Very friendly and helpful. Pastrami tasted so good. Reminds me of how it use to be years ago. First time here. Will definitely return.

First time coming. Super friendly staff and we were greeted upon entering the restaurant. The waitress was accommodating and checked up on us to make sure we were happy with our order. I order the open sandwich with corned beef and juicy pastrami with a side of jumbo steak size french fries. That was delicious. The juicy pastrami however wasn't juicy at all which was the only disappointing part of the dining experience.

Delicious. I recommend visiting this establishment for a quick bite to eat. If you chose to sit down, the establishment is clean, and the wait time between ordering and receiving your food is minimal. The food is good, especially their cold cuts, such as pastrami or corned beef. Their roast beef is also top notch. Overall, this is a great place for a quick bite to eat. My only complaint is that the bathroom is in need of a renovation, and the food can get pricy depending on what you get.

Kosher delis are truly a dying breed. Due to demographics and economics it is impossible for them to survive, even here in NYC. This place is the real deal offering fresh authentic fare for a reasonable price. This restaurant is family owned and run. The staff is young, friendly and competent. One of the reasons by son moved back to NY from Indiana was to savor the matzoh ball soup here. There is absolutely nothing bad about this place. The soup, sandwiches and fries are fresh and tasty. Hurry on over to eat as I'm not sure how much longer this place can remain viable. I go almost weekly. Final note, keep taking you cholesterol medication if you eat here.

Buddys has the best pastrami in Queens. They have catered my last two Passover, Rosh hashonah and anniversary dinners. The food is good, plentiful and they even make no sugar added stuffed cabbage for my guests with no sugar diets. They make the event great and MIke and his whole team treat you like family.

I explained how I had just arrived from Charlotte, NC to see my Aunt who had a stroke in December. My uncle expressed that she wanted either a pastrami or corn beef sandwich but he waa sure. I googled kosher resturants near me and buddies came up as recommended. So we set out on our journey from Rosedale. I ordered 3 sandwiches corn beef, pastrami , and a half and half for myself. I also requested pickles. The gentleman that assistated me was an absolute pleasure. My aunt is Rehabilitating at the Grandv pavillion in Rockville center. I was told she was refusing food. I was so overjoyed that she ate the entire corn beef sandwich. It brought tears to my eyes.

The guy who served me at the deli counter was very helpful, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. The deli meats were fine, but the stuffed derma (kishke) was overcooked and very dry.

A true old-school Jewish kosher deli, which is getting rarer to find nowadays. Fantastic hot dogs, pastrami sandwiches, and knishes. Wonderful place to nosh.
