully cooked, flavorful and tender. I actually stopped to get a picture of it. Steak, starch and veggies all for $19 which is crazy to find a prime rib under $20. Everything was equally as tasty as the last, you can't go wrong eating here. As far as the staff, everyone was awesome. I spoke to Steve and Joe most. Steve is the general manager and the 1st night I was there we chatted for a bit about tattoos (I have a Playstation sleeve on my arm he noticed) and we began to nerd out which took me by surprise cause Steve is a tall, built, bald, intimidating guy when you look at him. You'd have no idea he was a big nerd and very friendly. Anyways, there's a reason I came here 3 nights in a row. If you're in town, especially staying at the hotel next door, come here. You won't regret it!

Great place to go! The atmosphere was pleasant, the waitress was great and the food was better. We had burgers, and both were great.

went there and got their spinach and artichoke dip appetizer as well as their buffalo chicken sandwich w fries. the chips and dip were really good and for their sandwich it was pretty okay, honestly wasn’t a fan of the chicken cause it was a little dry and their blue cheese tasted off. the fries were good tho.

Great blue collar environment. Love the humble mentality and the customer service was great. Food is amazing. We got our food fast and fresh. Definitely one of those places where you can blindly pick an item off the menu and you would love it. The wings are a must for an appetizer I will say and the loaded fries are amazing too. For dinner I had the steak sizzle with the bourbon sauce and the steak was cooked to perfection and the sauce was amazing as well!

Went for an early dinner. Great service and prices. Large portions and food is excellent. Wings are outstanding. Burger was definitely hand made. Pot roast was melt in your mouth.

We have lived in the Poconos for some time now. We never had a reason to go here, based on where we lived...Bushkill, and then Cresco. Saw a Thanksgiving dinner ad on social media, so we went, as this year all the kids were doing other things. I am impressed...very clean and organized. The service was top notch, and the food was terrific, and priced right. We will see you again!

Superior service from the excellent wait staff. The food came out so quickly, even Marie, our server was surprised. This is a clean restaurant with bathrooms to match. The music is going and the drinks are flowing. Great spot to stop for a bite or sip.

Love this place!! Alyssa was so sweet, she took excellent care of us!! We had a few mechanical issues with our vehicle in the area, so we had a couple of hours to kill! We got a cab ride to the Pocono Bar and Grill and had the best time! We got to talk to a few of the locals and had a great lunch!! Would definitely go back here if in the area!!

Came here staff was really really nice and friendly. My family and I got seated in a reasonable time during the busy night. I got the smokehouse burger. Best burger I’ve ever had in pa. Portions were huge. They got a massive drink menu too (at least in my opinion) I will return next time I’m nearby. Love you guys. 😀 keep up the good work. Parking is free too.

I'd love to give this place 5 stars but the second day I went the service was terrible. I went back to back on 3/20 & 3/21. The first day, the food was spot on, our waitress named Corey was fantastic! The manager named Steve came up to us to conversate. The wings and burger were awesome 😎 Honestly, that's what brought my wife and I back for lunch the next day. Day 2.... Service was slow. The place barely had anyone in it. It took literally over an hour for our food to be brought out. The appetizer we ordered came out with our main meal. The food was warm and not hot like the day before. All in all, we were not happy with the way the establishment was ran with the management and staff on day 2. All new faces from the day before. Our waitress was acting as the mask police, telling all the patrons to wear their mask properly, as she wore her own as a chin strap. Pretty ridiculous if you asked me...all in all food was good. Next time we go, we will need to call ahead to see if if steve is running the show.
