Small portions. On the veggies . My son loves the fried chicken tenders. I ordered chicken fried chicken the dinner size and halfway through the meal I realized l didn't get my dinner roll.
I was having a pleasant dinner with my best friend. We had an amazing server, I believe it was Jesseca. The food was excellent as well as the atmosphere. But then...it all changes as this large African American woman and her family took up at least 6 of the surrounding booths. All together there was about 22 of them. My friend and I visited for a long time catching up over the many months we have been apart. We watched our confident server be torn apart by this woman and her family. They were extremely rude. Not to mention they were loud and their kids all over the place. In the end I saw them say there was something wrong with their last bite of food and involved the manager. We saw Jesseca give them amazing service and they said it was the worst. The manager apologized and offered ton pay their 150$ bill. As the manager left they went back to being loud and when they finally left they didn't leave Jesseca a single penny. If you're going to take your family to eat take them somewhere you can afford, this poor girl only makes 2.13 an hour and I saw these disgusting people treat her like dirt. Cheddars is an amaing place, but don't go if you're not going to behave correctly.
I like the food but the portion size were small. The steak served to my friends were small compared to the other restaurants we've been to. And the service is slow. We waited for quite some time for our appetizer. And when were finished eating, it took them about 30 to 45 minutes to bring the bill. Thank goodness we all were just busy talking but I kept track on how long their service is.

My wife and I dined at this location on the 23rd of December 2010 @ 9:00PM We were almost immediately seated. The decor was nice (I feel it needed a bit more light) and the service was great. We ordered an appetizer each, a salad and entree. The appetizers were excellent and enough for two. The ceaser salads were above average and again large. The New Orleans Pasta and Dijon Chicken were some of the best we've tried. The portion sizes are HUGE. We took one appetizer and one-half of each entree home and aye them for lunch the next day. Microwaved, they were still delicious. I would whole heartedly recommend Cheddars to anyone looking for delicious food at an economical price. The most expensive item on the menu was the 13oz ribeye at $13.99. This is now my favorite restaurant in East Harris County, Texas.
Absolutely amazing, reasonably priced. Our server was a gent. He didn't bother us too much, and not too little. The aesthetics of the restaurant were unique to me. Comforting yet elegent. Like i was eating somewhere expensive, but the food really wasn't. But it was really delicious. The menu was well laid out and easy to read/understand. Plenty of drinks to choose from. For sure I'll be coming back!
Stopped in with family on our way to Houston. Our server Nicholas was great! Food at Cheddar's is always perfect even though they don't have the onion rings anymore 😔
The service staff here is ran like clockwork and I really appreciated it.
Great food and prices. But was very sad when I found out they didn't give away some kind of desert for my birthday.. smh.
Great service, fast and friendly, food was delicious, our server was very nice and helpful. We didn't waited to get a table or for our order. We really liked eating at Cheddars'
Oh my gosh!! This place was great! I ordered chicken fried steak, but got chicken fried chicken. One bite and I was hooked. So tender it melts in your mouth. Best chicken fried chicken I have ever eaten. You will love this place, just make sure the waitress hears what you are ordering. This time I was lucky with what I got.
My husband had Chicken fried Chicken with "Real " not boxed Mashed potatoes.. excellent.. Buffalo chicken wraps fries and my usual Painkiller drink.. excellent.
Pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and handled slight hiccups in service well. The food is fairly priced and rather tasty. I don't care for the fact that you only get 1 croissant each for free but it helped me control myself 😊
While the breading on my husband's chicken fried steak came off in one large piece, he still enjoyed the flavor. My Monte Cristo sandwich hit the spot. I am used to the raspberry preserves served with this type of sandwich having a little spice but I was thankful that it wasn't overly sweet.
We will be back.
Best ever. Our server Gina G was fantastic, the food was wonderful. This Cheddar's is a go to for us for quite a while. One of the managers also checked in with us and we told him just how good the service was from Gina. Will be back for the wonderful food and delicious strawberry lemonade
Great food! Greeter and wait staff youthful and helpful. Good timing from order taken to table served. Drink refills were very prompt. Very cold air conditioning and restrooms were clean. Decor overall was a little dated but nostalgic. I will return!
Surprised at the variety of their menu. I had the meat loaf and it did not disappoint. Will be going again to try their steaks due to their reputation.
Don't feel like cooking but don't want fast food? Cheddars is the best quality for the best price. Feeding a family of 5 gets expensive quick. Cheddars helps us stay under $50!!
Staff is always nice. Food is reasonably priced. I get the No 8 special with loaded mashed potatoes. The monte crisco is hit or miss. Pasta and chicken fried chicken are good. Nice portions. Definitely get the croissants (magical)
I was greeted with a friendly hostess at the entrance. Our waiter was very polite and knowledgeable on the menu courses. Upon the arrival of our meal I noticed my order was wrong I notified our service waiter, he quickly apologized and wanted to replace the order expedite the new one ASAP. It was comforting to hear that he would go to great lengths to make it right, I decided to keep the meal and rate it anyways, besides the food would just go to waste. Overall my experience at cheddars was very positive.
I have been here 4+ times. I got the ribs each time before this last visit (they are so moist and melt in your mouth!) This time I decided to try something different: salmon. It was excellent. Not overly dry. My husband loves the chicken strips and he’s also a fan of the ribs. Each time I’ve gone has been different times of day, including the busiest of times. There is generally no wait time, but dinner on the weekends can get a little hectic. Nothing that made me have a bad experience, as I’d have to wait anywhere I went. Any issues (very small) were taken care of immediately and each member of staff I’ve encountered has been pleasant. It has a great family atmosphere but also a great place for a date. TVs playing with sporting events. I will definitely return and I highly recommend!
The food is always good here. Consistency is key and I've been here many times and have enjoyed every bite. Kind waitstaff and delicious food. Who could ask for anything more.
The menu is pretty basic, they do put there own style into cooking it. Overall for me it was ok 👍
