I find the staff to be polite, friendly, and good at what they do (I.e. Taking orders correctly, checking on tables not too often or too little, but just right, and displaying promptness). I tip according to the quality of service--for instance, excellent service garners a 20% or higher tip, good or above average: 20%, decent or sub par: 18%, horrible service: 12-14% (to prove a point); it's a matter of principle). I've never given a server at Bayonne's Houlihan's less than 20%.
The food is good for your standard chain-restaurant fare. Tastes good, and never makes me sick (I have a weak stomach).

And so help me, even though I have liver disease and it hasn't progressed very far yet and I thusly am not on the transplant list at this time (and barely ever drink, anyway), dangnabbit, I'm gettin' me a Cactus Bowl! Because it's my birthday dinner.
This is the best restaurant in Jersey City any time I got my food it's hot the staff is Pleasant and I never have any issues I have recommended my friends because the service I received us superb. I recommend everyone to go here
Their Prime Rib is better than a steak house’s. The service is excellent and the staff makes customer service a priority.
The atmosphere is both comfortable and relaxing.

Had a great night! The food was good but the drinks were weak. The best part of our experience was our waiter Jimmy. He was outstanding. He took very good care of us the whole time.
For national waitstaff day we nominate Gybram B. He was and always seems to be a very attentive and hands on waiter. He is considerate and on point. It is a pleasure to come to Houlihans and be in the presence of all the great waitstaff at the Bayonne houlihans.
Wonderful food. Great atmosphere. Only some tables have a redish ambiance which doesn’t work in the favor of pictures or the look of the food. Otherwise great clean place to take your whole family
This is THE BEST restaurant I've tried since being in NJ. Being from Texas, it's hard to find a good restaurant that can compare to food back home. They give you more than enough. This is my new favorite restaurant. The stuffed mushroom are my favorite and they are huge. Everything I've tried at this restaurant are beyond amazing (wings, stuffed potato skins, cheesecake, mushroom and Meatloaf No. 9)
I came here for the first time today for lunch. I got my selections from the All Day Fix Menu that only cost $19.99. For that price you get a first course, a second course and a dessert. Everything was great and the service I received was top notched. My waiter was so nice, friendly and attentive. The overall appearance of the restaurant was clean and they made sure everyone is safely distanced at each table. I will definitely go back!
The Strawberry/Mango margarita came in a large glass. The Hawaiian Limeade was really good. [Will write more later]
