Great food and great atmosphere. My favorite place to eat Mexican. Awesome staff...... Ask for Paco he's the man!!!!!

Great food but bad service. Were seated and received our menus and then ignored for about 15 minutes. The lunch menu expired during our wait. Food came promptly after that but no silverware. Our request for more salsa ignored the first time and a side item was left off a plate. Tasted great after we received everything. 3 other parties dining at the same time. Not a packed house by any means.
Great place to eat. My husband and I were craving some Mexican food, so we decided to try you guys out. We came to eat dinner on a Monday night, we were greeted with a warm smile! Our waitress, Kimberly, was fast, friendly and helpful. We didn't need to ask for refills nor for dessert. Very satisfied with our visit! We will be back.. keep up the good work! Oh, and very beautiful atmosphere!

Hit or Miss. Pining for Mexican food, we decided to bypass our regular stop in Bay St Louis and give Le Maguey a try. We were promptly seated and delivered chips and salsa and our beverages. I would suggest a little salt on the chips, but the salsa was great.
Upon deciding from the many choices on the menu, I informed the waitress of my selection. She had no idea what I was talking about so I had to show her on the menu. I had thought perhaps she was new and unfamiliar with the menu but upon receiving the dish, I concluded it may just be an item not frequently ordered. I did not receive my choice of beans as advertised, nor tortillas to accompany. The steak was dry and flavorless. I requested hot sauce and got something other than the fresh sauce the table next to me got. The rice and beans were good though.
My companion opted for the Carnitas. I wish I had gotten them! Tender and moist, easily cut with a fork. Flavorful and plentiful. Maybe I'll just stay away from the Churrasco next time. I will certainly give El Maguey another go.
Perfect as always. Excellent service. Excellent food .. always look forward to our dinner here.

Great TexMex. Having recently moved here from Houston Texas .. we have pretty much tried every mexican restaurant on the coast .. trying to find someone that's compariable to Houston's best "TexMex" .. Well ... I think we have a winner .. our orders of shrimp stuffed Pablanos Rellenos & Chicken Fajita's were outstanding . What a great menu selection. great service, and atmosphere.
There's lots more to try .. looking forward to our next visit .. the only negative .. their Maragaritas (on rocks) needs some "Triple Sec" ..
Good food, Good Service. My girlfriend and I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday. We were surprised at how good this restaurant was. We were welcomed with a smile. The food was very good and exactly what we wanted that night. In fact, I'm eating the leftovers right now! We had Hector as our server and he was very informative and professional when presenting items listed on the menu. We didn't have to ask him for anything (napkins, utensils, etc.) after we ordered. Seems like most Mexican restaurants bring you the entrée right after you dipped you second chip in the queso appetizer. This was not the case here. The timing for the appetizer and food was spot on. I give this place 2 thumbs up and we will definitely be back!
El Magoody. Very good chimichanga - rather a nice size, the shredded beef were flavorful, generous with the lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole, and sour cream. Nicely toasted and crunchy shell. They did use cheese sauce, and I prefer the red sauce. The side of refried beans came in a small cup - a bit liquidy and just a dash of cheese on it. Maragaritas were good, but not spectacular. service was good - we were a large party, but only one order was off. The decor is nice and cheerful - TVs were unobtrusive.
So all and all a very good experience.
Delicious! My father and I visited El Maguey for the first time last night, and absolutely loved it! All the food was fresh l. The crawfish stuffed chili rellanos were to die for. To top it off, for. Two adult meals, one child meal, and drinks was only 37 dollars! The margaritas looked delicious and were reasonably priced. I wasn't able to try one because I was driving, but definitely on the list for date night!

Awesome! Food was great, loved the hot salsa, just right 👍 I had the best waiter, Gerardo, always there and on top of everything. Didn't drink but nice bar. Very nice experience. Visiting but this will be my "go to" when I'm in town.
We had the Happy Chicken special, OMG it was so delicious and ample serving size, took half of mine home for another meal. Never had a bad meal here and service is always fast and the food is hot. We come back every year when we are in the area.
At my request, I was seated at a table on the outside patio and I enjoyed my lunch immensely. I started with a fabulous Margarita and enjoyed the chips and hot sauce while I waited for my order of Shrimp Fajitas to arrive. The order was perfectly seasoned and the accompanying sides were tasty also. The waitstaff was very attentive. I think I found my new favorite Mexican Food restaurant!
The best food in bsl I think. Very comfortable and transgender friendly. I love there cheese sauce and all there food I been here few times and have had great experiences. They make really good top shelf drinks.
