My wife and I have been coming here for years but we haven't visited recently. It's still the same very good Greek food. Where the fried calamari gyro platter lamb it was good it was all good service was excellent as usual they always were good ever since we've been going in there they've always been very attentive and nice. Be prepared to take food to go because you'll never finish all of it. The Waitress Maria is Excellent!

Absolute best gyros and souvalaki in the world. I've had them all over. Place hasn't changed one bit outside of the prices. Grew up blocks away and stopped on long layover in jfk. Just delicious. Have a gyro sandwich with a side of fries. And the pizza.... Wow!

Updated July, 2023. What a disappointing change in quality of food. Their gyros are terrible, seems like they are now using some sort of horse meet or something. The gyros seemed like chewed up meat. The only thing that is still the same is the soup. The overall quality went down and their prices sky rocketed. I will not go here again and do not recommend.
Sometime before 2023: The Gyros here are excellent, I love the soup. Service can use a little work.

Best Greek I've had, and the owner is incredibly friendly and generous. I read a couple reviews claiming this place "fell off" and etc but I don't know what they're talking about, this place deserves your business. Ordered some classics; gyros, lemon rice soup, etc, and they were far better than what I've had elsewhere both in Nj and Ny.

I I've been coming there for over 30 years I just feel that if someone doesn't understand a language but English people should not talk there language to some else that is disrespectful I would use a translator if that was the case but in this case your waitress does know English so to talk to my husband in Spanish in front of me when she knew English is very un professional it's not a case of jealousy it's the principle and Respect please train more professional Thankyou Blessed Day

Best gyro sandwich in Queens perfect balance of spices! The cheeseburger is char broiled which gives it a light smoke flavor while still being juicy.

The food was okay. I looked at the online menu, ordered two mini pizzas and a side dish to pick up, the woman on the phone told me that the total was $22.95 (I asked her three times because I could barely understand her). when I went to pick up my food the total was almost $40 and I had to take money out of the atm to pay for it because I did not expect that at all. WAY overpriced for mediocre food. Also the prices on urban spoon are very very inaccurate. I was treating my friend to a cheap birthday dinner not to a five star restaurant. I could have bought 3 large pizzas anywhere else.

Combination platter was excellent & huge: kebab, gyro meat: Greek salad, pita. Had it with the roasted lemon potatoes. Cup of soup was complimentary & good: hearty chicken rice with lemon. Limited parking. Good value.

Best Greek Food in the Area. Having married a Greek-American I absolutely love Greek food. Fontana always cooks us the best Souvlaki platters you can find in the area. Also try the Spanakopita (spinach pie), it's like my husband's mom makes it. The service is fast, professional and always helpful. <br/>I also love how they decorated the place during Christmas. There was so much attention given to the decorations, you can tell that this place is still run by a family whose members work there every day.

Excellent Food, Restaurant Needs Expansion. I've eaten here for as long as I can remember, and the gyros have been especially delectable. However, this restaurant is quite small, which makes seating difficult at times. On a busy day, I've waited up to half an hour to get a seat. To compensate for this, the restaurant has rather quick service. The tract of land they own is not conducive to expansion, so I would like to see the owner open a new site.

Eh Quite Disappointed in Customer Service. I went there around 11, although they're open until 1am. the "hostess" rolled his eyes and told us to sit down. Oh and by the way, this isn't a place you want to sit and eat at. You kind of just want to take it to go. Thought I mention that before you decide to dress up and dine out. <br/><br/>Well so i'm asking about a greek dish. and the waiter/hostess was trying to figure out what i ment. Though he had no idea what I was talking about, he said we don't have it. When asked did he know what dish I ment he said "NO". Turns out I was talking about Spinish Pie but only knew the Greek name for it. <br/><br/>Basically the waitor/hostess was annoyed we even came in, our simple party of TWO. BUT the food was good and came very fast. So.... hey get it to go. Because service is wacked.
