Cafe America and its owners are the most generous and caring. They assisted me in my hour of need, providing a beautiful and most delicious meal for my husband's memorial service. Everyone who attended from Louisiana, Kentucky and North Carolina were very pleased with the quality and service provided. It was the best experience for me and my family. My most gracious thanks and appreciation to all.

Great menu, food/bev and service. One of only a few places around that serves the best crab cakes, iced tea and stuffed potatoes. I also appreciate the attention Mr. Brian gives ensuring all the diners are having a great experience. Thanks again to everyone at Cafe Americain and look forward to my next visit.

Baton Rouge roast beef po-boys are a hit or miss, but Café Americain nails it. Their gumbo is great as well.

There were lots of choices on the menu. The food was great. It was very well-seasoned and very large portions. The service by Dusty was the best and one of the highlights of the experience!!! She was very attentive and no need was unmet.

My group recently had a rehearsal dinner here. The food was excellent along with the service. The owner and his entire staff was friendly, professional and accommodating to some our special needs. As an event planner I've dealt with many establishments. Cafe Americain is by far my preferance.

I only recently tried Cafe Amercain after hearing about it several times from a friend. Now after having eaten here a few times, I hesitate to write a review, only because this is one of those hidden Jems you like to keep all to your self. The pancakes are excellent. Especially the blueberry or the sweet potato pecan. What makes it even more fun is the eclectic decor and crowd. From the stained glass panels hanging from the ceiling to the blue haired old folks having cocktails and scrambled eggs at eleven am, it's worth a try! Will be back again!

The service as great. The amount of food was not expected. This was my first time going and having bottomless. One of the cheaper bottomless brunch spots ($5.50) in BR. Haven't been here during an busy time , so I wouldn't know about calling for reservations. I'd recommend early, like 11:00 ish. I ordered a shrimp and grits a la carte and it was huge! Didn't even eat it. The pancakes were flavored and fluffy. Definitely recommend going.

A cozy and relaxing bistro cafe with bar. Service was excellent, and the staff friendly and cordial. The cream of asparagus with lump crab meat is a superb must, and I can happily recommend there menu as first rate.
