The food was absolutely delicious. It came out quick and our server was very attentive. I had steak fajitas and the sauce they put with it so good. I tried the chicken burrito that was just as wonderful. The prices are very reasonable. Will be back !

Great food and super friendly staff. Been going there for many years and its nice to see the same bartender, waitstaff and hosts over and over again. The best margaritas in northern queens. Crispy sweet maduros and some of the tasitet grilled chorizo i have tried!

Actually, I'm not very good at Mexican food. But this meal was delicious and impressive. I recommend Solomillo. Grilled filet mignon presented with mixed vegetables and a side of cream mushroom. Good service.There is a full bar for those who like Mexican food and drink. I recommend you to come here.

This place was amazing. The food I ordered turned out to be no carbs which I did not intend but it was sooooo delicious. My fiance got the flautas and he finished every last bite too. We had some daquiris, we thought they gave us with no alcohol but it was just that good. And the desert did not disappoint either. It was something different. Ice cream with flour tortilla chips. This is definitely an option for the future.

Love love love the drinks here !!! The bar service is exceptional! Ask for Roberto he's my guy! The guac and chips is also out of this world. A great spot to come and chill out a bit from outdoor madness .

We make it a point to visit this restaurant every time we’re in NYC. The service is always great and the food is delicious. My favorite dish is the chicken chimichanga. Our last visit was 5/15 as soon as we stepped off the plane and that visit was just as great as our previous visits. I’m looking forward to our next visit.

Don't judge the book by its cover! The decor is cheesy, Corona mariachi hat piñatas and such, but the food is excellent!!! Calamari was so tender! Chicken chimichanga...fantastic! Skirt steak....cooked perfectly! Everything was so flavorful! Drinks were on point too! Give it a shot...prices are super reasonable and way worth it.

While stopping by my folks' workplace on Bell Blvd. in Bayside, NY, I got some takeout from a variety of places for lunch. My mom was in the mood for a little Mexican cuisine so we ordered a lunch special from Cinco de Mayo . Chimichanga Lunch Special ($6.95) Golden crispy flour tortilla, chicken The chimichanga was well fried, crisp, and not greasy. The pulled chicken was moist. Nothing special here, but nothing more was really expected. All lunch specials come with well-seasoned rice, creamy black beans, a pittance of guacamole, lettuce, and sour cream. As an added bonus, they usually provide freshly fried tortilla chips with a mildly spicy salsa on the side. Nothing fancy, but appreciated considering the affordable price point. Cinco de Mayo is the epitome of casual Mexican cuisine, which is to say that they provide affordable Mexican food with a variety of options that lean towards burritos and tacos. Don't expect Rosa Mexicano or Dos Caminos in NYC or El Vez in Philly and you'll be fine. But don't worry - you won't be paying those respective price points either.

Decent. The Steak Fajita was great. The Frozen Mango Margarita left a lot to be desired. The drink tasted nasty. Their Chocolate Flan was different, but not bad.

The food does a disservice to Mexican and Latin cuisine in general. Ordered the skirt steak only to be served what looked like flank and tasted like chuck. Didn't want to send it back as we were a big group celebrating a special event so I didn't want to ruin the moment. The arroz con pollo was bland and had more sausage than chicken. I hope people who aren't familiar with Mexican/Latin cuisine think that this is what our food tastes like. I must say the sparkling sangria was delicious. The service wasn't bad either.

Not bad.. This place was okay. The drinks were great, the food not so much. I ordered the burrito and it literally fell apart after the first bite. The margarita on the other hand was delicious.

Hit or Miss. I'm a vegetarian, so I'm automatically a picky eater to a certain extent. I highly reccommend the chile rellenos here as a great vegetarian dish. One day, however, I ordered the vegetarian burritos and I can't tell you strongly enough-DON'T. <br/>It was a tortilla stuffed with a frozen vegetable mix...as in, broccoli, green beans, but mostly carrots. No peppers, onions, or anything else you would remotely expect to find in a burrito, except for the beans and rice. The vegetables hadn't thawed properly so they were tough on the inside. I kept digging, hoping to find something fresh or redeeming, but it just wasn't there. When the waiter asked how it was I told him I didn't like it and he just kind of shrugged. Umm...thanks?

Big portions and better service. The servers are so friendly and always remember their customers. Portions are big and the margaritas are legitimate (not a hangover nightmare). Food is nothing out of the ordinary just typical Mexican dishes but still tasty and not masked by grease. The atmosphere, service, and drinks are worth coming back for a fun evening with friends. Actually great place to meet people for happy hour too if you like margaritas at happy hour prices!
