Maggie Mays is a wonderful local staple. It is an Irish pub with delicious food that reminds you of home. I highly recommend trying the daily specials, they never disappoint. Our waitress recommended the ribs and they were excellent. She was so kind and attentive. If you are looking for good food in a cozy atmosphere, this is your spot.

Excellent no BS Irish bar and restaurant with fantastic food and a cozy atmosphere. The bartender Gary is a friendly guy and the service is top notch.
I got the dinner special which was the fireman’s meatloaf. It was one of the better meatloafs I’ve had; super moist and flavorful and the portion was enormous for the price. Mashed potatoes were creamy and green beans were fresh.
The french onion soup here is perfect. Also, the Caesar salad is fresh, crisp and tossed with proper homemade Caesar dressing and excellent garlic croutons… plus it’s topped with slices of fresh shaved Parmesan that are so good they stand on their own. The salad was huge and was only $8.99. Always pleasant music playing too. This place is a gem and a retreat from the crazy world.

This visit was for a retirement party. Bar service was brisk with a large group of over 60. The bartender kept up with everyone, including some other patrons not among the party-goers. He was exceptionally quick and very congenial. Wait staff and others who took care of us were quite attentive. Bathrooms are tight quarters but we'll monitored and clean. Our party was booked between 3pm and 6pm. We were allowed to remain a little longer, just as regular dinner patrons began to arrive. Once again, this was a lovely place for a party, which I certainly recommend.

I absolutely LOVE this restaurant! The staff is attentive and well mannered. Their food is delicious and affordable. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful as well! Such a calm and peaceful setting especially at night time. Their lobster ravioli special is fantastic and their chicken fingers and honey mustard sauce appetizer tastes delicious! Everything is always clean! Will definitely keep coming back!

Great experience. Pizza is amazing and one of the best on Bayside. Wings are a bit dry…but service and atmosphere make up for it. Gary is a great guy.

Food is delicious and reasonably priced. My all time favorites are the Maggie dry Ribs simply fall off the bones and so tenderly juicy, full of flavor and I just love the Maggie Salad.

Had my husband's surprise 40th birthday in their private back room and it was great. Everyone had a good time, and mentioned they liked the venue & the food. Can’t beat the price either! The wait staff was all very friendly too. It was easy to book although they don’t send a confirmation or anything in writing when booking, which is a little nerve racking, but ended out working out fine. The only other thing I’d mention is I had called the day before to update my menu selections (changed the fish to the shrimp scampi, but when my sister ordered the Shrimp they told her it wasn’t on the menu. Oh well, she ended up ordering something else and was fine. Overall great place for a low-key event. Def recomend.

Excellent restaurant and atrium to enjoy a delicious Irish themed dinner or lunch. Steak was fantastic and my wife loved her chicken salad a la Maggie. Great food friendly service at reasonable prices. Great atmosphere and clean. Highly recommend!!

I've been to this bar on several occasions and I've always had a pretty decent time. The place is clean and the service is good. The best part for me is the burger special they offer. I believe they have it everyday for an hour before the kitchen closes. It's a petite burger deluxe with fresh toppings and crispy fries for only $3. The flavor is on point and it makes for a great snack after a few drinks. I've always been tempted to order 2, but 1 seems to be enough....

While we had gone there on a Sunday, the bar was very quiet. We went there for a party, so we didn't try any of their Irish dishes as their were preselected choice for the party's menu. They did have scones available on the table as a part of their bread basket, and they were delicious. The penne a la vodka sauce was a bit thin for my liking, but the chicken francese was delicious. The enclosed back room has a nice ambience for small parties, and the staff was very courteous.

Three of us ladies drove to Bayside for lunch at Maggie May's. Two of us started with a bowl of onion soup, which was prepared perfectly. My chicken a la Maggie proved to be breaded chicken in a cream sauce with red potatoes, artichokes, fresh green beans and carrots, and it was tasty and filling. One friend declared her steak sandwich delicious; the other was very pleased with her chicken sandwich.
The wait staff is friendly, helpful, attentive and professional. You can enjoy a leisurely meal without being rushed.
For those who have trouble negotiating the step at the entrance, the staff can provide a ramp. Just press the button next to the door to alert an employee that you need assistance. You will be greeted with a welcoming smile, and the portable ramp will be set up promptly.

Excellent Irish fare at economical prices and fast friendly service. Lovely atmosphere for lunch or a dinner date. Love the steak and potatoes and the Maggie salad with chicken was divine. Highly recommend!!!

It is a nice find in Bayside for brunch, dinner or cocktails. It has a nice space for private parties. The staff is friendly and attentive. We had my grandson's first birthday party and Baptism celebration there. It was awesome both times. A tasty menu selection, good service and ambiance was perfect! The adults & kids had a great time.
If you need entertainment I also reccommend magician Eric Lindsey- he puts on a great show for young and old. Is amazing with the kids. Google him he has lots of good reviews. He comes with his rabbit, magic bag of tricks and lots of balloons and keeps everyone entertained.

I've been a bayside native for a while now, my family grew up here and we've always been a fan of Maggie mays - cozy ambiance, pretty good bar food, and generally a good time. However a few weeks ago I was sitting at the bar and saw this sign across from me.
I will no longer go to or recommend Maggie mays to anyone until the owner of this bar recognizes and respects that social inequality exists and has absolutely nothing to do with a flag or an anthem.
I am saddened for you that you let your ignorance of privilege get in the way of enjoying a football game. You will never receive my business again.

Wings were excellent, I had the steak which could have been seasoned better but it was cooked great with mash and fresh veggies, my valintines had steak sandwhich which was excellent , yes we will be back, Donavan's can keep there hi prices and grunt attitude we made a great choice coming here and we will be back!
