From the Best server Olga, who takes ownership of her job, which is rare today. She is great in her energy and knowledge of the food. Been going for years. The Burgers are super... Prefer them over the renowned Jackson Hole up the road. Handmade with a secret recipe of Ted's (tried to get it, lol). Tender,tasty and Juicy, served on a piece of Italian bread, the way I like it. The Italian Bread, another WOW, where do they order from?? With my dinner's of veal and pasta, what a treat. Reminds me of the real deal Italian Bread from Mulberry St, in the day. The fried Calamari is excellent and plentiful for an appetizer (feeds 2), Had a fresh made Sicilian Pie (Square for non-NYer's) with a friend, another favorite.. Never had a bad choice there. With the cold Beer available, a great neighborhood stop for a comfortable meal.
This review is based on delivery, so keep that in mind. The food was fairly priced, and the pizza toppings were generous. Crispy thin crust pizza is a favorite of mine and they did it well, so thumbs up for that. The buffalo chicken calzone was okay, but nothing too special. The cheese garlic bread was perfect and I would definitely order again.
The place has changed since I last went. New seating set up and new menus. Parking is hard to come by. It is metered street parking. The waitress Olga is great. She remembers you and what you "usually" eat. Kinda like Cheers 😉. Prices are reasonable and the food is good.
Location is very unassuming but So delicious! Calamari was perfectly fried and well seasoned. The salad was not overdressed. Simple and delicious. Bread was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and warm. My veal parmigiano was delicious! Best entree at the table. Kudos to the chef! Also at the table, spaghetti & meatballs and linguine with red clam sauce.
I've eaten here several times but usually for take out. Everything was delicious and service was great.

Tilapia Oreganata came with rice and salad
Lasagna came with salad and bread
A Pitcher of Soda
We didn't wind up finishing and I feel this could have easily fed 5 or 6 people.
Wonderful experience, good service and excellent food. You'll enjoy whatever you eat here.
I have had many dishes and slices, heros and entrees here can't say I have had bad one.
There pizza is fantastic. Especially there grilled chicken deep dish pizza thingee. Not sure what it is called but it is delicious. It's a great cozy place to dine and kid friendly. The staff is very nice and polite. I love going there.
The prices are reasonable. I think they have one of the better pizzas in the area. IIRC, a slice is either $2.50 or $2.75. My next choice of pizza would be Fontana about 2 miles west. The subs and pasta dishes at Pete's are also good. Never ever get their fries. It's dinky and oily. Pete's can be shady. If you order 2 slices during lunch and you can get a free drink, they won't tell you it's free. They'll just ask if you want something to drink. Know what you order and know what you should get. Look at the deals (eg lunch specials) on the sign that's outside.
OMG, THIS IS A HIDDEN GEM IN QUEENS!! FRESH AND DELICIOUS FOOD, EXCELLENT PRICES. FRESH BAKED BREAD LOAVES. one thing though, service isn't great, the server is a tad standoffish. ..im thinking maybe they're like a family member of the owners or maybe part owner and they dont feel like they have to work particularly hard to be nice or a good server. But that said, i still wouldn't take off even half a star, that's how good the food is.

Excellent place to eat , enjoy drinks, and enjoy an amazing atmosphere. Excellent service. A must go place for anyone who wants to have a great time.
Through various owners the staff remains the same. Ask for Olga. Not only will she speed the meal to you but it will always be delicous. Atmosphere is Family.
