Good Chinese food. The 咸豆浆 (salty soybean milk) is the best, especially with some 油条(fried cruellers?) on the side. The noodle soup were pretty good too. Really enjoyed the broth and meat in the spicy beef noodle soup. The chive chicken noodle soup was also pretty good but would have appreciated more soup. The service was great! All the ladies always refilled our teapots and striked up conversation with us! Definitely an amazing local place to stop by!

If you want to try authentic Chinese food this place is a good start. The food was tasty especially the beef with onion also the shrimp walnut. It’s a classic Chinese dish with very generous portions size. The fish was good but a little over cooked, the sauce is amazing on the fish. The shrimp walnut was very delicious and the size of the shrimps were huge. Definitely coming back for more! Overall, very unique place where the tables are made out of pennies and very filling. It’s also not that expensive we were stuffed with a bunch of leftovers.

Really yummy food. Got the salty rice roll, turnip sou Bing (has dried shrimp or some type of umami!), braised pork with rice and sweet soy milk. Also got veggies dumplings, not pictured. Handmade dough, filling was eggs, vermicelli and greens. So happy there weren't garlic chives! Convenient if you drive. The staff doesn't speak a lot of English but through pointing and gesturing, I still ordered lots of delicious food. The table next to me got stinky Tofu, a whole braised fish and lions head meatball that looked great too!

We were big fan of 南北和 in Flushing and were so bummed when they closed years ago. Ltttle did we know they have moved to Bayside!
Hubby loves their pot sticker 開口鍋貼and had been in search for good ones for years! THANK GOD for Tik Tok, he saw a post last night and we went this morning for breakfast.
As ‘usual’ I got my favorite salty tofu pudding while hubby opted for the cold soy drink. The scallion pancake rolled with beef was so good, also like the tasty radish sou bing. And the pot sticker still as good as we remembered.
Needless to say, we will be frequent this joint once again!

Best Taiwanese restaurant in the area. My favorites are oyster pancake and steamed meat buns. Stinky tofu is a popular choice but it is an acquired taste.
One unisex restroom. Street parking only.

This is one of our favorite Taiwanese spots. I have been coming to this restaurant for 10-15 years, since they were located in Downtown Flushing. The food is delicious and flavorful. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. There is a large variety of food and I am always leaving satisfied and full. They also have some lunch and dinner specials. They do not have a parking lot, but parking is easy to find on the street of or on the side street. It is close to multiple bus lines, so it is easy get to.

Excellent Taiwanese food. They also have Taiwanese breakfast. We ordered the 3 dishes family meal for lunch and finished it all. End up getting takeout for dinner as well.

The portion were generous, I love the stinky tofu, it has become my favorite in the city so far. The fly head was pretty good, heated (spicy) and nice. We did the 3 dish plus soup. The soup was pretty good and every thing wasn't heavily salted.

As a Taiwanese, I can tell this place is authentic from just the smell: the smell of Stinky Tofu was so on point! It might scare non-Taiwanese away but we love it 😂.
Love the savory soy milk with fried dough. We also had fried oysters, stinky tofu, and hotpot. They were all very good and delicious. This place smooth my tummy and also my homesick.

Always a great treat to have authentic Asain cooking at Nan Bei Ho. Don't let this place pass you by!

My family and I have been coming to Nan Bei Ho for authentic Taiwanese breakfast every chance we could! It used to be in the heart of Flushing and closed for a few years. We couldn't find another place as good as they are. So we were happy when we found out that they opened again, though in a different location. Many of their breakfast items are delicious, we typically get the salty soybean milk, sweet soy milk, beef with sesame pancake and steamed vegetables dumplings, just to name a few. My favorite item on their breakfast menu is the steamed vegetable dumplings. It's made with vegetable, eggs and green bean noodles. The flavor is mild but enhanced with ginger vinegar. The wrap can get a bit doughy but it's very satisfying when popping one to the mouth. The salty soybean milk has pork floss, vinegar, scallions, pickled vegetable. The flavor is well balanced, adding some hot pepper oil can enhance the experience. I have not found another place that makes the vegetable dumplings or the salty soy bean milk as good as Nan Bei Ho. The restaurant also offers many staple Taiwanese dishes and available all day. It's definitely one of my pocket list of breakfast place to go. There is no parking lot, but street parking is typically available nearby.

Pretty decent place to get authentic Taiwanese cuisine. The steam dumplings are plump and filled with flavorful meat. The braised pork over rice was meh to me. The spicy beef and peppers are decent and pack a nice bite.

This is one of the Shanghai restaurants we like to go for lunch or dinner for ordering dishes. However, we found out the Shanghai style soup dumplings not as good as others.

Excellent food - I don’t want to hype it up. The traditional Taiwanese dishes are authentic and well executed. “San Bay” chicken (3 cup chicken) is very good. Stinky tofu is one of the best in Flushing (crispy on the outside, moist and juicy in the middle and paired with pickled cabbage, garlic, their special sauce). Fried pork chopped rice is absolutely delicious with all the goodies... Pay attention to the portion size and you have good value here as well. Lastly, you don’t have to spend too much time looking for street parking.

Not all the food is super good. Order the beef noodle soup. The beef is very tender. That is the best dish out of the ones we ordered

We ordered the family dish with three entries, three rice bowls and three soups for $35 and added two more entries. It was enough for six people. Only con was that the portions of the dishes were smaller than what I was expecting.

Really great food. Prices are a bit high, but worth it. "Breakfast" hours are kind of ridiculous, not starting until after 10am, and the scallion sou bing (which mysteriously is devoid of scallions) is only served on the weekends. The place can get really packed and frenetic, so it's not good for people with crowd related anxiety.

Excellent! Eggplant with garlic sauce was the best I've had. Preparation, presentation and portions were just right. Staff was very nice, and the atmosphere was warm, bright and happy. This restaurant is very clean and managed well. The Mango Slushie was the best on the planet! We operate a Martial Arts School and made the trip from Massachusetts, hoping to meet the owner Angela Mao of Martial Arts and Film fame. So happy we did! The quality of the food, and the service at this restaurant is top notch. Thanks Angela!
